Google adsense ads no longer appear after latest update

Hello,
I just recently did quite a few updates through updater and now all my Google Adsense Ads disappeared. Well, they are still there, but solid blocks of color with no text. Other than the update, I didn't do anything else besides add some text to the pages. They worked fine beforehand.
If I delete them and re-add them, I get the same results. I waited over 24 hours to see if they would appear and they didn't. I emailed Google, with a generic form letter in return that didn't address the issue.
I'm hoping that the smart people on here maybe have experienced this and know what's going on. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Special Keys(Ctrl-opt-esc) in Screen Share no longer working after latest update

I typically remote into a machine back home through icloud once or twice a week to help my wife kill a program that can get stuck. I used to be able to send command+opt+esc to get to the remote computers force quit applications window. But now when I do that after the latest update, it only does it on my computer and no longer send the command to the remote screen share session.
Anyone else experience this or have a fix?

Bluetooth headset no longer work after latest update

I use a Plantronics Voyager Pro bluetooth headset for Skype calling and Ventrillo on my Macbook Pro. Since after the latest update, it no longer works. Both input and output doesn't work and the applications hang for about 30 seconds. I've tried re-pairing the device to no avail. Both applications work if I switch them to the built-in microphone.
I also tried doing the same thing with a Plantronics 245 and I get the same issue.
Both headset work with my phone.

FIXED!!!!
Steps to UNF*ing your Mac.
1) Install an app called Pacifist
2) Download the individual installer for the Magic Touch Update here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1066 DO NOT INSTALL THIS
3) Load your OSX Install DVD
4) Open the MagicTrackpadMultiTouchUpd1.0.dmg in Pacifist
5) Open your OSX Installer DVD in Pacifist
6) Look at the MagicTrackpadMultiTouchUpd1.0.dmg package in Pacifist to see exactly what it installed and where.
7) Find these SAME EXACT FILES on the OSX Installer and reinstall them as root (e.g. using your admin password when asked)
8) Repair permissions (Do NOT skip this)
9) Reboot
10) MOST IMPORTANT: Never install the update again!!
Your bluetooth headset will work in skype after this. You will replace EVERY FILE THE MagicTrackpadMultiTouchUpd1.0.dmg package installed with one from the DVD. If you can not find it, the search bar in Pacifist works wonders.
You will get an error if you try to reinstall admin.framework about not having permission to install. This will be the ONLY file you will not reinstall.
Yes, you have more or less, in a very complicated fashion uninstalled the update (software update shows the Magic Touch update as needed afterwards).

In case you developers want to know, I'll give you my play by play. After the installation of the update, it borked the bluetooth causing Skype to freeze. Reinstalling all the original kexts from the installer disk fixed the skype freezing issue, but there was still no audio. In fact, after reinstalling everything in the System>Library folder still left me with no audio, but it would not freeze or cause kernel panics at this point.
This is where I got the magic. I started replacing stuff in the usr directory. Upon replacing the usr>libexec>cups>backend>bluetooth; usr>libexec>hidd; usr>sbin>blued; and the blue.8 and hidd.8 files, I got audio back and the stars aligned in perfect harmony. I suspect apple needs to retool the kexts and rewrite the root level profiles.

Mail on my iPad 2 is no longer working after latest update. If I delete the account and reinstate it will I lose everything that was there before?

Mail on my iPad 2 has stopped working since the latest update. The symbol is on the screen in its' usual place but it either opens briefly, just showing the blank framework for Mail before suddenly quitting, or all the App symbols disappear completelly from the screen. I'm not confident that i know what to do! If I delete the account and reinstate it will I lose everything that was there before? Looking at an earlier question along the same lines it doesn't appear that that would make a difference. If I reset the whole thing will I lose all my documents, photos etc.?
i'd be extremely grateful for some clear guidance!

Itunes no longer works after latest update

I updated the latest version of iTunes. Now, it no longer works. Then my computer told me to update the latest version, so tried again, but again it didn' work. So in uninstalled iTunes and tried to install it again. It didn't work. I even tried with an older update after I had deleted the latest one and it didn't work. Now my computer tells me that some file or stuff was missing.

...now my computer updated it again. It opened, tried to collect information about the copyright, the an error message popped up saying that iTunes does not work correctly due to any mistake...

Lots of my music will no longer play after latest update

I have a lot of music that will no longer play in my iTunes after the last update. it doesnt happen with all my music, but a lot of it, and as far as i can tell, movies and tv shows are still good. when i click on the song, it just skips forward over a lot of songs that it cant play until it gets to the next one that it can play. to make things stranger, i synced my iPad to my iTunes, and the ones that cant play in my iTunes will play on my iPad. when i try to open the song using QuickTime player, i get the following error: error -2002 a bad public movie atom was found in the movie
what is a bad movie atom and why am i getting the error when trying to play an audio file, and why wont they play in my iTunes but will on my iPad.
System: Win7 Ultimate 64bit AMD A10 8GB RAM
iTunes : 11.4.0.18
QuickTime : 7.7.5
any ideas?

