Has anyone else experienced blue screens and continuous reboots on 5S
I picked up my silver 5S 32 GB at the Verizon store Friday morning. Throughout the morning I noticed that I would hit the home button and it would be powered down. I loaded the .1 patch assuming maybe it was a glitch. I went through the rest of the day with a couple more home button/powered down situations. When I got I home, I plugged it in to iTunes to recover a backup and following the restore it went into blue screen reboot cycle. I performed the soft reset and restored the backup 3 times with the same results. The soft reset was the only means to stop the reboot cycle. I then tried 3 times doing a restore from the cloud with the exact same results. Finally I did a from scratch install thinking my backups were bad. It would stay up awhile but then eventually go into the blue screen and reboot. Sometimes the cycle wouldn't occur in that it would boot up to Home screen following the blue screen. I took the phone to the Apple store the next day, they looked it over, witnessed the blue screen and confirmed there was an issue. I then went to the Verizon store and swapped it for a Space Grey 32GB. I experienced the exact same cycle with the grey so I called Apple. I have spent 3+ hours working through this with a very helpful agent. Turns out a have 2 bad ones in a row! The way I can almost instantly get it to go to blue screen is clicking the Photos icon. Now I am waiting on a second replacement at the Apple store. We have done the soft reset, the hard reset, and the phone restore so we know now that the backup had nothing to do with it as I can do a restore and still have it blue screen after clicking Photos. Anyone seeing anything like this?
Searching for others who might have the same problem increases your chance of finding a solution. Common sense in troubleshooting devices dictates you look for others who might have the same problem in hopes someone already has a solution. Your comment is irrelevant and leads one to think you are spoiling for an argument. Why???

Has anyone else experienced the stopping and starting again whil playing music in itunes. It was working fine wit the prior fix, but after the last update
it started skipping again.Try it in another vehicle see if it still happens, at least you can narrow it down to your phone or the car. My 4s play totally fine, I have never had any of those issues. Maybe its time to restore your phone and start over. I would also have someone else play their Iphone in your car, see if it happens to them. Or try yours in someone elses car. Good Luck!

Has anyone else experienced InDesign CC and 2014 crashing when using Data Merge?
I have already tried the Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Cmd keystroke upon start-up and saying "yes" to clearing the preferences, but unlike previously where this solved the issue (a few months back, until Adobe released an update which meant this was no longer needed) this hasn't worked. I have also tried using both a CSV and a TXT file as the source file, same crash.
Anyone found a solution? I am using Mac OSX.9. Same thing happens on a colleagues Mac, so isn't my machine.This is about all the information I could provide, hence why I was asking a general question. If I'd known what steps to take I wouldn't be asking. I have solved the problem, it seemed to be the InDesign file, not the data file.

I have an Iphone 5 16 gig on the Sprint network and since i've updated my ios, it now jumps in and out of cellular service. I was told that you can revert back to 8.0.0 but i can not find a way of doing that. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a fix?

If you are still having trouble with the text appearing as you type after following those steps, you may want to try turning off Documents & Data under your iCloud settings. On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then tap to turn off Documents and Data.

my phone is an iphone 4 and after the update to ios7.0.4 yesterday, i have lost all email facility. I dont have any email icon or button across the bottom of the phone which sits next to the phone, safari and music buttons. Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks in advance

The Mail app cannot be deleted, so it is there somewhere. Look at all of your other Home screens to see if you can find it.
If you cannot, do a spotlight search to see if it got accidently moved into a folder: swipe down in the center of the screen to bring up the search bar - type in Mail - you should see the Mail icon in the search results. If it got moved into a folder, you will see the folder name on the right side. If it is in a folder, open the folder, and tap and hold the Mail icon until it wiggles, then slide it out and back to the place where you want it to be.
If that doesn' work, you can also go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will move all of your icons into the original order that they were on the phone. You may have to move stuff around after this to where you want it to be, but all of the Apple system apps will be on the first Home screen.

When I got a new iPhone5, I experienced short battery life, and system sofware issues were not the cause. The camera also takes a blury picture regardless of lighting and I have the black one. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
What makes you so sure it isn't software?
The camera can be focused by take the point of focus on the touch screen.
If it is new as you said, it should be under warranty. Make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple with a repair request. -

You realize that Mail App checks for mail every time it's opened and that the fetch interval you set applies only to background checks when the app is closed, right? -
I have tried to order a photo book. Both times it uploaded images etc and then after payment details a message pops up saying this album couldn't be processed. Please try again. Has anyone else experienced this? Can the photo books be printed in store?

I have a Mac mini (mid-2010) with 5GB of RAM and running OS X Lion 10.7.2 and lately I've been noticing it crash and take me directly to the login screen. After I sign back in everything reboots to where I left off. I believe the problem is related to Safari. I normally have many instances of Safari browser windows open and I'm wondering if that might be the issue? Is anyone else experiencing this problem and have they found any remedies?
Note the time it freezes. That upon next successful start open the Console app in the Utilities folder and look for associated log entries at that time and post them here

After doing a software update for iPhoto, some of the photos in my library appear distorted and stretched. I have tried repairing the library, rebuliding and repairing the thumbnails but they are still distorted. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
What upgrade did you apply? As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

I upgraded my operating system to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and now my Lexmark X4875 will not print wirelessly and neither Apple, Lexmark or Belkin can work out why. Has anyone else experienced this and knows what to do? Thanks

I have several songs in my ITunes library that show as ineligible to be uploaded to ICloud via Match, even though most of them were purchased through the ITunes Store. Has anyone else experienced this and figured out why?
I had the exact same issue!! Seriously p*ssed me off when I checked out my ITunes purchased items (via my computer) and noticed that most of the additional tracks listed on my IPhone playlist was listed there too. However, I never authorized any purchases!! (I have actually written Apple Support asking for a full refund of all tracks listed on my purchased list)
Be careful when you swipe your finger to the left/right on those "additional" tracks on your IPhone playlist... I'm pretty sure that the cloud symbol is an option to download or automatically buy those tracks.
Solution for the problem:
1 - go to your IPhone settings
2 - choose "iTunes & App Store"
3 - go to "Show All" & "Music"
4 - turn off "Music" by moving the bar to the left (it should be a white color once you turn it off)

Symptoms
A purplish or other colored flare, haze, or spot is imaged from out-of-scene bright light sources during still image or video capture.
Resolution
Most small cameras, including those in every generation of iPhone, may exhibit some form of flare at the edge of the frame when capturing an image with out-of-scene light sources. This can happen when a light source is positioned at an angle (usually just outside the field of view) so that it causes a reflection off the surfaces inside the camera module and onto the camera sensor. Moving the camera slightly to change the position at which the bright light is entering the lens, or shielding the lens with your hand, should minimize or eliminate the effect.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!
