Your iPod touch will never appear in Windows Explorer, by the way. It doesn't have the "disk mode" that the older iPods did.

Header and Welcome disappearing in PDF Portfolio

Good day,
The Header and Welcome pages disappear in my PDF Portfolio after saving and closing. It appears to be related to the most recent update, as I don't remember having this issue before. If I create the document from scratch and save, it appears on the first open; however, if I edit that document the problem repeats itself. These Portfolios will need to be updated on a fairly regular basis, and I would prefer not to have to constantly re-create them if possible.
I tried the trial of X (had heard bad things), but it doesn't have the same choices for layout styles and the file size has increased dramatically from 9 to X, likely related to upgraded look and feel (which feels cartoonish to me).
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Version 9.4.3 or X, if you can provide a source for layouts that allows a file preview.

This may be a known bug. See thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/3491158#3491158 , specifically the scenario/workaround Josh_Corey posted on March 7th at 6pm.
Does that resolve the issue?

I am running IE 11 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Service Pack 1. When I attempt to install Flash Player, it goes through all of the steps, tells me the player is installed, and welcomes me. I cannot open the player and it does not appear in the Start Menu, Task Manager, System Tray, or anywhere else. When I try to open a file, the site tells me Flash player is not installed. I have even downloaded it to a separate folder and ran the install with IE shut down completely. And Shockwave in ENABLED but in 32 bit .I have been trying to get this to work for about 3 weeks now. HELP!!!

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.

If the iPhone is locked to a US carrier, you cannot use the SIM card of another carrier on it to either activate it or use the iPhone.
If you want to use your iPhone with China unicom, you need to get it unlocked by your US carrier. Contact them to see what their unlocking policy is and if you qualify.

Hello and a question about Arrays

Hello! I am a student working towards a CIS degree, I'm only in my second term, so I have a long way to go still. Next term (starts in November) I'll be starting my first language (Java) so I figured this is a good spot to register and get acquainted with all of you.
Anyway, right now I'm in a programming logic and design class. In this class we use Pseudocode to get the basic constructs of programming down without doing anything language specific. I just read the chapter that introduces Arrays and had a difficult time following it. Could any of you take a minute and give me your definition of what exactly an array is and how it works? Or maybe point me to a link that might help me? I've got the 'jist' of it, but the book jumps right into algorithms using arrays without much explaination as to what they are.

Anyway, right now I'm in a programming logic andThink of an array as a series of boxes. These boxes store data for three
elements. So you would have three boxes that store one element of data.
So 'this' array has a capacity of three. If you want something bigger,
you'd create a array with more boxes, say 10. Then your array has a capacity of 10.
To get to anything from a array, you either need to :
a) go through all the elements of the array
b) or actually know the element you want to retrieve.
The second case is simple enough, you usually just specify the element you want. For example the first element would be zero.(counting starts from zero). The last element would be 9 (10 -1).
The first case requires some knowledge of looping, you'd generally itterate from the first until the last element of the array, in each and every element that you are at, do the stuff you need to do. This will go on until the end of the array is reached.

I'm not giving you any specific java code because you didn't ask for any and you were doing a course that wasn't language specific. So I figured that may be a simpler explanation(was it?) was in order.

Hello and Thank You for your help!, I recently uninstalled malware from my computer. Since then I cannot open my gmail account and retrieve my email. ail.

I removed the ASK tool bars from my computer and since then I keep being told the cookies is either enabled or disabled. I refreshed Firefox and that solved nothing it just erased somethings that I setup on my desktop. I'm not dump but I'm not that well versed in resolving this issue and I don't want to make matters worse.......please help! And thank you so much! One more thing......I can still retrieve my email using Explorer but chose not to because of the lack of support for XP which is what I have. Again Thank You

Good afternoon and thank you John99!... for the reply and advice to my problem the other day. To give some insite to the issue I presented...the ASK toolbar was somehow downloaded onto my laptop and I not knowing that it was as malware and dangerous to my computer at first I left there. I did not like the fact that it was there and how it seemed to take over my setup. Well I looked into it which was fairly easy and found out what I did about Mindspark...not good! I also discovered while trying to solve the problem after receiving you responseto this problem that JAVA ORACLE can carry the Ask toolbar thru their updates. When OKed an update I found it wanting to add the ASK toolbar. I know that in the past I have not allowed other things that carry the ASK toolbar to download this because I liked what I had already setup. Well some where along the way it got downloaded. Anyway...I tried what you had suggested and nothing has changed. I receive email's thru Exployer and bring up my desktop to get onto Mozilla. This is not working!!! I just want to get onto Firefox, click into gmail and anything else I want and use it!..I can assure you that the one thing I cannot do is get into my gmail. It wants to tell my about my cookies...I have pressed all the right buttons and this is not solving anything at all. I was wandering that if I remove Firefox and download it again will this solve the problem. And will I be able to use all the same information or will I find it telling me that someone else already has that email, password, name, etc. because it did not clear everything when I removed Firefox from my computer? Remember, I'm not an expert on computers so any information you may have or suggestions you can give would be highly appreciated but step by step details are also welcome and needed! Check the installation and the system permission of your machine and check if the version is Beta 2 or Beta 3. What's for a Service Pack is on your Machine.
By the installation from IE7 is a eventually possible a Installation from MS Defender. Check it.
Make it a reinstallation from IE7 and make a new Installation.

