I have a problem with the indicator for power on the side of my HP DV6-1341el. Insert the adapter's power jack on the notebook in front of the LED battery charging works, windows detects that the battery is charged, but if I use the diagnostic programs, they tell me they found that the computer is running on battery power and not AC mode.

the problem is not the exported xls. If you have a look inside with Notepad or something like that, you will see that your leading zeros are exported correct.Excel-settings occurs this problem, it is all about how to open the document. If you use the import-assistant you will have no problems because there are options available how to handle the different columns.
Another solution might be to get familiar with ABAP2XLS-Project. I got in my mind, that there is a method implemented, that will help you solving this problem. But that is not a five minute job

Problems with the Search for room content

Hi,
I face a problem configuring the search for room content using KM search iView (com.sap.km.Search).
I found the chapter Configuring the Search for Room Content in the help. So I set up the following things :
1- I assign the room_id iView parameter to the roomid room parameter (in the template)
2- I added room_cm_search component to the component set (I added it at the bottom of the "component for basic search function")
3- I select the entry "Folder" as the default search scope in the search option set. I specify a root folder for search as well.
But it doesn't work properly. It always returns "no result found". And if I add the room_cm_search component at the top of the "component for basic search function", It runs the search on all the documents of the default search scope, and not only on the room documents.
Can you please tell me the right way to configure the search for room content using the com.sap.km.Search iView ?
I work on EP 7.0 SP 10.

Hi Loic,
the Room Content Search iView is a special Search iView that is filtering for documents that were created in the Room Context (all documents get a specific metadata that is keeping the roomiD) . The easiest thing is to use the standard iView used for the delivered templates from SAP.
I would advise to use the iView that is already preconfigured for a room template or part template and can be found and referenced in your template from the following path: Portal Content ->com.sap.ip.collaboration--> TemplateAndPartContent --> Generic -->iViews and take the iView "Search Room"
If you reference that iView in your room template or room part template, you have to think about the correct configuration in the template configuration iView. Just take as example the configuration of the part template "SAP Search Room".
Or even better: Copy a template (room or part) from SAP that is containing the Room Search and delete everything what you don´t need out of the template. You safe time and you can add all additional content you´ll need to your template. Some ideas can be found in the following "How to Guide":

What you have written under 3 -> would never work as the root folder for search doesn´t make any sense as the documents of a room are stored in different folders and you can´t define a root folder. Therefor you have the specific room_id parameter that is filtering what documents belong to the room.

Problems with the driver for the HP E3631A

I have installed the driver of NI for Labview version 5.1.
I need to send information to a DC Power Supply ( HP E3631A), this information is just to set the output voltage for the HP E3631A.
I'm using the "getting started.vi" for the HP E3631A, normaly this must work !
I have called with support from NI,
But they couldn't tell me what the problem was !
The problem is that when I set the voltage on my PC ( using labview),
and run the getting started.vi, I always get the same outputvoltage from my DC Power Supply. ( HP E3631A ) ( +0.288V )
You first need to choose between +6V, +25V and -25V.
The strange thing is that when you change this, the DC Power Supply
changes correctly, follows these settings.
So the DC Power Sup
ply follow's the +6V, +25V and -25V when you change these, but always gives the same voltage when you set the outputvoltage.
Can you tell me what the problem is ??

You may also check in the Configure Output.vi, which is one subvi of the Getting Started VI, and try to set the boolean for output(which is On=True by default) to false. I do not have the power supply, but my guess is that this boolean when set to true, only allows the predefined values.

Just purchased Wndows Vista and having problems with the port for Palm 125

I just purchased a Windows Vista computer and having problems with getting my Palm 125 to sync with the desktop. I get an error message saying: "Com1 not available" What do I do?

Sorry, that didn't work. I get no drop down menu from the Hot Sync Manager for the Serial Port. What comes up often is: "The selected port, COM1, is not available at this time. Hot Sync Manager will open the port when it becomes available."
Could it be the Norton Antivirus Firewall that is preventing the Hot Sync Manager to open the Serial Port? Just a thought. Thanks for your help.

Do the filenames contain special characters, like "ä,ü,..." or white space or are the vry long? Is there anything special about the image format? Try to export the edited versions in that case and reimport it with a different, shorter filename.
For testing, create a new book with only the images you want to check.
If this does not fix it, try rebuilding. Depress the option and command keys, launch iPhoto and rebuild the library.

Hello All, Could you please help me and advise about my issue, i did an upgrade in the software as the mobile itself asked to be updated and after the updates and when using the mobile in receiving calls the sound is not clear and the other person cannot hear me very well , sometimes its like mute, also the when i want to use the speaker in calls the other part in the call cannot hear anything from me and when i turn off the speaker it still same problem so i need to recall the person again and using the ear speaker to talk, but from the speaker it doesnt work. please advise since its a very annoying thing to have in my Z2

Problems with the condition for a switch in our IntegrationProcess

we're relatively new in using the XI-IntegrationBuilder and we have a small problem.
We try to define a switch-condition to perform two different Transformations depending on a specific value of a message element.
The condition looks like this:
(IncomingRequest./p1:MT_XI_REQUEST/status = donormal)
Both 'sides' of the condition are of the type (xsd:string).
But it seems the condition is not working in the right way.
It always uses the Transformation 'merge' (pls see image of IntegrationProcess->here the Transformation is shown as 'me').

For testing we already run the process without the switch (making it linear), by using each transformation occurring in the switch on its own. Both tests worked well and returned the expected different values. But as mentioned above when we're using both Transformations in the switch, always the Transformation 'merge' is performed.
It does NOT matter if the Transformation 'merge' is placed in the 'if' or in the 'otherwise' branch. It does NOT matter what value (true/false) the condition should return.
Maybe its a basic desing-problem of our process?

1) the namspaces are the same. we ckecked it already.
2) status is an element NOT an attribute
3) it is the same value (no blanks etc.)
we will try to run XI with 1.4.2

We know how to use XPath a litte bit and were to customize an expression in the conditioneditor. We only thought that you could mean a 'special functionality' of XI

Having a problem with the sound for purchased movies is skipping like a scratched CD

Every time I got to play a movie of Television show the sound keeps skipping like a scratched CD. I've tried redownloading but that doesn't seem to work. I dont know what else to do.

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. I recently updated my Twitter app on my iPad 2...but since I updated the app, the push notifications aren't working anymore...I've tried to disable and enable the notifications in Settings...I even tried uninstalling and re-installing the app, but there's no results..what should I do???

i type in the code. in notepad, then compile it to java, but i always seem to get 3 errors. if anyone can help, id really appreciate it.

Serious problems with the canceling for my plan, it´s just frustrating =(

Labview 7.1 crashes windows XP when using VI's saved with the 'Save for Previous Version' option available in Labview 8

I am trying to work with a series of vi's developed in Labview 8 in Labview 7.1. The code was saved with the 'Save for Previous Version' option available in Labview 8. When trying to use the code in LV7.1 my entire Windows XP system locks up (cursor freezes). Are there any ideas what's going on and how to fix this?

I have seen some problems with the save for previous option in the past. Instead of saving the entire hierarchy, try seperating the code into several different pieces and saving each piece individually. Then, see if you can open the different pieces in 7.1.
If that doesn't help, you should post some more details, like when exactly does it lock up, does it have things like DLL calls, and maybe attach the code.
Try to take over the world!
