Having trouble with iTunes and your phone - try a new cable.

I got a brand new V3i a couple of days ago. I couldn't get it to sync properly with iTunes.
The symptoms included randomly locking up iTunes or not even automatically starting iTunes to begin with.
Eventually I traced the problem back to the cable (that nice black cable that motorola gives you with the phone). If you are having problems try a new cable before you blame iTunes - any mini USB cable should work.
I would be VERY surprised if I was alone with this problem. This sort of thing tends to happen in batches.

Having trouble with itunes and my podcast

Hi im trying to upload a podcast onto itunes when put in the feed i get the message:
There are no playable episodes for "L.I.F.E Crowd"
The URL might point to text only episodes, or contain file types that
iTunes cannot play.
Where am i going wrong?, my feed is:

I'm not all that familiar with Feedburner, but as I understand it there are two ways of working with it: a) you create a feed in another program (or hand-write it), submit it to Feedburner and it will rewrite the feed and submit it to iTunes: and b) you create the podcast entirely in Feedburner.
If a), you need to work with the program you are using, or write the feed, so that includes the enclosure tags with the direct links to the media files: Feedburner can only work with the information you give it.
If b), you need to submit direct links to the actual media files, which must be mp3, .mov, .m4a or .m4v, not Flash or WMA. I can't advise on exactly how to use Feedburner in this way: please see their documentation.

Check and make sure the repeat indicator isn't set to repeat the same song. It will have a little number 1 inside a circle on it if it is. Just keep hitting it until it goes white. It will cycle through repeat all, repeat 1, and repeat none.

Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.

You first have to subscribe to iTunes Match through iTunes on your computer and have your music library in iTunes uploaded/matched before you can enable it on your iOS devices (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). Without a computer you won't be able to use iTunes Match.

I figured it out. A week ago I had downloaded a screensaver from a website I trusted and that's when my problems started. I uninstalled it but that didn't help. So, I reinstalled it then used an uninstall softtware app that cleanns more than the control panel does. Then I used a computer cleaner to be sure everything was wiped clean. And it worked. I downloded iTunes for the 7th time in 2 days and finally it worked! And I lost nothing from my account.
Maybe this info will help others.

I'm having trouble with iTunes synching and accessing the iTunes store. When synching, the process tops at the back up stage, freezes and I can't close the iTunes window, need to ctrl alt del. When trying to access the store, the progress bar stops halfway. I've googled heaps and tried most of the standard answers - unistall, reinstall, etc, now looking for some help please.
This has only started a few weeks back, after working smoothly for the 2 years of owning the iPhone 3gs.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, it's getting realy frustrating.

Having trouble with itunes update. Error with itunes64.msi. Windows 8.1 64 bit. I tried uninstalling, but I am stuck now trying to reinstall.
It says itcan't find the itunes64.msi destination folder.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

Which iTunes, on iPad, iTunes is a Store and it won't take your .mp4.
On pc, check if it supports the mp4 (there are a number of different mp4 format) you have converted.
Can you import it to computer iTunes?

Yes, it happens to me all the time. I deleted an app because it froze the. Tried to redownloading it but it wouldn't let me ivd tried all of my cards and nothing works. As peter says, this is evidence that your phone was previously hacked and was re-locked by the upgrade.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. There is nothing else we can suggest.
