Have been up for 2 days trying to have two versions of Firefox on the same machine because Princeton Review only supports 2.0 and my laptop upgraded me to 4.o can you please help?
When I try to access the interactive sites on Princeton Review I politely receive this message:

IMO, you are better off installing - [http://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20P.E.%20Legacy/Mozilla%20Firefox%2C%20Portable%20Edition%202.0.0.20%20Repack/FirefoxPortableLegacy20_2.0.0.20_English.paf.exe/download Firefox Portable 2.0.0.20] - to your hard drive for the few web sites that are so out of date that they don't support newer versions of Firefox. That way you don't need to fool around with a separate Profile for 2.0.0.20, and there is less chance of a another version / Profile of Firefox getting "contaminated" by that old version or you losing private data if your get the Profiles switched.

Whenever i connect my iPhone5, it starts to sync. later when it reaches the 4th stage of 'Tranferring Purchases' it stops and says me to Authorize my computer.
But i had already authorized it and even signed my apple id.
Moreover, i have only authorized 1 out of my 5 computers.

What "child lock" are you talking about?
Do you mean you set up a Managed account (Parental Controls), or some other software?
For Parental Controls, select the account in Users & Groups and uncheck the "Enable parental controls" checkbox. -
I seem to be running two versions of firefox at the same time help!
I seem to be running an older version and a new version of firefox at the same time. I run the new version from startup (it forgets previous tabs from last session) and this sadly does not let me use back and forward arrow buttons so its a bit useless. Strangely when I pop an email window up, the older version of firefox appears with the last few tabs I had browsed.
disabling plugins stops browser starting in new version and back and forward arrows work ok.

In order to use both versions, you need to create a new profile for Firefox 4 (Firefox stores user data in the profile). Using the same profile with different versions can cause problems. Once you create a new profile you can copy certain data such as bookmarks and passwords between them. You can also use Firefox Sync to keep the profiles synchronized. Finally, you will need to set up shortcuts to launch the correct profile for each version.

Probably a dumb question but can I have two versions of Firefox on my system at the same time?
The reason is because of Add Ons that are not compatible with v4. I'd like to be able to close v4 when I need to use an Add On in v3.

The people I am messaging have the ipod touch and iphone and have wi-fi! I have no idea whats going on with it! It worked fine the other night and then boom stopped working. Any other advice?

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?Hey maryncomiskey,

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. Try a different port on the computer.
Does the iphone beep when u plug it up. ?
Plug iphone into computer and give it 3 to 4 minutes to see if it connects and is running slow.,
Delete the apple mobile device from your computer.
Upgrade itunes to newest version.
Is you USB cord defective ?
Any USB 3.0 on your system ? .
Delete or Disable any antivirus program on your computer ?
I will tell u the problem is your computer not the phone.
