Handling ATO Scenario through PS
Hello,
I have a typical scenario where in the WBS structure is not matching the execution structure.
The example is of a Heavy industry where in components are produced in modules and assembled according to the Design needs later. Different Modules are grouped together into a single WBS to consolidate requirement and trigger procurement, later these modules are assembled and sent as an Assembly which contains modules from different WBS.
One of the solutions thought was to create 2 sets of WBS structure, one to carry out procurement and one for assembly.
Can somebody help me map this particular scenario through PS

If the total idea is only to control the cost through WBS element then U try 21 Stratergy in MRP3 for that salable good & collective ind 1. then
1. if the product is expected to be Dispatched against sales order through VL01n then
Add the material in WBS activity for planning only by setting action indicator as Never (1)
After MRP run observer the reservation to be for Sales roder & account assigned to WBS
When the material is procured/produced the cost will be booked against wbs element but sales order stock will be generated wihch can be dispatched
2. if you procure the material against Project then convert the stock to unrestricted then sale and or consume material against Network. Further generating stock from WBS/cost center is not a standard practice.

How to handle multiple connection through JCO

My requirement is as follows:

> I have multiple users (different Users on SAP System).
> I need to execute BAPI/Module Functions through these multiple users.
Example:
Users: A and B
User A has logged in from a remote location
User B has logged in from a another remote location
both users have logged in through SAP system Login Ids
Two JCo Connections should be created and all the request from User A must use Connection A and request from B must use Connection B.
> The connection should be created at first time when user login first time.
How can I handle this scenario through JCo or other way. I have multiple BAPI/ModuelFunction which I need to execute but with User specific.

DLFL for Prod Orders - ATO Scenario
Hi Experts,
Basically im an Finance guy. I am facing difficulty in setting up DLFL status for order types of ATO scenario. We have the typical scenario of creation of sales order, triggiring planned order and converted to production order, and the goods are delivered to customer and the invoice is booked. All the costs relevant are settled to the production order and not to the sales order. At month end we run wip, variance and then settle the orders and close down the orders.
When i try to set DLFL through CO02, the deletion flag active indicator is greyed out, i tried other alternative of CO78, the orders are not picking at all. Im not sure how to handle this scenario.
When i spoke to PP consultant, they say for these order types when there is a link between sales order and production order, the DLFL cant be set in CO02 or CO78, meaning not in production order. It seems the flag as to be set in sales order where the production order is linked. But i dont see any provision in sales order of setting the DLFL flag. They also said, its because of the costs settled to production order.
Im not sure, is this the way SAP is desinged or is there any other alternative.
Has anybody come across this scenario, please help me out. How to handle in these scenarios?

Design Suggestion required in handling a scenario with three systems.
Hi All,
Here is my scenario.
Legacy(Sync)->PIAsync->CRM-Async>PI--Async->BI
1. Legacy will send synchronous message to PI.
2. PI will send response back to Legacy with simple message "OK Status".
3. PI will map the Request message to CRM Idoc and send to CRM in Async mode.
4. Once Idoc is posted (53), I need to map the same request message(from legacy) to BI Idoc and pass to BI system.
The condition is I should not pass the BI Idoc untill CRM idoc is posted.
Can someone suggest me the steps to handle this scenario.

5. Once the correleation is correct, I need to pass the Idoc to BI. This will be map3.
Map1: Request from Legacy to response message of legacy.
Map2: Request from Legacy to CRM Idoc1.
Map3: Request from Legacy to BI Idoc.

I'm not sure how to handle this task. DO I need to get separate Idoc with the confirmation status from CRM? Will it be in Async mode?

We have following scenario :
We created a Production Order (type PP01) for 1 piece of Component 'X' . The Order was confirmed using Co11n and subsequently MB31 (GR) was done for the Order . An Inspection Lot got created after the GR . During Inspection , it was found that Processed Material need some Rework and Quality Inspector posted the Compopnent under BLOCK Stock during the UD .
Now we need to start Rework on this Component . Pl guide us what steps need to be followed for completing the Rework cycle .
I have gone thru many of posting available in this forum related to REWORK , where it has been suggested to make a PP03 type Order in CO07 .
But I fail to understand that following issues in this :
a) How to issue faulty Compponent to Rework Order
b) How to clear the Stock from earlier BLOCK Stock
c) How to bring Stock back after Rework Order is confirmed and Inspected .
I request you to kindly help me pl .

