has a set of commands to work witha system connected to the MS windows PC. when I trype the commands in Hyperterminal (with/without ) they are yielding the expected results.
in LabVIEW, to get the expected results I MUST has to type 'each character' in the command Twice(except blank space) in the Open VISA test panel (viWrite/viRead). If I give the command is given the usual way(with each character typed only once), the result always is 'illegal command'.....the same works fine in the Hyperterminal.

What confused Ashwin is that you said "In LabVIEW". OK, so you're using the MAX test panel. There's one thing that's not clear. You said "when I trype the commands in Hyperterminal (with/without )". With/without what? How is your Hyperterminal session configured? Have you tried something like PortMon to see what's actually being sent from the serial port driver?

No I have my own iPhone iPad and MacBook so everything is set up on devices that are mine and as far as I know I never connected to anyone else's device and logged with my apple ID. But are you saying it is possible for someone to have obtained my apple ID and send an iMessage from their device with my contact information so it looks like it came directly from me? Invalid character error while activating data in DSO.

Hi Experts,
We are facing an issue with presence of invalid characters in data from source. This throws SID generation error while activating data in DSO. Long text of error shows like this:
"Value " ĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠĠ" (HEX 000D0120012001200120012001200120012001200120012001) of characteristic contains an error at position 1"
Also we've tried adding the character " Ġ " in TCode RSKC, but it then shows as a rectangle box which I'm not able to copy manually(looks like a blank space or something of that sort).
We've tried implementing routine to remove special characters while loading data, but still it fails. Due to huge amounts of data, its practically unfeasible to check each record manually.
Any useful suggestions will be acknowledged.

We are using following code for the same purpose. U can use it at infoobject level mapping. This code will check value of each character in the data coming, whether it is in RSKC, if it is a allowed one then it will be passed as it is. Otherwise it will replace that character by space.

How to type "tab" character in terminal?

Hi,
In the terminal, I would like to be able to simply type a literal "tab" character. I know, by default, the tab key is used for auto-completion based on file system (I would like to keep it that way).
I tried several things, nothing seems to work for me:
- Copy-paste an existing tab character within the terminal
- Add keyboard shortcut in the Terminal preferences > Settings > Keyboard (/011)
- Insert 'LINE TABULATION' character from the Terminal > Edit > Special Characters... window
Hopefully, someone has done this before?

You can type any character that has a special meaning in the terminal by preceding it with ^V. So to type a tab character, just type ^V followed by the tab.

Hash Found after each character on application server

Generally there would be not need to bother about .... if its causing any problem then
data: lv_feed type c value CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>CR_LF.
replace all occurances of lv_feed in <your_string> with space.

Cannot type the "@" character

Whenever I try to type the "@" character on one of the Macs in my office I get a modifier key beep and no character. I can't figure out why this is happening or how to fix it. This prevents me from logging on to my .Mac account from this computer. Any ideas? I already tried swapping keyboards with no relief. Must be a software setting somewhere.

Double check system preferences/speech and universal access to make sure this character has not been chosen as the trigger for some special function.

I am deplyoing a solution which has custom web parts- vwp- appln pages, event receivers.
It was working fine till last week. I was able to deploy the solution and able to see the web parts and func. was working.
But now from the last 2 days onwards, when I tried to depoy this soution, I am getting the error

may i know why am getting this error.
note: my dev machine- Win Srvr 2012 - VS 2012- SP 2013 - SP D 2013 was having soem issues with the space in C drive.
once i have done the index reset few months back and i started getting space in C:\ Drive is 0 bytes.
so what my infra. team has done is , increased the space in drive to 150 GB[ it was a VM ].
help is appreciated !

Goto the following regustry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\SharePointTools
Add the following as a DWORD (wont be there by default)
ChannelOperationTimeout
REG_DWORD that specifies the time, in seconds, that Visual Studio waits for a SharePoint command to execute. If the command does not execute in time, a SharePointConnectionException is thrown.
The default is 120 seconds.

Increase the timeout that Visual Studio waits for SharePoint to deploy a feature:
Create: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\SharePointTools] ChannelOperationTimeout DWORD
The value is a timeout in seconds. The default is 120 (2 minutes).

Hi All,
I am using Virtual box to connect to Sharepoint 2013 VPC. Due to an unexpected sutdown of my machine the VPC got some issue. Now I restored it using my bak up file. But after this when I deploy my sharepoint 2013 farm solution Iam getting the following error.
Error occurred in deployment step 'Recycle IIS Application Pool': A communication error has occurred while invoking commands in SharePoint host process: The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature
session shutdown or an internal server error.
What could be the issue? Any suggestions ?

I have 12 core with Quatro 4000 and 5770, I want to use dual monitor setup, monitors are NEC with Spectraview-II. How do I connect? 4000 only has 1 Display Port and 1 DVI. 5770 has 2 of each, if I use both 5770 Display Ports, does the 4000 contribute?

I read where on a PC they would work together, but on a MAC they do not.
I read that Display Port has higher band width than DVI, NEC monitors for best performance they recommend using DIsplay Port.
When I was setting this up I looked at a Nvidia Quadro 4000, unfortunately it was for PC, it had 2 Display Ports, in the Mac version they reduce it to one. I did not think there could be a difference.
Mainly want to use it for CS6 and LR4.
How to proceed???
I do not want to use the Quadro 4000 for both, that would not optimize both monitors, one DP and 1 DVI. Using just the 5770 would work but I do not think the 4000 would be doing anything, and the 5770 has been replaced by the 5870.more bandwidth.
Any ideas, I am a Mac newbie, have not ever tried a Mac Pro, just bought off ebay and now I have these problems.
As a last resort I could sell both and get a 5870. That would work, I'm sure of that, it's just that I wanted the better graphics card.

I am a novice at Mac so I read all I can. From what I understand the NEC monitors I bought require Display Port for their maximum performance. The GTX 680 only has DVI outputs. Difference from what I understand is larger bandwidth with the DP.
You said I have the 4000 for CUDA. I am not all that familiar with CUDA and when I do read about it I do not understand it.
A concern I have is, that if I connect the 2 high end NEC monitors via the 5770, using it's 2 Display Ports I would have nothing connected to the 4000. Is the 4000 doing anything with nothing connected? I read where in a PC system the 2 cards would interact but in a Mac system they do not.
Bottom line, as I see it, the 4000 will not be useful at all to me, since I want a dual monitor set-up.
So far the 5870 seems the best choice, higher band width than the 5770, and it has 2 Display Ports to optimize the NEC monitors.
I'm not sure how fine I am splitting hairs, nor do I know how important those hairs are. I am just trying to set up a really fast reliable system that will mainly be used for CS6 and LR4. Those NEC monitors are supposed to be top notch.

Open Applications and the the Utility folder and then Keychain Access app. In there you will find all the usernames and password that have been saved. For some reason it is not saving those passwords and or not using the ones that have been saved.
This is fairly common with Mac OS X as it happens for no apparent reason just all of a sudden.

For that you need to do offset.
for example one variable called VAR contains string 'HUMERAH'.
if you want each character of that string then you need to decalre as many variable as the number of string.
like
data : var1(1),
var2(1),
var(3),
var(4).
var1 = var+(1).
var2 = var+1(1).
var3 = var+2(1).
var4 = var+3(1).
now var1,var2,var3,var4. contains the single characters.

Go to "control panel" then "add or remove programs". Highlight "Apple software update" Choose "change" click "Repair" This should do the trick. Then download and install iTunes 10.5 again.
