Hap_document sicf services

Hi all,
I have activated the HAP-DOCUMENT in SICF and can be able to see in SICF.
When I execute it, throughs me an error like
BSP Exception: Das Objekt default.htm in der URL /sap/bc/bsp/sap/hap_document/default.htm?sap-client=100&sap-sessioncmd=open ist nicht gültig.
It is very urgent and can u give me the step by step process to go ahead.
Points will be rewarded for the answers.
Thank you.

Can you please tell me how you fixed this?  I am having the same error.
Thanks,
Kenneth

  • SICF Service not available in Production

    Hi Experts,
I have created a Webdynpro application and I have moved it to quality and Production systems respectivelly.
In development and quality system it is working fine, but the same application in production gives a runtime error. It is showing SICF service is not available.
I have checked in SICF Tcode, but the service for the particular Webdynpro application is not available.
How can I resolve this issue.

  • Load Balancing in SICF Service

    Hi,
I have set Up Load Balancing for a Logon Group in the SICF service.
In transacion SMMS, the parameter ms_Service_port_xx is maintained for HTTP for each server in the landscape.
Is this all I have to do for Load Balancing or there is any additional settings ?
Also, how to use the Session Timeout parameter in the SICF service (Just below Load Balancing )
    Thanks
    Anand

    Hello,
The Logon group in SICF does not do any load balancing by itself.
HTTP Load balancing is the job of the SAP web dispatcher which connects with HTTP to the message server to get the information about application servers and logon groups.
You can also use directly the message server bu it is a bad solution because it's not really load balancing but merely redirects. A browser shortcut would redirect always to the same application server.

  • WD ABAP SICF services

Under SICF if I find a WD ABAP service, how can I change it. Do I copy the service or is there a way to create the service?
    Thanks
    Mikie

What are you wanting to change?  The security settings perhaps.  It this is a customer created Web Dynpro ABAP application then you can edit the SICF service settings directly.  However if this is an SAP delivered WDA, then you should create a serivce node alias for the node and change the alias to avoid having your changes overwritten in a futue updates.

  • SICF Services - All active services and audit trail

We have upgraded one of our client environment from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 - Ehp4 and activated SICF services for Portal applications. We are using ESS, MSS, ECM and HR Admin for Portal and during setup we activated several services.
I was wondering if their is any way to find out all activated services and we can audit who activated all services from backend from ERP 6.0.
    Thanks,
    Miral.

As per SAP "Note 1555208 - ICF services become inactive after upgrade or SP update" we can find the list of active services along with path using the report RS_ICF_SERV_ADMIN_TASKS
SA38 --> RS_ICF_SERV_ADMIN_TASKS --> Export of Active Services into CSV file

    Hello experts,
I would like to know which SICF services are <u><b>required</b></u> in EBP. For security reasons, we can't activate entire trees, and I couldn't find any documentation on this (I only found it for SUS).
We are using SRM 5.0 (with SRM Server 5.5), using Plan-Driven Procurement with Plant Maintenance scenario (including SRM-MDM catalog and attachments)
    Thanks for your valuable information.

  • SICF Services

I wonder if it is a good practice to leave all SICF services activated if we are using GRC / any other BSP enabled component ?
If not, what can possibly be the harm of keeping all services on ?
    Thanks,

You should also consider that the service tree and nodes are hierarchical and cascade the authentication credentials.
    Only activate those you need.
If a solution suggests activating everything then report it to SAP or to secure at sap dot com (security response team for internal security problems).
    Cheers,

  • SICF Services to be activated for SRM 7.0

    Hi Guys,
I am collecting list of all SICF services to be activated for SRM7.0
    1) SAP -->BC -->WebDynpro -->sapsrm --> activate all services
    2) SAP -->SAPSRM --> activate all services
    3) SAP -->BC -->WebDynpro >SAP> POWL --> Activate services
    4) SAP -->BC -->bsp -->sapsrm --> Activate services
Apart from this are there any other services to be activated for SRM 7.0?
    Regards,