I cancel the window, and see all the disk fine, but one disk Unknown, Disk 1: 1,37 Gb --- Unallocated.

Windows Hello and Biometric drivers

I have a HP Elitebook 8760W which I recently upgraded from Windows 7 64 Pro to Windows 10 64 Pro. All went well except I can't get the fingerprint driver to work with either Windows Hello service or the HP SimplePass program. I have a Validity 471 driver installed that seems to be recognized by Windows 10 and shows as active in the Device Mgr. I can get Windows Hello to read the initial fingerprints but when I reboot it refuses to recognize the fingerprint reader.The HP SimplePass program does not work at all. When I upgraded I had to remove the HP Protecttools in order to do the upgrade. I later tried to install the latest software with Windows compatibility mode. Still no love with the Simplepass program. I really don't want to use the HP software. All I want to do is be able to log on with my fingerprint reader. I don't understand why the Windows 10 Hello program won't work with a valid biometrics driver. All I can surmise is that this driver is not totally compatible with Windows 10. Has anyone been able to make the biometrics fingerprint reader work with Windows hello in Windows 10? I wish HP would step up to the plate and update their software! Any help with the Validity 471 driver would be appreciated.

Here is some additional info on trying this driver to work with Microsoft Hello: After the driver is loaded, I'm able to bring up the Windows Hello fingerprint setup program. I'm also able to scan in my finger prints with no problem. Hello says I'm all setup for the next login. I reboot my computer and I get an error message on the main screen that say that it is having trouble identifying me. I don't understand why I would be getting this message when I am setting it up to use the fingerprint scanner. I try to scan my fingerprint on this screen - nothing happens. I hit enter to go to the password screen. I swipe my finger print across the reader again - nothing happens. I then select the option to use the finger print to longon. I swipe my finger again - nothing happens. I then go to my usual pin based logon and login. There appears to be some kind of problem with Microsoft's biometric program and how it interacts on login with my Finger print reader. Once again, I'm using an HP Elitebook 8760W with a Validity VFM - 471 driver. If anyone knows what the problem with this is, please let me know. I've exhausted all of my options to make this work.

Hello and HELP! Over the years I have saved Invoices in my Documents. I have just tried to open them and all I am getting is " cannot be opened, Invoice**** is used by another user, do you want to make a copy?" That's on all my invoices.

Can someone help please.
I have just "lost" ( cannot open) all my saved Invoices in the Document folder. All I am getting is " cannot open, Invoice ** is used bey another user, do you want to make copy? " That doesn't work either. I can't get anything on the time capsule either. How can I reset to an earlier time? Or what can I do?

Did you recently reinstall the OS then copy all your files back over? Do a Get info on one of the documents and see if your current UserName is listed and has Read & Write permissions. If not select the Documents folder and check that for Read & Write permissions for your UserName. If it doesn't have R & W permissions Add it so it does.

First close out all open apps: Click the Home key twice, and then swipe up on each of the thumbnails showing above the open app icons until all of them are swiped off
Then go to Settings>Safari and under the Privacy & Security section make sure the "Block Cookies" option is either set to "From Third Parties" or "Never".
Then try to do the agreement again.

Hello and a question about connecting to SAP B1 c#

Good morning I have been having a few issues trying to connect to a SAP B1 database via c#
I have installed the SDK but find the documents to be a bit sparse. Would anyone be able to point me towards a decent example or manual? Thanks.
I basically need to know exactly how to format the data of an order so I can create a new sales order (via c#)

edit: looking at some posts it seems my sdk is missing many samples it should have? I downloaded it from the main site so I dont see how this is possible.
The only sample folder I have is:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Development Environment\Samples\UsingUDOGeneratedClassSample

You seem to have downloaded the B1DE (Business One Development Environment) which is almost like a wrapper that has been created around the standard SDK to make some aspects of development easier.
Personally, I do not use it but you will see there are many who do use it!
Either way, the SDK samples and helpfile will come with the Business One SDK - this is included with any B1 installer or patch, in a subfolder called "Packages\SDK". The samples are extremely useful, and the helpfile although not the best is also a great resource.
If you don't have a patch or installer, you can contact your SAP partner (or if you work for a partner can just ask your IT guy) and install it from there. I would not advise trying to start working the SDK without at least taking a look at the a few of the samples provided with the SDK.
(PS the SDK will isntall to: C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK by default)
