Having trouble accessing my itunes account?

I'm trying to login into my iTunes account and I put in my password and it will not let me login. It says it can't access it now. What's going on? PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you tried logging out and signing back in?
What exactly is happening when you attempt to access?

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    I am cannot access the iTunes store via iTunes on my PC and also can not update to 10.6.3.  It keeps telling me that my connection has times out and/or check my settings.  There is nothing wrong with my setting.  I am also having trouble with the app store on my iPhone 4s and can not update apps.
    I have signed out of itunes and now cannot sign in again.

    My husband and I both have an iphone5.  I had mine first and setup my itunes account.  When we purchased his phone we sent up another itunes account but on the same computer.  Now we are running into problems, especially when he wants to set up playlists from his music to his phone and in general with synching.  should we start over with just one itunes account and both use that with the one computer?

    By the sounds of it you have linked Email Accounts, if so this means that you will both recieve the majority of the same Emails, and if you do and you read them on your account (which is linked with your husbands) then they will appear to read on the both of them because they are linked. With the majority of Email providers these days they're Emails are (simplified) in the cloud you could say, meaning that if you read or delete shared Emails then it will do the same on both accounts rather than just the yours.

    Not to worry, you're not the first to expect Print to finish by returning you to the edit mode. The thing is that Printing is so hit and miss with this version of the app, you will probably want to stay in the Print window for more than one attempt.

    Someone please help me I got my IPad off of craigslist but brand new in the box.

    Once you purchase or download an app it will always be associated with the Apple ID used to download it. When that app requires and update you must use the Apple ID and password used to download it in the first place. The only way around this is to delete the apps the require the old Apple ID and download or purchase them again with the new Apple ID.

  • I can't seem to access my iTunes account

    I've been having issues accessing my iTunes account through Apple TV.  After typing in my Apple ID and password, it tells me "cannot connect to iTunes Store".  The WiFi connection seems fine.  I've tried reseting the Apple TV and it seemed to work and then I'm right back with the same errror.  And I cannot not watch any purchased or rented movies.

    Looks like it is not connecting to my wifi, which is confusing because it was connecting.  My iPhone, iPad & Macbook Pro all are connecting to the same wifi, mine. 
    Any ideas what I need to do?

  • HT3180 With ATV, I can't access my ITunes account.

    So, I have an Apple TV, I can get onto Netflix, YouTube, Flickr, etc, but any time I try to access ITunes, it gives the waiting circle in the center and then goes back to the main screen.  None of my other devices (IPhone, IPad, Macbook Pro) are having trouble with my wi-fi, so I am pretty sure that is not the problem.  I have restarted my Apple TV multiple times and that has not fixed the problem.  I have been able to access my ITunes account via all of my Mac products, just not ATV.  If I sign out of my ITunes account, I can get onto ITunes, watch previews, see what is available, etc, but when I go to rent/buy and I sign in, it just says ITunes unable to connect to the internet.  Can anyone give me any suggestions? ANYTHING would be appreciated!

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
    1.     Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
    2.     You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.

    Is anyone else having this problem?. I upgraded to lion on the day it was released and after a recent software update for lion i've been unable to access my itunes account information to change my payment card or even access my purchase history.
    I tried my girlfriends mac with my log in and it still said unavailable please try later but she can access her account with no problems.

    Okay everything was going fine until i updated my software with the latest Lion update and my other macbook pro works fine (still on snow leopard). Come on Apple man up and admit the Lion upgrade wasn't ready!!!!! and i didn't say i couldn't connect to the itunes store i told him i couldn't access my account information!!!

    That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
    XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

    Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
    Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
    Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

    I have never experienced that or read about it either but before you resort to restoring - and that may be what you have to end up doing - try the basics first.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Sometimes just restarting the iPad can really help. The resolution may end up being more complicated, but try the simple things and then move on.
