Have problem with I touch wifi setup
Hi,
I setup my wireless router at home with the wep key.
I check out the setting, I could not find anyway to enter the key.
How can I enter the wep key to the i touch?
Could someone help me on this?

dood join the club. this pos is going back to apple. I got one of these for xmas ..cant connect to shyt.
Oddly ..have 2 windows mobile devices and have absolutely zero problems connecting to anything and everything and this itouch wont connect to anything.
For the price of this thing ..it should work flawlessly out of the box..but it doesn't. I shouldnt have to turn off wireless security to use this ...and then letting neighbors steal my internet service along with all my files and such. Anyone that even suggests turning off the security of your wireless network is either dumb or just naive.

I just got my phone few days ago at apple store. So far everything is fine but the Touch ID button. I assigned my right thumb print, it worked for about 5 times, then the phone can not recognize it anymore. I thought maybe it was my finger print but it wasn't. I have had the same issue in the last 10 days, fingerprints not being recognized. The phone has also been acting funky, with the random shut-off hard reboot to get it back syndrome also. I will be calling apple support and having them send me another one, then refunding my CC.
This is not acceptable, and there are software issues that need to be resolved. -

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- I would start with
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

certainly strange. Some questions to help with the diagnostics;
Which TrackPoint cap you you have on your keyboard, soft domed, soft rim or classic domed (the hairy one)?
Can you try disabling the TrackPoint to see the problem goes away?
Anything else laid on top of the system or between screen and keyboard like a thin cloth or something?

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow. -
Why my iPhone 5s's wifi have problem with wifi on iOS 8.0.2?
MMy iPhone 5s and also my iPhone 6 plus and iPad 3, all have the latest update(8.0.2) but all of me have problem with wifi and gilt hung all the time! Wifi most of the time is not working and we have to use laptop or using phone data, obviously I don't want to use my data in home so , I want this problem solve as soon as possible. My iPad is glitching all the time, my iPhone's most the time.
aand please don't tell me it's my wifi modem because I know it's not, I have been tested my modem with all other devices!Ok. Have you tried restarting your phone? Hold sleep wake button until slide to power off appears - slide to power off. Turn it back on and retest.

Reset the device:

You may have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim

Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
