Headset issues

Updated Boot Camp drivers to 3.1. Running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
So I have 2 issues here:
1) When I try to connect a bluetooth headset (Motorola H500) to W7, it connects, but then it says it can not install the driver. I tried downloading the Broadcom driver off their site, but it just sits there during detecting devices (even when I had my headset in discover mode). My Magic Mouse works just fine.
2) When I plug in my Turtle Beach headset, the speakers work on it. I have the green jack in the speaker port on my MBP, but when I put the red mic jack into the line-in port, W7 detects that it's plugged in, but I can't use it as a mic. The only way I can get the mic to work is if I use the USB dongle that it can plug into (but since the USB ports on the MBP are so close together, I can have that plugged in along with my keyboard. I have to plug the dongle into the keyboard so now my keyboard is slanted.
Any help is appreciated. If you need more info or whatnot, let me know. Thanks guys!

  • Curve 8330 Stereo Headset Issue.

    Hello, I purchases a new Curve 8330 a few days ago and the headset which was included with it (the 3.5mm 4 Pole Stereo Headset) does not work when I play music from the Internet or from the Media. It also doesn't work with any calls. The volume always comes out of the speaker in the phone, not the headphones. Is the headset exclusively for Bluetooth use? My iPod headphones work on my Curve and the Curve headphones work with my iPod, so I'm confused.
    I read the previous posts related to headset issues and I couldn't find an answer to this. Thank you!

    I'm having a similar problem... my blackberry headset does not work properly. I mean.. it was working when I first got it-- and then all of a sudden, it stopped. It was cold outside, and I never really thought about it again. I was frustrated... and about a week ago I called tech support to inquire...
    They siad my blacberry headset jack was most likely damaged, as:
    My boyfriend also has a blackberry, and I had the same problem with his out-of-box blackberry headset. (It would work, and then not work unless I pulled it out of the jack slightly).
    Regular headphones I use with my ipod worked just fine in my blackberry (curve, by the way).
     My headset worked in a sales associate phone when I took it into the store. Granted... my store doesn't fix blackberries-- they just have you send them in.
    Luckily... I'm under warently. I wish I weren't so in love with this phone... it seems to be really fragile. My last one was coming apart at the seams in the back around the battery come day 2....
    ... wait until you try to upgrade your phone's software...... whew. It's rough.

  • Iphone 6 headset issue

    Issues I have when playing music trough my headset
    - When I plug inn my headsett, music starts to play automatic.
    - If the cord bump into things, musikk stops (cant listen to music with phone in pocket)
    - Somethimes Siri starts
    - If i press down the cord the muic stops and start.
    This is on a new iphone 6, 64g
    I have tried diffrent headsets, same problem.
    Any idea what to do?

  • N97 Charging Funny Problem + Headset Issues

    I have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
    Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger. Any help regarding this matter will be deeply appreciated.
    Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.

    3 days but still no response. Anyways, I had my device taken to the local Nokia Care Outlet. It appears as though it was some hardware issue and I shall have my handset repaired in about a week. Since the warranty is still active, no problems what-so-ever.

  • Speaker and headset issue on iPad mini

    If I plug in my headset into the iPad, it continues to play music over the speaker. By the way, the headset is plugged in fully, so that is not the issue. Could it be a settings issue or is the connection broken?

    Mobile devices use weak embeded CPU. Sooner or later this will cause performance issue and app quality. You must use GPU rendering instead.
    Retina show vector also not sharp. It have the same pixeled edges. But looking on 2x resolution you don't see this. You can play with StageQualty for solving this. But I'm suggest don't use any vector because improving vector quality you will receive more and more CPU overload. Or you if never will play your App on weak and old devices.

  • New headset issue

    Hi, last November 7, i bought my first blackberry, 9360 to be specific. after trying everything it seems that when I'm listening to my music with full volume doesnt sound good. It sounds really bad. does any one experiencing this too. coz if ever I'm the only one got this kind of new headset. i will be asking for a replacement. pls reply guys. need your help.

    Being able to have a conversation clearly is definitely important when using a phone and it does concern us to hear you are having this issue. We will work together to get this resolved for you however. I would just like to clarify a few things to make sure we are on the same page. When you say headset are you speaking of  the phone itself or do you have headphones? Do you notice the same result when you are using the speakerphone?

  • Headset Issues: What Do You Use

    Ok, so I'm having issues with my headsets.
    I just recently purchased a Logitech Precision Gaming Stereo headset:

    and while it worked for a day and a half it no longer works (probably due to incapatability with the in-line but don't ask how it worked for a day and a half). I also have a Logitech 350 Headset

    that works occasionally via USB portal but even that is moody and won't power on or be recognized all the time. I'm assuming that comes from the issues that Logitechs and Macs have that I've been reading about.
    So, what will work on my computer?
    I basically will be using it for online gaming, and mostly through ventrillo. I prefer headsets (not overly bulky) that have a boom mic for noise reduction. If any of you have solutions to my current issue or recommendations for what mic to use I'd absolutely love the input.

  • Wired Headset issue with recording

When I try to speak during a call or record with the wired headset, the audio is not heard by the other person n doesn't seems to get recorded.<br><br>With a high volume of audio it gets recorded and it is very feeble to listen with full volume. The speaker of headset works well when I listen to mp3. Also the headset works well with other devices where it can record the sound with minimal effort.. I donno what's wrong with it.     Please try to isolate the issue by using another headset. If the other headset works fine, that means the one that you're using may be faulty.