THis is how we handle the scenario in our place..
There are two types.
1. Repairing done by external persons or subcontractors..
2. Refurbishment done inside the plant.
The second is done by the production department..
The Refurbishment process is bit different from other production processes..
The Defective material is received from different locations to the stores through MIGO.
Here we will specify from and to locations of the defective Assemblies..
The TO storage location is RMMS.. Here the valuation tye is SF-DEF..
The refurbishment order is created in IW81.
Order type is PM04
In the Header, Refurbishment tab page is Important..The from to details have to given promptly(from val type defective to val type repaired)..
Then the other things are like your usual production order..
The GI is done in MB11,261 movement..(Against the order)
After the execution is done, in MIGO goods issue is done with movement 531..Receipt of byproduct. the material is now converted from DEF to REP..
Components issue has to be as followed.In the components tab , the materials to be issued has to given as usual. and the same materials has to be mentioned again as -1.It means you are taking away the defective components and adding the good ones...
Confirmation is done on IW41..

Issue with oracle.odi.sdk.invocation package to run scenario through PL/SQL

I am new to call ODI scenario through PL/SQL.
Actually just to test I tried following code-
1. create or replace and compile java source named "Run_Scen_DCP"
as

If an Invoice gets posted on 25.04.2011t the invoice should get posted on 20.06.2011 (20th June)
Can anybody suggest how to achieve this.

in OBB8, you Create a Payment Term Varian eg. G001.
1. to achieve your 1 requirment do create as following.
Give Day Limit as 24 and in (Default for Baseline date -you can select document date or posting date as per your requirment)
you can Select either Vendor or customer as Per your Requirment.
Under Payment Terms give 20 under Fixed date and 1 under Addtional Months.you can give Own explanation as Due on the 20th of Next month. Save it.
2. to achieve your 2 requirment create as below
copy the Variant G001 and change the DAY Limit as 31
Under Payment Terms give 25 under Fixed date and 2 under Addtional Months.you can give Own explanation as Due on the 25th of the Following month
by the above way you can achieve your requirments.
Wht Happens once you create a payment term as above is for the invoices posted on or before 24th , the due date will be 20th of next month and for the invoices posted inbetween 25 to 31 ,the due date will be 25 of the following Month. save it

Handling special characters through proxy
Hi Gurus,
we hvae a scenario sap to file, sending material information from SAP through outbound prpxy and palcing that detaisl in FTP loation using file adapter.
Here probelm is one of the fields desc and text we are passing material Description and basic text which may have special characters like # @ µ while these cahractrs coming to XI itselfthey are convering as #0 and giving soem fatal error in XI whaich is unabel to parse in XI mapping and end up with mapping error.
One more thing the if i use test the interface in dev and qa with the same characters these are working fine only failing in prod.
please suggest how to procedd furthur.. whhetehr there is any place to check this special charatcres ecoding, uncode maintned at r/3 side or side side.

How to Handle RMA Requests through EDI?
Hi Folks,
I have a quick question.
In general, how do RMA Requests are handled through EDI.
I don't want RMA requests created in SAP (through VA01) send via EDI.
How can i handle this situation.

By default any web server can will have a thread pool to handle client req's.
In your point also heavy burden to server you are telling that depends on this.
we can configure this min & max size of this thread pool.
by default it will be 0-1000 for tomcat server.
I am not sure in which file this configuration will be.
But I hope in server.xml or some xml file consists this info.
If You what you can edit accordingly. to overcome your heavy burden to server.

We need to take the material master data from R/3 to CCM.
IS there any XI scenario available for this?
If Yes...where can i find it?
IF No...How much time will it take to develop such a scenario?

I have emailed this to you.
The senario you want in MasterDataInclusionInCaralogOnWAS700 (or 640 dependant).
Once the material have been replicated from R3 you run transaction BP_CCM_TRANSFER to transfer these to CCM. This then goes through XI into your CCM catalog, and in need you can publish these automatically.
