Having trouble with iphone and ipad syncing

Just got my iphone. Trying to get music on it. Only problem is that my daughter has an ipad that wants to sync all of her apps on to my iphone. the music is ok because its in a playlist. The apps try to sync even though I have checked it to not sync the apps. Dont know how to seperate the two different itunes. Also having trouble getting itunes to recognize my card number to purchase music.

Well, if "deleted the account" actually means simply removed using that account on the iPad, and if the account turns out to be an iCloud account, then you would have no problem.
Simply go to Settings > iCloud on your iPad and turn on Notes.
But you've given us so little information (e.g., was your account in iCloud?  Dles "deleted" actually simply mean removed from iPad?) that it's hard to tell if this would actually solve your particular issue.

    First you need to check that your current Mac meets the System Requirements for Snow Leopard...

    If it does... then you need to Purchase and Install the Snow Leopard Disc,

    This is how you Reset  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     You first have to subscribe to iTunes Match through iTunes on your computer and have your music library in iTunes uploaded/matched before you can enable it on your iOS devices (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/).  Without a computer you won't be able to use iTunes Match.

    Regarding the USB, see if zapping the PRAM helps.

    Hi Fabian,
    Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
    In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
    Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
    Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.

    I have an airport extreme that woeks fine with my laptop, but iphones and ipads will not sign on?

    I just developed this problem this morning with iphone and ipad. 
    Never had this before.
    Got an "unable to join network" error.
    Macbook air and iMac can join network fine.  iOS devices connected fine with router at work.
    I reset the iphone and ipad network settings.
    Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings
    Both working now.

    sorry when I try to update any app it will ask for my password (which I have checked and changed on a number of occasion now,) then seems to try for a while and then just stops and goes back to needs updating. I can access my account on computer and have re checked all info is correct but iPhone and iPad just won't update an app. This has been going on now for the last few weeks.

    iCloud for email is not on my Mac. It should be under Internet and wireless in System Preferences but it is not. Basically I am trying to get iCloud running successfully on my Mac for email and Calendar so that it will sync with my iPad and iPhone.     I too was a mobileme user and have just migrated to iCloud on mackbook pro w/OS 10.7.4. Transition caused my sent mailboxes to rearrange themselves so that I have no comprehensive 'sent' mailbox as I did previously and the view on both incoming and outgoing mailboxes keeps rearranging itself no matter how many times I set preferences. One result is that search function no longer works.  Is anyone else having problems like this?  All was fine for a week after transition but after having an evening when my password was repeatedly rejected I had to log in and out of iCloud (as directed by tech support) and w/in an hour or so the mailbox problem began.

    When I first opened the mail i didn't have the option of the "go to" and choose notes because i hadn't created the mailbox.  I 've only had the mac for 3 days. None the less I created the notes mailbox which apparently falls under "Reminders".
    Will this "notes mailbox" eventually sync with my ipad and iphone.  I have created several notes on the ipad but still don not see them in the "notes mailbox" on my mac?

    My MacBook automatically starts to sync iPhone and iPad when I open iTunes. I only want to sync with my iMac, but MacBook seems to override what I want as default for syncing. I have under preferences device ticked box to prevent syncing but it makes no difference.

    Make sure Mail is selected.

  • I was going to purchase Office for Mac 2011, including Outlook.  However, I am hearing many problems with this software including the inability to sync Outlook with iPhone and iPad

    I currently sync my iPhone and iPad with Outlook on my Windows Desktop, but want to switch and still do this on my new Mac running Lion.  However what I am reading about the nightmares of syncing with Outlook in Office for Mac 2011 is making me think twice about going down this road.  What an awful situation of purchasing a Mac and being potentially stumped by 'Office for Mac 2011'.
    I want to continue using Microsoft Office including Outlook for my business applications - but on the Mac.  I like Keynote for presentations, however I also have to create presentations in PowerPoint for some business situations.  So, although I don't ideally want to put Windows onto my Mac, would it be more efficient and less hassle to use Parallels 7, Windows 7 and Office 2010, rather than endure the issues associated with OFM 2011?
    If I decide to use Parallels 7 and Windows 7 am I then into using software to protect against virus' and malware?
    I wouldn't be asking this question if Office for Mac 2011 (including Outlook) wasn't a problem - sadly from what I'm reading, it is.

    I just resolved my Outlook 2010 + iPhone Calendar sync issue today :  if you have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook (like I do), then you'll find that each account has it's own Calendar (a rather pointless feature IMO).  However you probably only use one Calendar like most people, and what has happened is that the mail account which is set as default for Data Files is not the one you are using.  Try this:
    Outlook 2010 -->  Account Settings -->  click "Data Files" tab -->  select as default whichever acct. is associted with the Calendar you use.
