Hardware accelerated views have been disabled because they are not compatible with remote desktop

Just started getting this error after updating to CC and latest NVIDIA drivers:
I don't run Remote Desktop. After this message appears, the checkbox in my preferences is disabled:
If I reboot my computer, the checkbox is again enabled, but then the error message about the remote Desktop appears, not right away, but after several minutes.
Details:
Windows 7 Pro
Intel i7 CPU X980 @ 3.3GHz
24GB RAM
GeForce GTX 680, Driver 320.49
AE CC 12.0.0.404

So, as a test, I did the following:
Launched Adobe After Effects CC.
Looked at "Preferences" -> "Display" -> "Hardware Accelerate Composition......" ... it is enabled
Locked my workstation. [Windows key - L] I don't have a screensaver ... just plain black.
Typed my password to unlock. The dialog box shown at the top of this thread appears.
Closed AE.
Re-launched AE.
The option in Preferences is unchecked, but it is selectable.
So, that is MUCH more convenient thatn having to reboot the machine. Don't get me wrong here ... it's still annoying. It's especially annoying because I developed the (good) habit of locking my workstation whenever I walk away from it. During a typical work day, I may lock/unlock my workstation ten times ... or more.

I have looked around and others have said to delete a certain preference file but they did not give the file location

Which particular .msi file does the message go on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files might be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

To answer that question you would have to ask those companies.
To get around the issue, you could always install the older versions of those apps that do support iOS4, if you still have them or can find them.

Anybody, have this error. I don't why this is occurring. Everytime I try to paste a table inside another one (nesting) I get this error saying I can't.
The two fixes:
1. was to save the file as WORD 97-2002 RTF (*.doc) paste the nested table, save it back to rtf
or
2. draw the table inside the other table.
both methods are super annoying....

The requirements for Shark Dash say that it requires a 3rd-generation or 4th-generation iPod touch. It won't install nor run on a 2nd-gen iPod touch. Check the requirements for the other apps you can't get to load; I'll wager they similarly are not compatible with the 2nd-generation iPod touch.
And if you have a 2nd-gen iPod touch, you don't have iOS 5.1, so you probably will want to correct your profile information. I'd also suspect that your other iPod really isn't a 2nd-generation unit.

If you bought them on your iPad then they should have downloaded into the iPad's Videos app - is that where you are looking for them ?
If they aren't there then have you tried searching for them via the iPad's spotlight search screen ? Pull down the centre of the home screen in iOS 7, swipe your first home screen to the right in iOS 6 and below.
If that doesn't find them either, and they don't show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for redownloading (films won't show there in all countries), then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Firefox 5.0.1 would cause my Free Download Manager to be disabled because it is not compatibl with the new version. What ones are compatible and free?

I have received a pop-up advisory from Firefox several times, saying that my Free Download Manager is not compatible with the recommended 5.0.1 upgrade and wold have to be disabled until the compatibility problem was corrected.
(I think that I did download it, and that was when I got the first warning. I visited my download m manager shortly afterward, and all my download history had disappeared. I think that I then reversed the upgrade.)
Since then, my emails will load only in Basic HTML, which I have several problems with. I don't know if that is a Google or a Firefox problem.
So, my initial problem is that I need a reliable and easy to use free downloader before I can upgrade and get my Standard HTML back.

I have had this problem for a while since I did a previous Firefox update, where I had to force Gmail to load in Basic HTML else it's next to impossible to use it. That is absolutely correct .Acrobat 9 pro is not compatible with Windows 7 .It might lead to certain conflicts while the downloading is in process .

If you are using raw files, which camera (make and model) do you use to create the raw files?

WOT and Webutation is showing as disabled when they are not

WOT and Webutation is showing as disabled when they are not .The icons show,but no color on icons. Says WOT is disabled when its not. Also the same on Webutation. Tried uninstalling then reinstalled both and the same thing happened. Tried Wot on another users account and theirs work. Can someone help me on these issues?

ED is generally considered to be 576p or 480p, but this is not universally accepted and these resolutions are often accepted as HD also. Additionally an ED signal uses non square pixels just as SD does so the horizontal pixel dimensions should be no more than 720. Exactly how the tv would treat these resolutions I don't know (yet).
If you have a copy of the source code for the function that displays the HD icon, please post it so I can take a look at it.
Why should I have such a copy and why is it relevant. The issue here is that the OP believes his video is incorrectly labelled HD which is not the case. There may or may not be anomalies in the way the tv attributes the HD label to some files (although it isn't the case for me), however the OP has incorrectly converted his source video and they are no longer SD, they are also not ED by whichever definition you wish to apply and any such anomalies should they exist are not responsible for the OP's files being labelled HD.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
No answers here, but you are definitely not alone with this issue.
