Hello, how can I transfer music from my iPhone to my iTunes library. New computer and old one not abailable. Purchased items already done. Need to transfer 1200  songs. Thanks guys really need help

    See https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141.  You will read in this article that music on your phone not purchased from iTunes cannot be synced to your iTunes library.  To transfer this music you will have to use 3rd party software such as Touch Copy (or re-rip you CDs with iTunes to import them).

    Yes, this is certainly possible. You can use iPhone Explorer and install it on your computer; it's free.

    Use a third party PC/Mac application like Senuti to transfer the music to your iTunes library.

    If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up. 
    You should have a look in:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons
    /Library/Extensions
    You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

    The iphone is not a backup/storage device.  The sync is one way - computer to iphone.  The only exception is itunes purchases:  File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
    Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
