Hebrew on the B'Berry 8830

Hello All,
i am a new member of this community.
recently i upgraded my phone from a b'berry 8703 to a b'berry 8830 world edition.
my old b'berry (8703) displayed hebrew font on every hebrew website i went onto, yet the new b'berry refuses to do so.
instead, it displays little boxes in place of the letters.
i tried to install the multilanguage software (v4.2.2) from this site yet it does not help.
no one at Sprint can help me as they all claim that the phone is incapable of displaying Hebrew.
is it true?
i find it hard to believe since my older phone could do it and my friend's curve can do it (without installing anything special)....
PLEASE HELP!!!

Just to update if some is interested - I found a way to enable Hebrew on the device.
I downloaded the T-Mobile Germany software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
And then in the software update in Blackberry Desktop it allowed me to enable Hebrew for display languages.

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

Does anyone else USE or have the Black Berry Messenger on their 8330 CURVE model B Berry ? 2. You have NOT mentioned any issues in your first post here other than you wish to be social, and now in your second post that you don't know how to add contact and wish me to email you directions. I don't give personal service, as a volunteer I answer questions right here in the threads.You'll just have to suffer through asking questions right here. It's a great forum where thousands of users have gotten help. And often, quite speadily as well.
3. Your last post is quite rude to a user who has spent lots of time helping users out around here, and quite honestly your words are uncalled for. Your ALL CAPS typing is considered yelling on internet forums such as this. No one likes to be yelled at. My mother taught me about gathering flys with honey rather than vinegar. You might try some honey yourself.
4. Adding BBMessenger contacts. Open BBMessenger > Menu > Add Contacts. Enter either the PIN of the other user you desire to add, or their email address. IF THEY are already on your BB Address Book, you can enter their name there. Follow the prompts you are given.

Cant see hebrew on the unix os

hi!
when i am spooling a file on unix and selecting data from a table contains hebrew charecter's data, i get a file full of ??????????? instead of hebrew.
spool try.txt
select 'name - ' || NAME
from names_tb
spool off;
brings out:
name - ????? ????
name - ???? ????????
when i sending the file to the windows os it still with ????????? instead of hebrew.
the thing is that i do have hebrew on the unix server (i can see hebrew, just not from the db).
does any one have a clue what i need to install / change in the server/db in order to see hebrew from the db?

now, we have another problem, I do not know if this is the right place to ask, but i will try:
We moved a critical part of our system (coded in java) to unix from windows.
while running, for some results the processes insert messages to the db (oracle 10g on the same machine). The error message are being taken from a resource file
(txt which contains CODE=message). the error message are in hebrew, but they are being inserted as ??????????? ??????? insted of hebrew to the db.
some facts:
1) We discovered that hebrew that coded directly in the java src "System.out.println("some hebrew words")" is being shoed as ??????????? on our unix too, but
when we insert it to the db we can see it well.
2) When we take the hebrew from the resource file (we can see it well in the unix) we cant understand it in the db.

get a message that the "message is too large, contact your admnistrator". I ghot a tip that using the OS 6.0
in the phone would solve the problem, well, it dis not! The only way I can see them is to forward to my Gmail account and then they open,,,please help!

Hebrew on the Lumia 800

Hi,
I live in Israel and considering to purchase the Lumia 800.
I know it does not have support for writing it Hebrew, but my question is wether or not it can display hebrew in incoming SMS and Emails.
I am looking for someone with the Lumio 800 who will be willing to help me out -- I would want to send you an SMS and Email and Hebrew and see if it works.

You cannot. Whoever set the password set it...and security on BB's is very good, so there is no back door. Seems that a cheap price was not cheap enough.

I'm using this code in nls_lang value in the registry to include Arabic and English languages in the data:
AMERICAN_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256
but how to include the hebrew language to be used in the data also Plz?
Note: I'm using Oracle DB 10g R2

Your database character set (SELECT value FROM nls_database_parameters WHERE parameter='NLS_CHARACTERSET') must be AL32UTF8 to support both Arabic and Hebrew. The client must be Unicode-enabled to enter both languages simultaneously.

I have downloaded fox fire 3 times in English and it stays in hebrew.. The directions such as open; close and the bookmarks are in hebrew

There are two accounts on this computer.. One belongs to Donna Jean.. This is the one that I am writing about. I have download Firefox 3 times in English language and it stays in Hebrew. The programs are in English but the open, close and directions at the top of the page is Hebrew.. Also my bookmarks are in Hebrew.

Ipod supporting the hebrew language

i have a 2nd gen. ipod, and because i come from Israel, i have music in hebrew, but the ipod does not support hebrew, so when the ipod is playing a song in hebrew, it won't display the song info.
is there anything i can download or anything else i can do to solve this problem?

I would suggest re-downloading the BlackBerry Desktop software from here: http://ca.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html
Then run the installer again and select English, this should be the first option during the install.
