Goods receipt with mvt 103 and storage location

Dear All,
I have a requirement. I create a PO and make the GR with mvt 103. I have to use 103 because no accounting document shall be created at the time of goods receipt. Then i will approve it with mvt 105.
Now, my client wants to see the storage location info at the time of GR with 103. But i cannot enter storage location if i use 103. Is there another mvt type that i can use storage location but no accounting document created ? I mean i want to enter storage location when i use 103. is it possible or any other mvt  types ?

SAP docu explains:
To post all items of a purchase order into goods receipt blocked stock, proceed as described in the section Entering a Goods Receipt for a Purchase Order, but use movement type PO to blocked stock ( 103 ) instead of movement type PO to warehouse (101).
All of the order items are posted into goods receipt blocked stock with movement type 103.
Since the material is not to be added to the inventory yet, do not enter a storage location.
Apart from these differences, you can follow the procedure described in the section Enter Goods Receipt for Purchase Order.

  • Goods Receipt requirement other than standard storage location

    SAP Guru,
    Kindly guide on how to take receipt of Raw Materials against Purchase order or without Purchase order at other than RM01 or RM02 Storage Location
    i.e. we purchase RM from Vendor A and we give this material to Vendor B for Job work and then we take GR from Vendor B
    We generated 2 Purchase Orders for Vendor A and Vendor B
    We cannot take receipt from Vendor A becuase they supplied prohibited material which cannot be taken as receipt directly in to SAP Standard Storage location instead we require to take receipt of same which accounts for Vendor B through which we can do Billing activity

    perhaps let me be more clear.
    above query is related to Confirmations -related goods issue.
    In customization-in purchasing- under confirmation- under set up conformation control .............there is an indicator to select / or not to select GR assignment indicator ...............in order to post the GR with reference to vendor confirmations.
    I wanted to enquire why and what is the functionality of this GR assignment and how system is going to react ........when we do select OR when we do not select that indicator.
    Hope this well help any body to get some idea of my query.

  • Goods Receipt with respect to Handling Unit (Transaction u0096 MIGO)

    Hi All,
    A delivery is created for stock transport order for goods movement from Plant XXXX (Storage Location – YYYY) to Plant XXXX (Storage Location – ZZZZ).
    Handling Units are packed on delivery and delivery is post goods issued from Plant XXXX (Storage Location – ZZZZ).
    While posting goods receipt (Transaction – MIGO) without selecting “Via Handling Units” system populates the “packaging material” line item whereas when “Via Handling Units” is selected (in other words – when tried to post Goods Receipt with respect to Handling Units) system doesn’t populate the associated “packaging material”.
    Requirement is to populate “packaging material” line item while posting Goods Receipt with respect to Handling Unit.
    Plz guide me.

    Chek the Inbound Delivery 1st weather you refer the right PO in it
    You can also chek in  PO i
    1 Me23n Go to confirmation tab here you can see the  Inbound delivery  quantity
    2 Chek  which reference document you recived the goods,  (i.e You recived the goods with reference to PO or  Inbound delivery)
    2 Coz if you refer the inbound delivery then syestem will deafult show the inbound quanity
    And yes the actual quanity will update in inbound delivery if you refer the inbound deivery while reciveing the goods

  • MB5B Movment type and storage location is reset

    When I run the report MB5B with radio button "valuated Stock" active for a specific Plant and Movement Type, I get a Message "Movement Type is reset" and then the entered Movement Type disappears from the selection criteria.
    However the report does not give me this message when the radio button "Storage Location/ Batch Stock" is active.
    Also, When I run the report MB5B with radio button "valuated Stock" active for a specific Plant and Storage Location, I get a Message "Storage Location is reset" and then the entered Storage Location disappears from the selection criteria.
    However the report does not give me this message when the radio button "Storage Location/ Batch Stock" is active.
    Please tell me why does this happen when the radio button "valuated Stock"  is active ?

    I am facing the problem as said in the thread.
    My two queries are as follows:
    Query 1:  In MB5B report When we select the valuated stock option ,We are unable to use movement type , storage location in the selection criteria nad getting the below messages.
    M7284 - Storage location is reset.
    M7298 - Movement type is reset .
    Query 2 :In MB5B report total receipts and total issues is showing incorrect values.
    Here say for example I prepared the grn, cancelled the grn and again made the grn. Here total receipts is considering in such a way that all the grn quantities are considered. and cancelled documents are considered as issues.
    ie  have received material = 100 Nos 01-12-2009
    cancelled grn:100 Nos
    Redo grn:100 Nos
    Done transfer posting 415 Q = 10 nOS = 02-12-2009
    Issued = 10 nos = 02-12-2009
    In mB5B 01-12-2009 to 02-12-2009
    We are getting Opening stock= 0 which is correct
    Total receipts = 100(GRN IST TIME)+100(GR SECOND TIME) +10(TRANSFER POSTING)=210
    Total issues = 100(CANCEL GRN)10(TRANSFER POSTING)10(GOODS ISSUE) =120
    Closing stock = 90(CORRECT)
    Here actual recipt: should be 100
             actual issue should be 10
    Here though the closing stock is correct , 415 transfer posting is considered as issue and receipt.Becoz of this total issues quantity report is going wrong.
    Please give your valuable suggestions to the above two problems seperately.

