Group photos together

Hi,
I am making a movie made up of A LOT of still images, much like a stop motion animation. I am wondering if it is possible to group photos together once I have them how I want them so I can move them around like a single video clip.
Or will I have to export it as a small video clip and import it again to do this?
I'm using FCP 5.1 by the way
Thanks in advance

As reink says, exporting is the best way. Unless you have filmed these yourself as a stop motion animation as continuous jpeg file numbers, in which case you can import them into motion as an image sequence, resize the whole clip (not individual frames) and export as a video file from there.
cheers
Andy

  • Cannot stitch series of photos together in a panorama

Using mac OSx 10.9.4 with elements 9. Used to be able to load group of photos together for panorama and it worked.
Suddenly glitch occurred so that when importing raw files they are not lined up in numerical order and therefore when operating merge panorama it states 'cannot align.'

  • How can I keep the front and back of a photo together in a single image?

I'm running PSE 8 on XP with SP3.
I'm getting ready to upgrade to PSE 9.
My cousin just sent me 24 old family photos.
On the back of each photo is a lot of information.
Who is in the picture, where it was taken, what the event was, etc.
What I'd like to be able to do is to scan these images in and somehow keep the front and the back of
each photo together in a single image. That way I can post them to a photo web site and people
can look at the image and read what it is.
    I have a Lexmark Pro 205 printer/scanner.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!

I worked on one of the pictures with your Mom and Dad. These scans are quite good and there is a lot of information in them. One can spend a lot of time fixing them up - good project!
    Here is what I did:
    Duplicated background layer
Applied Brightness/contrast adjustment layer, worked the sliders
    Merged down
Sampled sky with eye dropper tool, opened blank layer at top of stack, used brush tool to cover a few of the spots in the sky (?dust)
    Merged down
Accessed Smart brush tool, selected black & white in drop down, selected high contrast b&w, covered the sky with that
Selected Yellow filter, and covered the ground
    Merged down
Opened a blank layer at top of stack and added a couple of clouds
Applied Photofilter adjustment layer, warming filter LBA, adjusted density
    Sharpened slightly with unsharp  mask
    Merged visible
    Applied stroke
On review, the spots in the sky need additional work - they show up more on-line than in PSE.  Can be fixed in step #4.

  • I have Photoshop CS 6 on my computer.  I want to bring a series of photos together into one image wi

I have Photoshop CS 6 on my Mac computer.  I want to bring a series of photos together into one image without any space between images, does anyone know how to this?  Ideally I would like to this manually.
The reason I ask in my ealier verion of Photoshop, CS3, there was a manual alignment  feature when using 'Photo Merge' feature, undr which you could manual alignment photographs if you wanted to, and I do in this instance.  This feature was removed in subsequent versions of Photoshop CS 4,5, and 6.

Sean, Batch resize them all to the samne size, load as layers, increase Canvas size, and the layers will 'snap' together with the Move tool.  You'll be able to use the alignment tools in the Options bar when the Move tool is selected.  You will also be able to use the 'Auto select layer' feature in the Options bar to make it easier grabing the right layer.
Otherwise, get hold of Contact Sheet 2. Still resize all the images to the same size, and set the gap to zero, and turn titles off.  Please note this is from memory, and it is years sonce I last used Contact Sheet.

  • Hover mouse over a group photo & individual image pops up?

My project is to do a mouse hover over individual faces on a group photo and display an image of what that person looked like back in high school.
So far I am able to display the persons name as I hover over their face but don't know how to also display their individual image.
I set up an image map with circular hotspots for each face.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You could do this very easily with Tooltips on an Image Map.  See example below and mouse over Image Map of South America.

  • Group rows together and toggle / collapse them

I'm trying to leave excel, but one thing I can't figure out is how to group rows together so i can collapse or expand them. I realize there are categories, but they won't work for me for a variety of reasons. What I simply want to do is take a few rows and group them with the main top row and be able to click to show/hide the subrows. that's simple. i want to do it manually for just some rows, not an entire table. i find category groups confusing and irritating, and they're not working correctly.
How can I do this in numbers?

Make sure that the input for the Sub Mix track says Bus 1.

  • How to disable others from changing group photo?

Hi I'm new, I apologize if this is the wrong section to ask this..
In some of my skype calls which I administrate, people will just change the title and group photo to whatever they want, (usually inappropriate).
Is there a way to disable the function so that only I can control stuff like the group/conversation photo and title?

    Hi,
Did you mean that once users first log on Windows 8.1 and IE 11 pops up? Did this issue happened after logging off then logging in and shutting down the PC then restarting to login?
What’s the detailed information about the pop-up? The screenshot would be more helpful for us to determine the issue.
We can check if there is any logon script or task schedule configured in your environment.
For further help you, please provide more information about how you deploy Windows 8.1.
Meanwhile, please help to collect the boot trace for further research.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to group documents together like blog site.
I recommend to use content search web part to achieve what you want.

  • How to blend two photos together ?

    Hi Everyone,
I'm an intermediate Photoshop user and this is my first post.  I'm hoping to get some advice from an advanced user to achieve the following:
    1)  I have two seperate images...one of a scenic background and another of a person's face.  I want to place the image of the person's face on top of the scenic background and blend them together so the person's face looks like a soft silhouette on the scenic background. I want to do this in an 'artful' way where the two images blend together with real chemistry.  I tried using "overlay" mode on the facial image and fiddling with its layer opacity (which I thought would work) but the results look very contrived to me.  Anyone know how to do this ?
Thank you very much for your time !
    Jay

Thank you John for the quick reply.  I actually excerpted the facial image fairly well and I did use a feathered edge as well as a layer style called "Outer Glow".  Both of these techniques helped.  I'm just looking a way for these two images to have real chemistry together.  I am designing a series of sympathy cards for a memorial service and I'm looking to marry these two images together in an artful way.  Are there any 3rd party filters that combine photos together in a collage like this ?  Although my collage is very simple (just two images).  I have attached one sample background image here if you'd like to see what it looks like.  I have the image of the Woman's face already cut out on a transparent background in a .psd file.  I can't seem to post a PSD file here in the forum.  So, I uploaded it to a website where it can be downloaded from the following location:

  • Very much a beginner. How do I cut someone out of a group photo and move them to another part of the same photo?

I have a group photo and I would like to move someone from one side of it to the other. I would like to know how to select that person, cut him out, and paste him in a different place on the picture. Is that possible? If so, how? Thank You!

  • PSE 4 Docking and Grouping Palettes together

I'm looking in my manual (page 38)about how to group palettes together and how to dock them together. This whole section seems to be written by someone who hasn't ever really used PSE4.
What is the difference between grouping palettes together and docking palettes together? And how the heck to I do it?
What I want is to have my little palettes with there tabs right next to each other kind of like a filing system so when I click on a tab that is the palette that shows up on top. No need for all the expanding and contracting. That's pretty much how it looked in PSE 2.0.

First of all, drag your palettes out of the bin. Then click the arrow at the upper right of each one and uncheck "close to palette bin.." Then drag the
tab of one palette onto the tab of another one, the same way you can do in PE2. They should combine into one multi-tabbed palette.
