If the report is having a selection-screen then once getting the selection screen type in the command field /h.Try this.
2.how come developer come to know that any object is in development ,quality or production?
You can chek the SE09 transcation in which we can find the TR No tree under which you can find the TASK Number tree,one you pull down the tree here you can find the object assigned to that particular TR Num.If that TR is released then it is an indication that it has moved from Development to Testing.
But we have a table to know what you are asking.Try to get that table name by using dd02l in se11. or try using STMS transaction.
3.if we have 5 records in the desktop then, how i can transfer these records to 10 records using BDC?

A Skype Number is a different subscription from purchasing credit; you would have to check on the offerings available if credit is "bundled" with a Skype Number purchase or not. I do not believe it is. Credit is credit; there is no "discounted" rate. Check the Skype subscription website pages to see if purchasing a subscription could discount the cost of a Skype Number.

Alzheimer's Disease, need some answers on gettin a new Macbook?
I am 57 years old, and was diagnosed with Alzheimer's some 9 months ago. Learning new things is out, trying to maintain what I do know is a struggle at best. I have a MacBook Pro, probably 4 years old. I want to purchase another MacBook Pro. My question is, I do not need to worry about transfering anything to my new computer, or do I. Everything I have on here, like iTunes, will be on the new one, once I log on..email, another example. Once I put in my email address, will the new computer just find it??? I dont or cant do alot of tech. things anymore and fear the new computer will ask me questions or want me to enter things I dont know anymore. It will automatically pick up my wireless network, right? Things like this worry me, and was just wondering...thanks for you answers in advance....
First, I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis at such an early age. You have to document everything and have someone you trust know all the details of all your settings and personal information. You have to do this because it will be a lifesaver later, not only for you but for those around you too. My Father was diagnosed with Alzheimer some 10 yrs ago and believe me when I tell you that failure to let go and supply information to family members cost him and everyone else a lot.
There are lots of knowledgeable folks in the Discussion forums that I'm sure will provide more answers to your questions, but here are mines.
Some answers to your doubts:
1) "I do not need to worry about transfering anything to my new computer, or do I"
- If you've had your old computer for 4 years most likely you have lots of data, applications, documents, pictures, music in it. So yes you have to transfer your things to your new computer. I recommend you buy the MacBook directly at the store and not online. That way you can ask for the One To One service where you can just drop off your old computer — Mac or PC — and they will transfer your files, install any new Apple software you’ve purchased, and put it all in the right places. The Apple Store Genius will be of tremendous help with your new purchase. So you don't have to worry of anything you've asked here.
2) "Everything I have on here, like iTunes, will be on the new one, once I log on..email, another example. Once I put in my email address, will the new computer just find it???"
- iTunes will not redownload your Music, you have to Migrate/Transfer that to your NEW computer. If you use an iPhone/iPad you can redownload your Apps but that is not the case with your music. According to an Apple statement: "When you buy a song, video, iPod Game, or album from the iTunes Store, you are entitled to download it only once."
As far as email: Depending on the type of accounts that you have will depend if you need to transfer from your old computer or not. MobileMe accounts may have email in the cloud. Hotmail/GMail and others alike always have your emails stored at their Servers and once you supply your user/password you should start getting your emails. Now if you have old emails that contain important account information you still want to make sure you get those transferred to your NEW computer. Remember that you may need them if you start forgetting things. Print those emails if you can before transferring them to your NEW computer.
3) "Fear the new computer will ask me questions or want me to enter things I dont know anymore?"
- If you decide to perform the Migration yourself, yes it will ask you things you might not remember. When you buy a NEW Mac it will ask if you want to use Migration Assistant to transfer your things from the OLD computer. The old computer needs to be on and connected to your wireless network, however, it is best if you connect them directly because the transfer time will be painfully long if you have lots of information in your old computer.
4) "It will automatically pick up my wireless network, right?"
- It will ask you to select from a list of detected wireless routers in your area, yours should be in that list. If your router is unprotected then it will not ask you for a password. If it is protected (and of course you always want to have your router password protected) it will ask you for that password.
I hope these answers help you or at least get you started in the right direction. Remember to document everything. -
My used QS G4 came with 10.1 and now I need some answers...
I just purchased a uzed QS Power Mac G4 at my local apple dealer in his annual used mac stuff after the boxing day sale. EDITORIAL COMMENT: In selling these used macs the dealer ship staff always behave as if they are selling stuff out of the trunk of a car in a back alley.