  • Bluetooth headset issues

    Is anyone having issues with the Verizon 4S and dropping calls when using a BT earpiece? I have an ICON that when I am on a call and another call comes in...it drops both calls!

    i had better luck then u did, my sony ericsson bluetooth headset paired and worked fine with my macbook osx 10.4.6.
    only until i poped in a cd with a mix of home made short video clips the problem arised. when i try to preview them on finder the error msg same as urs pops up... even thou my bluetooth is switched off! every time i press the arrow key to move to n other clip the error msg pops up, really annoying. at the end i had to un-pair the headset to "solve" the problem.
    i hope the future apple update can solve this problem.

  • N80 V4 still has bluetooth headset issues

    As above really, thought this was resolved in the new firmware, but i am still having major problems hearing anything through the headset. It connects and pairs fine, and connection seems stable, but regardless of me changing the volume, i still can't hear anything through either a Sony Ericsson or Plantronics headset.
    Any ideas as to a resolution, or am i stuck with this annoying bug till the end of time....?

    The solution is very simple guys, though not pleasing to your hip pockets.
    Ultimately, Nokia has never been able to get the Bluetooth technology reasonably compatible across all other brands. It was atrocious at the first inception of it back in 2001 and whilst vast improvements were made over the years, the reality is my theory continues to remain true. That theory is, Nokia bluetooth audio products are the only products that work best with Nokia bluetooth capable phones. They don't work necessarily 100% (I lost count as to how many times I had to power cycle my HS-4W headset before it got stolen), but they do give you more mileage than a 3rd party product. The only exception I find to this is their ridiculous move with the 610/616 car phone kits in which several handsets made after 2005 seem to work only with the later model 616 car kit thereby forcing the user to spend more money. What's the point of going bluetooth if Nokia is going to screw the customer like this?
    Until Nokia learn to get it right, preferably using a Toshiba or Sony Ericsson based chipset, bluetooth audio will continue to be an absolute pain in the **bleep** outside of the Nokia accessories realm. Of course, maybe Nokia has a method behind this madness in terms of cornering the bluetooth accessories market but they won't fess up to that.

  • XFCE USB Headset issue

    XFCE has very annoying behavior with USB headsets.
    If I plug it in and select the headset via the xfce mixer sound just continues to play though my speakers. the only way I've gotten it to play out of the headset is installing pulseaudio and pavucontrol, in pavucontrol I can go to the playback tab and select the mic per application and then it works, but this is a PIA. I have properly setup pulse audio as far as I know, with pulseaudio-alsa, alsa-plugins, and an asound.conf file.
    I'd like it to play sound out of my headset in every application automatically when I select my headset in the mixer, and out of the speakers when I select the speakers, like gnome and kde do. Is there anyway to do this?

    Freaky, but you're right, it works.  I was just in the middle of a garageband recording when my headset (Logitech, not sure on model) kept disappearing on me.  I got a message saying it was disconnected when it was not, then it would come back only to have the same thing happen several seconds to minutes later.  Finally it left and wouldn't come back.  I rebooted thinking it was up too long (I've gone ninety days between reboots easily).  No dice.  So I found this.
    Plugged it into a powered usb hub and it's back.
    Very strange indeed.  Have any advice on the SD card slot refusing to see the same card every few uses?  lol  I love my macbook pro but this weird stuff... it's just beyond me now!

  • C5 content download and headset issue

    hi ,i recently bought a c5 about
    week ago and upgraded it to the latest firmware version 061.005 everything was seemingly running smoothly besides that whenever plugged in my headset (standarad packaged on w-102) and pushed the shuffle button on it it didnt responded this is the first time that i am facing problems with a headset .0.and my second problem related to it is that whenever i try to download any 3gp video or music from the nokia web browser it also dosent responds neither showing any downloading progress . . .pls help .

    I started the download and it was nearly complete, but then alerted me that I was out of disk space. Garageband cancelled the download since it couldn't finish, but apparently it didn't release the rest of the download.
    If that is the case, you must be dangerously low on disk space on your system drive. Never let the free space drop below 10GB at least, better 20GB free spacce. Otherwise you may experience a considerable drop in performance, if teh disk space decreasing more, risk crashes and data loss.
    The unfinished update is somewhere on my computer taking up space and I have no idea where it is.
    Where does Garageband store these additional sounds? I'm trying to get rid of everything, I don't want any of the sounds on my computer anymore.
    GarageBand installs the instruments and loops in the Instrument Library and the Loop Library:  Check these folders:
    /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/
    /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/
    If you delete any of tehse folders, GarageBand will not work any more. Are you sure you want to uninstall GarageBand completely?

  • Bluetooth Headset issue

    While the latest version of Osx has fixed the problem with bluetooth headsets not working properly, I have a couple questions on its usefulness.
    1) It seems that once setup, the mic stays hot the entire time its activated which runs the batteries down in no time. Is there a way to have the OS only activate the mic if I open a program that uses it like starting a call in skype?
    2) The mic in the OS constantly adjusts itself based on external noise, is there a way that I can set the gain in settings and it actually stays the way i set it? The internal mic seems to operate normally but the bluetooth constantly increases the gain until it begins to sound bad.

    I've got exactly the same pair (E71 + BH702). The ringtone comes to headset if "general" profile is activate on E71. It doesn't come if "meeting" profile is active.
    My problem is much more awful: very low volume when talking. How did you manage to increase volume with this headset ?
