can apple`s Genius fix that in the apple store where in Beijing?
If the receiver has broken ,how much money will it takes?

X6 headphone doesn't work

Yesterday I test my mobile and my headphone. Unfortunately the headphone doesn't work, I can't heard the voices (in the radio, mp3, videos), and the keys (play,pause..) don't work. In addition, if I test with other compatible XPress headphone, I can listen to music perfectly and I can manage play, pause.. from headphone.
First, I thought the problem was my headphone but, surprisingly, my headphone works in other nokia mobiles, like Xpress 5800 and N79.
I think, there is a problem between the firmware and the headphone, isn't it, any idea??

i seem to be having the same problem. i have read all the posts and tried pushing in the headphone into to the jack as advised till i get a locking click but the issue persists. either there is no sound at all or there is an extremely distorted or yawing noise coming up. this is a fone that has been purchased last week and i am still trying out all its features and one of the main reasons for me to get this fone is to use the music features on it as i travel a lot and i use this while travelling. its very unfortunate that nokia is not responding to my mails or requests for assistance. i am now losing patience with this whole process and am very dissappointed with this product. i would appreciate any suggestions or advise to resolve this issue so that i can use my fone as soon as possible. thanks.

Headphone doesn't work in windows 7 at macbook pro 13 (early 2010)

I installed all drivers from bootcamp 3.1. But when I plug in headphone, there is no sound in my speaks and headphone in windows 7. But in mac os, that would be fine. And i try to reinstall and update. it still doesn't work. How to solve this problem?

I found a fix for this problem, so here it is.
what you need
1.mac osx dvd [where all the bootcamp drivers are]
2.7-zip software
goto the mac osx dvd, find the cirrus drivers. it should be inside drivers folder.
extract the files using 7-zip and save them on desktop
now goto device manager, and update the cirrus audio manually, when the option of have disk comes, navigate to the desktop folder where u saved the extracted drivers and select the driver file.
when windows gives a list of which drivers to install choose AB77 .
thats it then u'll be good to go after the new drivers install.
if you cannot find the [AB 77] use a disk from a 2009 macbook pro

3.5 headphone doesn't work on my E52

I've tried different headphones with mic. They won't work on my E52. regular headphones without mic will work but i need the mic to be able to answer calls while on my bike. I don't want to use bluetooth becuase it uses too much battery. Does this mean I'm stuck with Nokia stereo headphones only?

Volume through headphones doesn't work?

When I play my iPod without headphones in or on the iHome, volume works perfectly fine. But when I plug ANY pair of headphones in, and adjust the volume "bar" all the way up, no volume is produced. Anybody have a solution/answer to this without restoration? Thanks everyone.

Have you tried another pair of headphones?
Go to Settings>Music amd make sure that volume limit is off.
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPOd.
If you still have the problem then it is likely that the headphone jack is bad. Apple will not replace the jack but will exchange your iPod for this price:

Left headphone doesn't work

When listening to music on my iPod Touch, I have found that my left earbud does not get sound. However, the main thing is that it is not my headphones. I use my apple headphones with other iPods and my computer and it works fine and when I plug other headphones into my iPod the sam issue with the left earbud happens. Just wonder what I can do about it.

Did you check the headphone port for any kind of debris or lint? Use canned air to blow it out, if the plug does not get in all the way, you might be losing the sound on one channel.

I am experiencing a unique problem that I have never encountered before in any phone.
I have been using the Blackberry Q10 with the original Headphones included in the device package, it worked well and the sound was great. However, the right channel on the headset stopped working today. I tested it on other device like a tablet or a pc and it still works. I tested other headsets on the phone and both channels work.
I have eliminated all possible problems like volume control, audio output jack poblems and even updated to the latest BB OS version. Please advice.
TL;DR headphones and phone don't work with each other but both work on other devices.

If your iPod's headphones don't work or have static or garbled audio, try connecting them to any other 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, like the one on your computer. If the issue with the headphones persists, replace them. For an iPod under warranty, you can order a replacement online. Otherwise, check out the cool headphones at the Apple Online Store. If the issue appears to be with the iPod, try resetting it. If that doesn't work, then restore iPod with the latest iPod software using iTunes 7 or later.

Tecra 9100: Headphones out doesn't work

at my Tecra 9100, the Headphones connector doesn't work. The internal speaker do well. If i plug in headphones or external speakers, the internals are being switched off, but at the external devices i can't hear anything.
My soundcard generally works, i thought there could be a chance to fix this just by dis- and reconnection the wire/board from the front connectors to the sound board ... but i've never done any technichal stuff at a Tecra, so it would be nice if someone could give me some input how and where i would have to open it, and if this is even a chance to fix my problem.

According to your problem description I presume that Audio headphone port is defective. There is small switch that switch between internal and external speakers.
I have the same unit and it works well on my unit. I am afraid that you must contact service partner and check this mechanical connector.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP 1000-1609au Notebook PC and sound not working correctly with headphones. Here is a fix that has helped.
1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Playback devices
3. Right click Speakers
4. Enable it and set as Default
5. Click Apply/Ok

Have you tried the headphones in a something else?

Headphone pause / play / FF button doesn't work on iphone 3g

I cant get the button on my headphones to work. I have tried other headphones but this still doesnt help. Is there a setting for this button?

I have the same problem here.
I have an Iphone 16Gb firm 1.1.3 , my headphones button (start/stop - skip) works ONLY if i leave the headphone's jack plugged in the phone in STANDBY mode.
In other words : Iphone in standby mode - plug the headphones - wake button - slide unlock ... everything perfect hedphones button works correctly.
On the contrary if : Iphone in standby mode - wake button - slide unlock - and THEN plug the hadphones ... the headphone's button doesn't work !!!
I don't make any restore also because i'm not sure that it can fix the problem and i don't want to loose all my notes - sms etc.
I will do only if i will be sure that restore can fix this annoying issue.
