GR for Import PO

Hi,
Is there any error message or some setting, so that at the time of GRN system will show the message that Custom invoice not prepared.
Pls guide.

In Import PO, first do MIRO based on this PO with Planned delivery cost and fill up the amount of the BED, AED and quantity referring to your PO and also tax code as filled up in PO and post it. This will capture the Customs entries seperately. Now do the MIGO, the system will give by default the relative commercial invoice no. Fill up the year and click ok and post MIGO transactions. Next you can do MIRO for
balance items.

I can get down as far as step 11 but it shows nothing about upper filters and when I type on "If the Upper Filters entry is missing follow these instructions" nothing happens
Do you mean you can't see the instructions on what to do if there is no UpperFilters entry?
If so, here's the relevant instructions for that step:
On the right side of the Registry Editor window, right-click the UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.
Right-click the empty white space within the right-hand portion of the Registry Editor window. From the shortcut menu, choose New > Multi-String Value.
Name this new value "UpperFilters" (without the quotes). Then, right-click the newly created UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.

How to add more fields at level task for importing to MsProject

Hi everyone,
We would like to have the same number of fields either for importing as exporting; or at least, the fields that we need.
The problem is when we are configurating the fields for exporting from cProjects to MsProject, we found 81 available fields and then we don't find the same amount for importing (34). So, in some cases we don't find fields which were configurated for exporting and it is no posible to upload the information back because the field is no available for importing.
Does anyone knows how to add more fields for importing at the cProjects side?

Some fields can not be migrated because of MsProject designe. The above is the reason why cProjects' customizing does not offer the
mapping of the same nuember of fields.

I have followed instructions for importing favorites from Internet Explorer, but they do not show up in Bookmarks menu as shown in the support instructions.

I just downloaded Firefox 3.6 and followed the instructions for importing Favorites from Internet Explorer. Firefox said the import was successful, but the Favorites do not appear at the bottom of the Bookmarks menu (below "Mozilla Firefox") as shown in the Support instructions. Where can I access my Favorites?

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks).<br />
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

Letter of credit functionality for imports

Hi Experts
W.r.t FT, the financial document can be used as LC.
1) Is it possible to use this LC (Financial doc- Transaction VX11N) for linking the import purchase order?
2) Is there any standard functionality to monitor the import purchase orders which involve Letter of credit?
3) Is there any userexit to enhance the existing VX11N to make use for import purchase order?

I regret to inform you that the functionality you request is not
implemented in the standard system within the Foriegn trade area.
" The documentary payment functionality (Letter of Credit) for vendors
is not available in SAP Standard System.
Documentary payments can only be created on the SD side for customer
but not for vendors.
At this time, there is no plan to develop this functionality. "
Please note that the Foriegn Trade functionality has been expanded and
is available in the solution product "Global Trade Services" (GTS).
As you are probably already aware information on GTS is available in SAP
Service Marketplace.

when i was having trouble with my optical drive(before Dell sent me a new one) the dell tech support representative had me delete some reg. files to try to fix the problem. I was told this would not affect the new drive when i install it or any of my existing programs. here is what he had me do....

Partial qty MIRO and GR for import PO

Hi,
For import PO first we are creating PO for vendor and we enter only qty and 0% tax for import PO after getting material as per schedule qty we are creating new PO for the recieved qty only and we are adding all the custom condition as delivery cost in second PO then we process further like MIRO and GR , but to avoid this we are trying to make only one PO on import vendor and adding all the custom codnition in that PO in development server and we process the MIRO, J1IEX, and GR process for partial qty for one material and for one material we have taken ful qty. first time it works OK , now when second time we want to do MIRO , J1IEX and GR againt same PO we are facing probelm like In MIRO when we enter PO number it is showing some amount in Balance amount filed which is generally 0 , in MIRO it is also showing the some material for which no open qty and also for partial qty if we enter qty more than open po qty system is not giveing any error,
Can you some stpes and tips what configurationwe need, actual requirement is we want that we will create import PO o etime by adding all the custom condition as delivery cost and ref. to that material we want to do MIRO, J1IEX and GR for partial qty.

I have two points,
While after recieving import material first we do the miro for custom condition in this we enter the custom vendor code in the invoicing party, and below next to PO number field we generally select option no. 3 i.e Goods / service item + planned delivery cost with this all conditions come in the miro but our requirement is only those codnition should come in which invocing party is which we have enter in the header fied of MIRO ,
so insted of 3 option Goods / service item + planned delivery cost , if we select option 2 Planned delivery cost our problem get solve so i want to know what is the effect if insted of 3 option we select option 2.

Excise Accounting document not generated for Imported Asset GR

Dear all,
Excise accounting document is not generated for imported asset goods receipt(MIGO)
but "C" Register part 2 no. is generated,usual accounting document is generated for GR,
Asset is Dr to GR/IR
Process is
1. Create asset purchase order with acct. assignment "A",
2. Customs miro based on p.o.
3. Do GR with excise
4. Post invoice for orginal vendor.
What will be cause of this problem ?
How to solve this issue ?