The contacts is saved on Google or Backup Assistance (Whichever you are using) and you can use ES File Explorer like I posted at http://community.vzw.com/t5/Android-Apps/Simple-way-to-Backup-apps-for-Hard-Reset/td-p/658707 , so you really wont loose anything but apps data...
BUT, I am not saying that you do this if that is your only issue... I was just pointing out that this is a good ideal to do with any Major Updates..
If the contacts isnt linked again you should get the option to link them again once the OS boots, normally it checks and then prompt to link again..

Airport no longer working after latest updates

After my latest software updates, the Airport on my 13" Macbook is no longer working.
I can connect to networks and can get full signal from the wireless router in my home, yet none of my browsers can actually connect to the internet.
I've tried multiple wireless connections and none function properly. Suggestions?
I'm currently connected directly to my NETGEAR router via ethernet

Experiencing similar issue.
Wired works forever without any issue. Wireless (airport) works for a while (random 2-60 minutes, could be related to data volume) then gets stuck. At that point getting back to wire (without reseting the airport AP) solves it. Also, cycling the airport client (disable/enable) gets it to work for a few minutes... until it gets stuck again. Other devices (iPhone, iPod touch) connected to the same airport AP do get access while the macbook is stuck.
Thought this could be 11n related since the macbook is the only device running 11n. However, while wireless http/web access is stuck on the macbook one can still perform ftp connections (bit no file transfer as such), pings and/or access the time machine configuration (some of this seems to be randomly working) from that macbook. Not sure whether 11n handles short bursts and large bursts differently?
Finally, the behaviour is the same whether using Safari or Firefox and relaunching eitehr app does not solve it.
Clueless for now.

our btooth headsets were working (barely) w our Mbook Pros. the latest s/w update completely killed it completely.
the system recognizes the devices, but no audio will work. I've tried everything I've found on it:
- deleted and repaired the headsets
- cleared the PRAM
- deleted the btooth audio profiles
- hardset the headset use for the various apps
any idea if Apple is aware that this problem exists, or any ideas as to how to pass it on?
For the first time in a year, I'm missing my Dell laptop, and may have to consider going back to the darkside if this continues. Our side business relies on Skype, and using wired headsets won't cut it for long.....

Multi room DVR no longer works after latest update

I just recieved an update on my 2 DVR's and now the multi room function no longer works. I no longer see the other DVR's recodings. When I try the verizon auto dvr fix it locks up and freeses and says to try again later sometime. Anyone else get an update and loose multi room function?

Yahoo Contacts option no longer available after latest update

I just updated to iTunes 10.7.0.21 and when I went to synch my contacts the option for yahoo contacts has disappeared. Does anyone know what happened? I am using iPhone 3gs and windows 7 64.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Site.
Is the Dependant Files option selected? x Prompt on put/check in.

Internal power died, now adsense ads won't appear

Two weeks ago, the internal power in my computer died (it's one of those PowerMac towers). The "power source" (or whatever you call it) was replaced, and no files were lost. But now, when I add Google Adsense ads to my Iweb created website pages, there's just empty space where the ads should be when my pages are posted online.
I checked in Iweb/File, where you go to "set up Google Adsense," and my account is still shown as "Active."
Has anyone else had to deal with this before? What did you do?

After latest update my iPad (no camera) screen went dark (dim) & blank. At first I could not power off. At some point voice said setup incomplete. In every language. Took someones advise turned off voice over in itunes.. that stopped the voices. itunes identifies and syncs but ipad screen remains blank (dimly lit). Home screen appeared for moment couple of times as well as wifi setup but disappeared as soon as i started to enter info. Hear swipe see nothing! HELP!

You mention that your iPod nano is no longer recognized by iTunes after an update. Reinstalling iTunes is a good troubleshooting step, and if the device still doesn't appear in iTunes, try the following steps next:
Turn off your computer and your iOS device or iPod, then turn them on again.
Check to make sure that you've installed all required updates for your computer.
Verify that the 30-pin to USB cable or Lightning Connector to USB cable is free of debris and not damaged. If another cable is available, test with that cable instead.
USB cables that are bundled with third-party products or accessories might work only to charge those products and might not transmit data. Also, if you're using a third-party case or extended battery pack, try removing the case and connecting the Apple-supplied USB cable directly to your device.

Flash player no longer working with latest update?

I'm running Google Chrome with Windows 7, and after Adobe updated a couple days ago, videos on certain websites (ex. Vudu) stopped working. Netflix and Youtube videos continued to run perfectly fine. Today, youtube continues to work fine, but now Netflix has stopped playing videos as well. Most websites will give an error saying either it couldn't connect, the video doesn't exist, or the video will just sit loading and never play. I know my internet connection is fine, and as previously stated, I have had no problems watching youtube videos. I figure this has to be a problem with, or caused by Adobe since the problems did not occur until immedately after updating to the latest version. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
