Google -- images found 57,800,000 results but only 30 or so showed up. How do I view more images? I like the older firefox better: I could scroll through hundreds of images.

I like the old firefox much better. When I go to Google --> images and type in "spider", Google tells me that 57,800,000 images were found, but only 30 (or so) are displayed now and there doesn't seem to be a way to access more images. Prior to the upgrade, I could scroll through page after page of images to find the best image for my needs. Tools --> options didn't provide any solutions.

rimsx: Thank you once again for the ideas. No error message is generated. I did try disabling all extensions to see if that did anything, too, and restarting firefox.
I work on a government computer, so maybe it's a problem getting through our firewall! Who knows? Chrome and Internet Explorer allow me to search through pictures, though, so I've got other options. For some odd reason, I was a little partial to firefox.
The way things work around here is that I can try using firefox again in a few months and everything will work perfectly!!!!

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

If I click a link on my desktop or in any other program (while Firefox is open and running), I get this message: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. There's about a billion links for this if you Google it, but they all say that Firefox wasn't shut down properly. (OK, maybe not ALL of them, but if the needle is in that haystack, I haven't yet found it.) That's not the issue in my case since I haven't shut FF down at all.

Why did you delete your profile? Also how? Did you use the profile manager or did you delete from the windows file structure?
It sounds like something during the profile delete has stopped Firefox from starting up. Please see the this article and follow the steps:

If you go to Window > Arrange you can choose from several view options. Below I have selected Two-Up Horizontal since I have two images, but you can select other options if you have more than one image.

Export to html but only safari will show it.

I built a presentation and exported it html but only safari will show it. The other browsers show only a black screen.

If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash information.
Now copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply here. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.
Post a crash report so we can try and help you. Make sure and include the "binary images" section.

I understand that I can pull those movies from ICloud any time I want to watch them, but I want to watch the ones that I've just sync'd with my IPad. How do I find them? There are some good programs that you could use to convert the format, Handbrake or Mpegstreamclip are two good free ones. Convert them to MP4 and then try importing them again.

Update firefox, it asked me to update flash, I tried to update flash but it said I had to close firefox. A box came up and said the Flash install would continue when I closed firefox. I closed all firefox windows and no update of flash occurred. I tried relaunching firefox but got the "Doesn't start when starting as administrator. Firefox will be hanging for some reason. The quick solutions to kill the process and try again. The next step is to try to see if it will start and exit normally a couple of times, if so the problem is solved. If not the reason needs further investigation.
