This happens if I upload too many HD photos at once. You are overworking the processor. Just leave your phone off and put it on top of a plastic bag of ice to cool it down. To keep this from happening you have to remove apps from the multitasker by double tapping the home button when the phone is on the home screen or in an app, then hold down on an app, then just press the little red minus signs. This won't delte the app, it just quits them (for example: quitting Skype will not allow you to recieve calls, quitting Facebook will stop you from receiving messages until you reopen the app, quitting the Phone app will not stop you from getting calls or texts though). This will save a great deal of battery.

Just recalibrate it! I have a similar issue where I kept pressing my home button and nothing worked.

And if both suggestions don't work, go to settings, General, Acessability, and turn on assistive touch so that a little circle appears in the corner, tap it and tap home to work as your home button!

I am also having trouble with my cursor freezing after installing Mavericks. Never did it before. I called tech support at Apple and they had me restart computer and mouse together from a complete shut down. So far has seemed to work.

I think you can solve your problems by removing your AppleID email address from BOTH the Messages setting on your iPhone and the iMessages settings on your Mac.
On iPhone:
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Dissabled
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > touch the "(i)" < touch "Remove This Email"
On Mac:
Open "Messages" application
Click "Messages menu > Preferences
Click "Accounts"
Select your AppleID account
Under the "You can be reached for messages at" settings, uncheck your AppleID email address and your phone number
Then uncheck the "Enable this account" setting
And lastly, ask all of your friends with iPhones to delete all iMessage conversations (blue bubbles) in their entirety.
To test, send a friend a new text using their phone number (not their email address) and watch the color of the bubble. If it's green then you are using SMS.

The sign on screen (where the current time and the slide to unlock) and if I can get it to open, the next screen that show all the apps. Have been unable to get any further that that second screen. The screen contents appear to be about twice the size they should be. I have been able to "reset" the phone by turning it off, but the problem happening several times a day and now occasioanally the reset does not work. Lots of Frustration. In some cases the LGG2 is rendered useless even as a phone.
Here is what I did.
Got replacement Phone.
Same problems but I shut down all apps that I purchased even though they worked before KitKat.
Found that If I have both WiFi and LTE Data on at the same time battery chewing stops. Do Not know why.
Then I got 2 CM free utilities. The Clean and Wash utilities. Run them and find the culprits grinding CPU
cycles and running down the battery. Number One is the Verizon Voice Mail service constantly turning on and off
and retrieving data not there. Turn of the extra Voice mail and use the old access with the *6. Unless you have
100 messages a day for business your hosed until this KitKat issue is fixed. Get the CM battery utility.
YOU can see the battery suckers and shut them down when not using automatically.
Start putting back one application at a time you used often and see it they work and if the utilities will tune them
down if they cause problems. The LG will get better but with some limitations.
LG and Verizon have a problem with what was a great phone.turned bad overnight.

or it could be locked object(s)/Layer(s),
or the text could be hidden within a Clipping mask or something.
Have you tried (Alt/Option) selecting with the Direct Selection Tool?
Have you looked into the relevant expanded Layer(s) in the Layers palette?
What happens if you Select>Object>Text Objects?

Aha! I have sorted it.
For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin

This phone is not doing this.

Are you using a case around your phone? If yes, did you make sure the proximity sensor is not covered?
Try without the cover to make sure the sensor is working.
A protection film on your screen can also cover the sensor and result in a dysfunction of the sensor.

An iPod can pn;y sync wiht one iTunes kibrary and the new computer is a new iTunes library:
- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party probgram like one of those dicussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
