I'M HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING VIDEOS...THE BROWSER I USE IS SAFARI...THE MESSAGE I GET WHEN TRYING TO VIEW THE VIDEOS IS "HAS CONTENT OF MIME-TYPE "APPLICATION/XMPLAYER2" BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A PLUGIN INSTALLED FOR THIS MIMTYPE A PLUGIN SHOULD BE AVAILABLE ON THIS PAGE" THEN IT DIRECTS ME TO THE MICROSOFT WEBSITE TO DOWNLOAD MICROSOFT MEDIA PLAYER 9....???? WHAT SHOULD I DO?....WE TRY TO DOWNLOAD...AFTER DOWNLOAD IT STILL KEEPS DOING THE SAME THING OVER...I'M NOT REALLY SURE WHAT A PLUGIN IS OR HOW I CAN GET ONE...COULD YOU HELP ME OUT?...THANK YOU...

Try a generic troubleshooting step. Close all of your apps in the recents tray and reboot your iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Having problems viewing video remotely

Greetings, all! I am using a Sony camera with my PXI 1409 card. In my vi, I have an embedded video grab that is shown on one tabbed page. My problem is this: When I connect to remotely run this vi, the box where my grab is shown on the remote machine has the following words "Control could not be loaded." On the PXI machine where the actual vi resides and runs, the box showing the grab (which does indeed still show the grab in progress) now appears on EVERY tab (I have 5 tabs on my vi). Can anyone think of a reason that this is happening? I'll be happy to provide more information if needed. You just need to let me know what you need, as I'm pretty new to labview. Thanks!

What sort of indictor are you using to display the image? IMAX windows aren't really LV indicators. They don't have terminals and (though I have never really tried it) I can image that they wouldn't deal with tab controls real well--or remote viewing either.
Can you convert the image, and display it in an intensity plot or picture control?

Having problem viewing video in the correct direction on IPad or Phone; however video is fine on PC...Is there add'l code I should know for Apple?

I inserted a MP4 video on a page - GMX Tree Service - Tree Trimming, Stump Grinding, Tree Removal Services and Firewood Sales in Toms River NJ - and it plays correctly and is in the correct direction on my PC, but when you view it on your IPad or phone it shows up sideways. Is there additional code necessary to make it play in the correct direction?

Right. You're using XHTML doc type with HTML5 <video> tags. So the W3C code validation is showing invalid code errors. If you're going to use HTML5, you must be consistent throughout.
I don't know which version of DW you have, but in CS5 forward you have the option to use HTML5 doc types. Go to Modify > Page Properties > Title/Encoding. Click on screenshot.
If your version is older than that, you'll need to do it manually in Code View.

Having problems viewing videos in Firefox (only quarter screen)

Suddenly in Firefox 23 I found that videos would only play in the top left hand corner of the video box (i.e. in Youtube). Full screen works ok. Firefox 22 works ok but the new Firefox 24 has the same problem.
There's a discussion in Mozilla where it appears to be an issue with Retina screens.

There's some solutions posted there but they don't seem to be helping me.
The last discussion was me saying
My problem is still the same. Hardware acceleration is ticked and about:support says "GPU Accelerated Windows 0/1 Basic"
and the Mozilla bloke saying
"I think that indicates that Firefox isn't compatible with your graphics card drivers so it is not actually using hardware acceleration. Can you find out whether any updates are available either from Apple or your card manufacturer?"
The graphics card is "Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB" and isn't compatabile then I am stunned.
The videos work fine in Safari (I haven't got any other browsers installed) but I much prefer Firefox.
Any ideas?

Appears to be a bug w/FF. You may have to wait until FF provides a fix.

A friend recommended this and surprisingly I could watch the videos so apparently my issue is a Flash problem.
Try this test:
Try this, www.youtube.com/html5 and click 'Join the html5 trial' and see if you can watch videos then. If you can, it's a flash issue. If not, I have no idea.
If it's flash, I would upgrade FF to 5.0. I believe it uses built in flash, much like Chrome does.

That means you do not have the proper plugin installed. You need the Flash plugin.

Hi,
I using windows xp service pack3. I used before about 2 years and I never had problems, but now when I uninstall adobe photoshop cs5 because I could not see CR2 files in adobe bridge I tried install again about 3 times and unsuccessful, could you help me please.

You said, "the 4 also has signal and wifi whereas the 5 has only wifi". By "signal", I'm assuing that you mean cellular signal. If so, that means your iPhone 4 is still active on your cellular number and your iPhone 5 is not. Contact your carrier to sort out which phone is active on your account.

Assuming you are using Safari ...
Quit Safari.
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Storage tab. Click: Delete All
Now uninstall the Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Make sure to uninstall the currently installed Flash plugin first.
Launch Safari From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
Now try a video.
BTW... if you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

Hi Bob, I just tried your suggestion, but the interactive PDF is in spreads by default, no way to change the setting. When I choose to view by single page in Acrobat, it displays a single spread.
When I choose to view by spreads, it displays 4 pages, two spreads. That's the topic of this whole discussion, I believe. I do own CS 6 at home, however my employer supplied me with CS 5.5. And I have very little, if any, influence on purchasing.
So, I have no good way to make an interactive PDF (with differing recto/verso headers and footers), that is accessible and shows the correct header/footer. It's either single pages (with one header/footer), or recto/verso headers/footers but PDF only as a spread, as well as I can tell.
Unless you know something else I can do...