The above issue may be due to Accout assignmnet -A . Check your accout assignment in spro -mm-purchasing -accout assignment - Asset A - GR Non valuated has Ticked on . If it is ticked on - No Fi entry will happen at the Time of GR .
The reason being , if an FI entry happen for the first time , asset is capitalised . To avoid this GR is made in ur config as this .

When doing MIGO for Import PO excise tab is not appearing for the material
I have maintained all the data in J1ID for the material and plant
already we use to capture EI for the same material and plant but this time this is creating issues
We have posted an inoice of planned delivery costs but no excise tab in MIGO
What might be the reason

First you have to post the Customs MIRO in case of import purchase...then go for MIGO...you will find excise tab will follow....

Everytime I connect my iPod Touch (4th Gen) to my laptop, running Win 7 (64 bit) I get the message "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes" I have reinstalled iTunes several times and it has not fixed the issue. I am running ver 10.2.2.12 of iTunes. I HAVE NOT installed any other burning software to my laptop either. I haven't tried uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it yet. Would that perhaps fix the problem? I've read that many users have had issues with the new version of the software and I was wondering if that might be causing my issue. I'd like to point out that iTunes seems to work after getting rid of the message, but I haven't tried to burn any CDs or put music from a CD to my laptop. Any ideas on how to get rid of the annoying message?
I also am having trouble hooking up with our other computers using Homegroup. I noticed quite a lot of people are having the same issue and hopefully they come up with a fix for that soon.

If you're still getting the error message (especially when you plug in the Touch), I'd check for a device filter confusion on the PC. (They can affect the connection of USB devices to a PC, as well as burning and importing CDs.) For that one, see:

In Address Book, why does Apple let you create custom fields in the Template cards but not have them available for importing?

I open Address Book, go into Preferences, select Template and under the Names field (friend, assistant, father, etc) I add a custom field called "Principal".
I also add two more custom fields in the Email area.
Quit Address Book then relaunch. Add a new contact and the new custom fields, Principal, etc. are there. All good so far.
I have a Now Contact file with about 200 contacts in it. I export all fields as a Text file, Tab delimited. No problems there. With Address Book launched, select Import, pick the text file, leave Text Encoding on Automatic and click Open.
The window that shows the fields for Address Book and fields for the text file side by side opens. This is where you match up the correct fields for importing. If I go to one of the fields from the text file that I created a custom field for, click under the Address Book heading on the Do not import, scroll thru the Apple choices of fields, none of the custom fields show up. Only the original Apple ones are there. Why does Apple let you create them in the Template area but not have them available for importing? Does anyone have suggestions on getting around this?

While most likely not of interest to you, Spotlight can also tell you where the files it finds are located
Hover the mouse pointer over the name, and press Command-Option and the path to the file will be displayed.
As for opening a terminal session in the directory where a file is located, there is Applescripts that do just that as well as specific features in Lion/Mountain Lion terminal:

Blue Screen of Death (B.S.O.D.) when inserting cd for import into ITunes...

Hello All -
I'm new to this forum. I'm so frustrated with Itunes crashing all of a sudden. It was running great for the first about 100 cds that I imported. I was running the latest version and abruptly started getting the B.S.O.D. the moment I inserted an audio cd into the drive and it began to load up for import. XP gives a quick blue screen and shuts everything down to the point of posting and restarting windows. Sometimes if I still have that cd in the drive, it will reboot once again and give the serious error (fatal error) once the desktop appears. I thought maybe the latest version had a glitch so I backed up to the version that came with my ipod 6.0.0.18 but I'm still getting the same problems. I even tried putting all of the mp3s stored so far in a different directory, wiping out the two itunes library files under my music folder and putting the new cds in the default my music\itunes directory but all of this and I'm getting the same problems all over again.
The screen flashes too fast to allow me to read what the error is that is causing the crash. I'm at the point of saying Itunes for Windows totally *****. I'm new to the IPOD world and was so thrilled but I'm having nothing but problems with the importing.
Anyone out there who is experiencing this problem or have any suggestions? I'm only about 1/3 of the way thru my music collection of over 500 cd's and need this program to work.

I found out the problem. I don't know if it will be the same for you though. I had a program installed on my computer called DVD Region Free which runs a program in the background called dvd43free.exe. Even if I don't have the program running, the dvd43free.exe file that is in the registry corrupts ITunes. Simply uninstall whatever program you may have to get rid of that stupid file dvd43free and this should fix it. I did this and now ITunes has not crashed a once since. I think there are different programs out there that use the file for backing up dvd's, not only dvdregionfree which I don't use anymore anyways so I uninstalled it. Hope this helps.
