Headers missing . . . now pages missing

I am using InDesign CC2014, with the current updates. The file in question, is 566 pages long, all text, no pictures. 30 chapters, all based off of the first chapter.
The other day, I opened the file, and the half the running heads were gone (all verso running head were simply not there, not on the page, not on the masters).
I loaded the masters from a previous version, and everything was correct. I made a PDF, printed it out, everything was okay.
I reopened the file today to edit it, and clumps of pages are missing. I noticed this when doing a word search, and the result kept taking me back to the first page. Looking down the Pages Palette, I saw empty pages. When I scroll from pasteboard to pasteboard there are huge gaps and missing pages:

It's interesting how poor this forum is for difficult questions:
1) Random glyphs that do and don't print but the InDesign/PDF file passed all Acrobat text related preflight tests. The printer's suggestion: Convert text to outline. What alternatives? Aside from some mocking for being so behind the times or get a new printer, when I mention CreateSpace . . . poof, nada, even one of the Adobe experts disappeared.
2) Frames (text and image) become impossible to move; moving a frame can take 30 seconds to 10 minutes, and they jump to who knows where when they finally move. Two days here of did you update, did you connect the flidget to the widget, sorry, only possible during leap years, did you compensate for the quantum effects of the above average gamma ray background radiation due to solar flairs . . . One piece of good advice: try to get customer service from N________ Center, and no where else. One month later, the Design Team said: it's a known bug in all versions of InDesign; don't follow the instructions (I had master pages based on the previous master pages (described in Adobe's InDesign instructions).
3) Now, a file that looks good, converts to PDF well, suddenly is missing headers form the verso pages in all sections. The master pages from a previous version of the file were loaded, replacing the existing master pages. It worked except I found missing clumps of pages. The text threads just zip across time and space, over the gaps, to the next or previous linked page. A day later, nuttin'.

Can someone offer assistance on how I can go about achieving the ability to show and print the Report Column headers on each page of any report using the Print Attributes of APEX 3.0? These reports will be printed using Excel and Word.
I read a thread with a similar request but the answer seems vague for my level of understanding.
I am connected to a print server and using BI Publisher.

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. You are using a very powerful tool – BI Publisher – why do you need Excel or Word for printing? Is there a special need only Excel or Word can provide?
One of the major advantages of using BI Publisher is that it's taking care of all these tedious tasks like reasonable page breaking, headers and footers, and also table headers.

Please elaborate on what exactly you mean by it "won't open".
Do you try to launch it and get an error message from the Finder (for example, something like "This application is damaged and cannot be launched....")? Does an icon for the application ever appear in the Dock when you try to launch it? Does it start to launch and then immediately crashes (Finder will display an "unexpectedly quit" dialog)? Or does it start to launch and never seems to "finish" launching (in other words, it basically hangs and is unresponsive)?
If the application crashes, please post the contents of the crash log here.
Otherwise, if the application seems to be hanging, can you, before attempting to launch it, open the Console.app application (it's in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder), and see if anything is reported when you attempt to launch it? If so, please post it here.

Use Pages '09 which should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

Thanks. It is fixed now. I think letting it get some rest and rebooting later that morning helped it feel better.
Weird thing, it was letters up and down the screen with a few understandable words here and there.

I just upgrated to 14 and now pages aren't fully loading, I have to do a hard refresh and that doesn't always work.

I just upgraded to version 14 and now pages aren't fully loading. I have to do a hard refresh in order to get them to load but sometimes that's not an option. For instance when I want to upload a picture to tinypic.com a pop up comes up where you enter a security code. the code and the entry box never load and I can't refresh it.

I noticed in the box that comes up that the author named a portion of that page with "ad" in the name:

This can sometimes trigger an ad blocker. If you're using one, can you make an exception for tinypic.com and see whether that helps?
More generally, try clearing your Firefox cache:

Is it possible to have different headers for each page for the Pages app?

I just purchased the Pages app for my ipad and it happens to be one of the best apps i've ever bought. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to have different headers for each page of the same document. Is this possible to do?