What is the ***** cat name for 10.1? Sort of shows you the age of this machine albeit for me it has potential inexpensive expansion.
After trying this OS X I installed TIGER.
However in my haste I misspelled the name of my little house. What's a fast way to correct the spelling error without using terminal? Or, do I just do an archieval install?
The installer also zapped OS 9 because it said, oh I can't remember what it said.
I assume I can re-install 9 after OS X installation or do I have to install OS 9 first and then OS X TIGER ?
I have some fav midi/audio programmes that were never ported to OS X or those programmes are still my fav.
Also, can I install/use a web cam or iSight ?

Changing the user's shortname is a bit complicated. The easiest solution is to download the freeware utility ChangeShortName from www.macupdate.com. Do NOT simply rename the folder - this will not work.
OS 9 may be installed at any time regardless of whether OS X is already installed or not. You will need a bootable OS 9 installer CD with version 9.1 or higher. You can use a web cam or iSight with that computer. I don't use either so I can't offer a recommendation. Regarding the quality of the recording I assume you are doing this from a turntable? If so you will require something called a pre-amp to get the signal up to 'line level'. In simple terms the signal from the turntable is to low and needs the pre-amp to get it to a signal compatible for the line input.
You should also check the line input on the audigy card with a different source such as with a stereo, walkman etc or if you CD ROM has a headphone out run this to the line input and check the connection.

let me explain a lil. The program is actually a daemon. It works fine. In the body run, that's the thingy which did string token. It works fine. But
i am creating something that will split (1a) into 2 piece, and another will spilt the other piece.
The senario, the daemon will receive a string, like "*abcde,1,2,3,hello%"
where * = STX (ASCII 02) and % ETX (ASCII 03)
the first loop will eliminate the STX, then seggregate the text to a loop, for example a=abcde, b=1, c=3, d=hello%.
*what i managed to do is only string token the normal characters, not the ASCII characters
then the final loop will grab strtoken the % char.
i have been trying tht for 1 whole days.. n e ideas guys ?

Alright guys I need some help here with itunes and my music files
Basically, I've had two apple accounts in the past like 4 years. One day I connect my Ipod touch to my computer and downloaded an update from Itunes, not knowing that it erases all your content. I didnt have my music files backed up either, so I ended up losing over $300 worth of music and apps. Ever since then I never updated my touch, from the fear of losing my music. Now that I have my own apple account, I have music files from the first account and my account. My question is how can I back both of these groups of files up and update my ipod without losing any of this content!? I would really appreciate a step by step process etc. Thanks guys for helping me out!

I just recently purchased a 30 gb iPod. The trouble is that I have an old laptop with very little storage space such that I am unable to download large size files (videos and such). I was wondering whether it was possible to download fiels directly to an iPod rather than downloading through a computer. I am using a free file sharing website and would like to transfer files directly to my iPod rather than downloading to my laptop first. Is this possible and how can it be done? Also, if you could let me know any other free file-sharing websites that would be great.

How to use Premiere Pro for live shoots (newbie needing some answers)
My school is about to delve into the world of live streaming. We have a homemade Tricaster setup of sorts which allows for us to use three camcorders through as switcher which allows for some nice streaming capabilities.
My question is, how do I use Premiere Pro, or something else, to run live titles/graphics, etc. into the production? You know, things like lower thirds, etc.?
Is this as simple as running another computer into a source on the switcher? If so, how do I get the graphics etc. to appear as simple key pages?
Sorry, I've never used Adobe during a live shoot before.
I'd love for someone in the know to explain the workflow here. Thank you so much!
I'd also be interested in knowing best practices for running b-roll into the switcher. PP again? Same computer as the graphics or a seperate one?I dont't 'know anything from Adobe that could do this.

Buying a K8N Neo 4 Platinum mobo - need some answers

Like I said, I'm getting the MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum and need to know:
1. Does it support NCQ?
2. Can I use "PDP SYSTEMS Memory Dual Channel Kit 184-Pin 1GB (512MBx2) DDR PC-3200, Model PDC1G3200LLK" with it?
(And have it working @ 2-3-2-5-T1 Dual Channel like it should without OC)
2.1 Can I use 4 dimms of this memory without going down to 333mhz?
3. I'll also get a 6600GT, DVD-RAM,DVD-ROM, 200GB HD - which PSU I should go with?

For example, a MacBook are often touted as "bulletproof" and might be better if you're planning on taking the computer with you as you hike through Europe knowing it might get dinged and banged around a bit. But if you want to do high-end graphics and videos, then you probably want a pro.
Is it for taking notes while in college or for work at an architectural firm? What will you be doing with it? Also, have you checked out both in person? Because, as said, there is also a matter of taste involved (assuming that cost is not that big an issue).