    Hi Ashish,
Why dont you use the standard report W3PUBLISHALL for activating alll the SICF at once .. No harm in Publishing all SICF pages in SRM 7.0

  • SICF services required for e-mail functionality in Web IC

We are running a web ic in CRM 2007 sp4
I have inbound e-mails coming through our inbox in our web ic.  However as soon as i trying to process the e-mails from the inbox i'm getting errors.  No mail body text is visible in email component and when i try and forward an e-mail or create a new e-mail i get a JRE error (buttom-left of IE).
Can anyone tell me what services need to be enabled for email functionality to work?
Or can anyone recommend any other soultion to this issue
    Thanks in advance

Also please explore the option of "Email Response management system" in SPRO for advance email service settings.
    1. assign different agents to different e-mail addresses: It will be configurable.
    2. different signatures when writing e-mail need different editor profiles (default signatures)? so also need different IC profile?
Yes you will need different IC profiles and assign it to the group of agents who would comply to it.
    3.  outbound e-mails -> Told you what i believe shoudl work.
    4. how many services (tcode SICF) and how many SAPconnect nodes are needed to be able in ICWin to receive e-mails for 10 email addresses and distribute e-maild to different agents like I wrote in point 1. ?
      ONLY one SAPConnect node.
    5. incoming e-mails: We really need tyo check the ACTIVITY Type: Incoming email.
    6. in ICwin user can search in e-mails with key words? for eg "problem with ht-1000"?
I m really not sure, as we are maintaing an Activity for Incoming or outgoing email, we should be able to search an Activity for BP (that activity can have email details).
    7. incoming e-mails can have attachements? attachements will also get to ICWin with email? user will be able to open it?
Yes however for opening attachments you may have internet security concerns of the enterprise where SAP is implemented. It can be easily handled by networking people.
    Hope there is some help
    thanks,

  • Testing SICF services in WAS 6.20

How can we test the ICF services in WAS 6.20 servers. In WAS 6.40 we have an option 'Test' by right cliking on the Services in SICF. The same option is not available in 6.20 systems.
We have tried using the URL and testing the service but the page does not get loaded.
Sure that the service is not working properly, but can anyone help us on how to debug or fix this problem in SICF WAS 6.20 systems.
    Amar

    Hi Jay,
Yes, it is possible in Web AS 6.20 to expose BAPIs as Web services. You find the exact documentation of how to do this in the SAP Service Marketplace: http://service.sap.com/connectors. Then go to "SOAP Processor" --> "Media Library". However, the wizard that helps you create the Web service is not yet available in 6.20.

  • SICF service unable to use Global Settings for System Logon configuration

    Hi,
I've create a bespoke Web Dynpro application, and have changed the appearance of the login screen.
(Within transaction SICF, select the service, then choose Error Pages, System Login, Configuration).
When I modify the settings using "Define Service-Specific Settings", it all works fine, i.e. I get the correct layout template, MIME graphics and display elements.
As these settings are generic and can be applied to other Web Dynpro applications, I thought it would be a good idea to make these settings Global.  "Save as Global Settings" works fine - I am then able to pick up these settings when viewing a different service.  However when actually trying to logon, the logon page is the default Netweaver one rather than the modified one that I have specified in the Configuration page.
There's no mention in the Help of any other steps that you need to perform in order to use Global Settings, but I think there must be something else I've missed as it completely ignores my settings when the "Use Global Settings" is selected, yet the settings themselves are perfectly fine as the login screen is correct when the settings are Service-Specific.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance,
    Vindaloo

  • SICF service not migrated

    Hi Gurus.
Earlier when we created an application, SICF node was created and when we migrated it, it was migrated correctly.
Now something strange is happening. Node is created, it is captured in the TR also. But when we migrate it to UAT environment, the SICF node is not there.
We capture it again in another TR and send it over, then it is okay.
What can be the reason for SICF node to disappear, or not to be migrated even though it is in TR?
    Thanks in adv.