  • Goods Receipt with production order in WM

              My client requirement is whenever i am issuing  goods to the production order the stock reserved to production order, once i confirmed the  TO stock level  reduced.Once production  completed when i put the goods receipt with production order the stock increased for finished goods only at storage location level not  upto warehouse level.
    when i put goods receipt with others the stock increased in  warehouselevel upto my destination bin(as i configured).My requirement is how to move goods to my  destination bin when goods receipt for production order. any configuration required? solve my issue
    i am maintaining configuration as
    i)in omlj iam using movt type-103, source as 901(scr checked),dest as 003,reqirement type-orders.
    ii)in omlr i am assigning 103wm mov type to 101 im type.
    whether  my configuration is correct or i have to do any other configuration ?..i am not maintain any production staging process is it necessary?

    To consolidate your requirements once again
    You want imediate TO creation for components. (It is configured & working fine now)
    You dont want imediate TO creation for finished goods, only in the case of GR for Productio order. Right?
    If Yes, you need to have a small configuration setting (if it is missing)
    In OMLR Create TO immediately Indicator should be space "Do not initiate TO creation" (not X) for 101 F - 103

    You can use this method to create a material document for a goods movement.
    You can only create one material document each time you call up the method.

  • Stock report in BW (valuated stock and Storage Location level)

                Regards.We got an situation here,
    Case 1:  R3 (MB5B) (Both "Storage loc" and "Valuated stock" shows the same Stock Qty)
    1).The BW Stock Report shows values the Correct Values for "Receipt Qty" and "Issue Qty" with the Correct  "Quantity total Stock" aswell.
    Case 2 :   R3 (MB5B) (Stock is different between "Storage Loc" and "Valuated Stock")
    1).The BW Stock Report shows the  "Quantity Total Stock according to VALUATED STOCK Level(MB5B),but  the "Receipt Qty" and "Issue Qty" according to STORAGE LOCATION Level(MB5B) .
    We followed the "How to Handle Inventory "Doc with the proper sequence of Loading of Infosources and Compression.The data is sitting fine at the cube level.
    It would be great if someone can throw some Light on this issue,on how the Query shows a COMBO of both Valuated stock and Storage Location stock....Held up with this issue for quite sometime..Had a look at the   Oss Note (589024)...........

    In Inventory we have two quantity fields given to satisfy the requirement.
    Valuated stock Qty - 0VALSTCKQTY
    Storage Location qty - 0TOTALSTCK
    You can make use of them based on your requirement. Hope this helps for you.

    I have 2 plants 1000-procurement plant and 2000- production plant. I am using special procurement key 70( Withdrawal from alternative plant from 1000 to 2000) for components in Plant 2000. The requirements for the components are transferred from 2000 plant to 1000 plant. The 1000 plant run MRP for the dependent requirements and procure the materials and transferred to the production storage location in Plant 2000.The raw materials are purchased in plant 1000 and transferred to Plant 2000 production storage location based on the manual reservations created with movement type 301. This is fine.
    But when I do backflush in MFBF the plant and storage location for the components issue are displayed as plant 1000 which is the procurement plant  and the production storage location in plant 2000-production plant location. In the BOM the production storage location is production storage location of plant 2000. Since we use the special procurement key system defaults the plant as 1000(procurement  plant) insteadd of 2000(production plant). can we make this plant default to the production plant 2000 as default in the MFBF goods issue screen.

          Can you give me some information more in Special Procument Configure in plant 2000 like:
              -  Procurement type (maybe F)
              -  Special procurement (Maybe U)
              -  Plant (Maybe 1000).
              - Issuing plant (maybe 2000)

  • Serial data tab page missing during Goods Receipt for Mvt type 501

    I have created and asigned the Seria data profile in plant data/Storage 2 of the material master record. Now i want to do the Goods receipt of this material with Mvtr type 501 w.r.t any documents for 5 no's and want the serial number to be createdment. I also have made relevant settings for automatic serial number and equipemnt number synchr, but wen i m in MIGO--Goods Receipt OtherMvt type 501 and enter, the serial data tab page is missing..
    How can I activate this tab page....Any steps missing....
    Can some one throw lights on this.....
    Refered relevant threads but not much useful to my query....

    Try 501 with MB1C, OR
    Check through Path SPRO -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Serial Numbers -> Determine Serial Number Profiles -> Select Profile 'MM' & double click on Serializing procedure at left & maintain obligatory(03) for procedure MMSL i.e. Maintain goods receipt and issue doc. Also press F1 in Serial Number Usage to read the usage.

  • Cancellation of Goods Receipt with Credit Memo Transaction Issue

    Dear SAP Expert and Guru,
    Normally cancellation of goods receipt cannot be done when invoice has been issued. Cancellation of Goods receipt can only be done when there is the credit memo being issued in MIRO.
    The problem now is that is there any table that can tracked the linkage between Credit Memo and the Cancellation of Goods receipt?
    The goods receipt with the invoice linkage can be found in both table EKBE and BKPF. But not the credit memo and cancellation of Goods receipt.

    Dear Jeya and SAP expert and Gurus,
    You are correct, but with the document number, how am I going to get the Cancellation of GR document?
    In table BKPF and EKBE. With the invoice number (34*******) then pass it to table BKPF to get the invoice number (52*******),
    Then get the invoice number (52*******) pass it to table EKBE to get the Goods Receipt document (61*******).
    However, this only can track the transaction goods receipt and Invoice but not the credit memo with cancellation of goods receipt.
    Kindly asvise on that.

    Check BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE
    Look at the documentation if you want to make a goods issue or a good receipt for purchase order or production order, etc.
    Inbound delivery only means is going to enter the plant (ie. mvt 101)