One of the limitations of Pages for iOS on your iPad is that Pages can't create sections per se. The best you can do is insert page breaks and then assign different columns to that page. The problem comes with the headers and footers - in iOS Pages, the headers and footers apply to the whole document, not the individual sections as you would find in Pages '09 on OSX.
The workaround is to create your document on OSX, insert the needed sections and headers, save, then transfer the Pages document to your iPad either as a working "blank" or as a new document. The headers and footers will reflect the sections you created in OS X, but you won't be able to add any new ones or new sections on your iPad.

[TOC] Sub headers appearing above headers in wrong page number

Hi All,
I am pulling my hair out with this one, so need some help.
For some reason on my table of contents the sub headers are appearing above the header, but on the wrong page! Sometimes it will go back to normal, but If I edit the header text or change the area of the box it goes wrong again. It never did it before and has only just started to do it.
I've tried everything I can think of, but it's just so bizarre, they I need some help. As you can see it says the sub headers are on page 4 just like the header but places the sub headers under page 3 header!
I have attached screen of my table of contents and the screen of the contents on page. Please help!

Further to my initial post. If you see the image below, the table of contents works correctly if I pull the width of the header text box of the edge of the page. But if I pull the text box back in it breaks. This is the craziest thing I have experienced and so frustrating. It never did it before and has only just started doing it.

Page headers missing

All my document headers have disappeared after updating to Numbers 3. A message appears informing me the Spotlight information has been removed. How can I get my headers and footers back? Where is Page View?

Just in case you are not aware (Apple hasn't made this very clear so it's confused a lot of people) when you upgrade to 3.0 you still have 2.3 on your Mac, in subfolder in your Applications folder named iWork '09. So you can still use 2.3 to open the documents with client data, just as you always have.
If you have opened a document in 3.0 you can convert it back to a format that 2.3 can open via File > Export to > Numbers '09...
If you want to use 3.0 you would first need to move the client data from the headers to someplace else on the spreadsheet.

i need to show the results of a resultset in a jtable. i am putting the table in a jscrollpane... but still the headers dont show up. i have tested the array "headers" (Object[] headers) and is full with the correct data.
what is missing??

The scrollPane.add(...) method doesn't work the way you expect it to.
You can use the setViewportView(...) method, or you can read the JTable API for an example of adding a table to the scrollpane when the scrollpane is created.

I have written a program that ultimately deals with database connectivity, but my problem is got more to do with JTable. that's why i decided to post my doubt here.
my program displays a JTable by reading fields form a database.
But you see, the column headers are missing!!
I have used the concept of DefaultTableModel, i first searched google and came upon a website: www.exampledepot.com and studied the sample codes on how insert fields into a JTable using the above....
i swear to god i have done the exact same things..

JTable column headers missing

I created a JTable using:
JTable table = new JTable(v,cN);
where v is my vector that holds the data and cN is a vector to hold the column names as below:
Vector cN = new Vector();
     cN.add("Registry Keys");
     cN.add("Program Name");
     cN.add("Key Type");
     cN.add("Drive");
     cN.add("Location");
     cN.add("Leave");It displays the table fine with the data and as I add or remove entries in the cN vector it adds and removes columns - but doesn't display column headers? Any help appreciated.

Are you using a scrollpane? If not, you have to get the Table Header component and place it appropriately.

Data log headers missing

VBAI 2011 build 20110727075817 running on Win7-64bit OS. Using the simulate acquistion step, all the measurements and calculations work fine. The data log step even works fine if I step through it in configuration mode. When I switch to inspection interface mode, the data log is created but without the headers. Is this a bug?

Lumia 928...Menu alphabet headers missing?

Hi everyone,
Yesterday I got a new Lumia 928 through insurance to replace the one I shattered (whoops). The new phone is all set up and updated with the Amber update, however the menu screen no longer has alphabet headers.
I know it's not a huge deal, but the headers were very helpful. Does anyone have any tips to get it back??
