Does anyone how I can get a brand new iPhone 3GS as a warranty replacement for my iPhone 3GS? I already had the phone replaced once with a refurbished phone that has a problem with becoming frozen and unresponsive. This occurred ten times since I got the phone on 4/16/2011. I have tried doing a hard reset and have also restored the phone as a new device. I have an Apple Care plan. I am concerned that the refurbished phones will not be reliable due to my experience with the refurbished one that I got as a replacement.

I got a brand new iPhone 12 days ago, it was faulty from the beginning. New Phone?
So, the day i got my white iPhone 4s 16 GB it already started to turn itself off at all times.
Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every hour.
So, i sent it in since the next Apple Store is a 2 hour car ride from where i live.
The first time it got back to me and the information sheet said that there was nothing wrong with my iPhone and that i probably just synched it wrong.
But the day i got it back it started acting up again. Same Problem as before.
So...i send it in again telling the really nice man at the Apple Support Hotline that i would like to have a replacement for my new but faulty iPhone, he responded that he will see what he can do.
The repair statis quotes that a replacement Phone is pending.. Does that mean i get an all new one??
As the title said my Phone is only 12 years old. Does the 14 days thing from Apple include replacements for Phones which have been sent in for service?
Thanks for your answer!Replacements via Apple tech support are usually refurbished units, not new stock, though none of us here can say with certainty what you will receive. But you will not be able to tell the difference between new stock and a refurbished unit, and refurbished units generally go through more extensive testing than do new units, so getting a refurb may well be better than getting new stock.

Hi all, i can't sync over wifi between my iPhone 4 and Windows 7 64 bit, wifi sync works with the same phone and my Windows 8 machine so the problem seems confined to Windows 7. I've tried solutions from other threads -
Making sure everything is allowed through firewall
Rebooting phone/laptop/router
Disabling ipv6
Disabling all networks except the one curently on
Re-installing iTunes
Restoring iPhone
No luck with any of those unfortunately so i just thought i'd see if anyone else is still without wifi sync after trying those as well and if you ever found a fix, thanks.I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

I get a error message "To charge faster, use the cable and device that were provided with this phone" when charging my Samsung Galaxy note 3. I took it to a store last week and they said it has something to do with the last software update. They tried charging it at the store and got the same message. I was given another phone, I still get the same error with the new phone.

You have a couple of options for transferring your music library from one computer to another. First, you can download all of your music that is stored in the cloud on iTunes Match by following the instructions on this page:

You can follow steps listed in the section right here:
Play or download songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button next to it.
To play the song, double-click it.
To download the song, click the Download button.
After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iTunes Match.
To only display downloaded songs in your iTunes library, choose View > Hide Music in the Cloud. This also hides any previous iTunes Store purchases you haven’t downloaded.
For information about downloading and playing songs on an iOS device, see the documentation for the device.
In order to make it easier to download all of your music, you can highlight all of the songs in your iTunes Match section and then click download, as mentioned in these instructions.
You can also choose to transfer the music from your old computer to the new one by following the steps in this article, whcih will give you some other options for doing this transfer:

My iPhone 4 has been lost recently. I had turned my Find my iPhone enabled and my passcode was also on. Now that I lost my phone, the person who find my phone cannot be tracked in my assumption. Because, he can never get connected to other wifi when unknown passcode is there. So, please tell me any suggestions that helps me find my iPhone or track it.

If who ever has your phones - tries to unlock it while connected in any manner - you will be able to see the location on the icloud site

New iphone 6+ and no means of moving my music library to the phone...
I haven't been this frustrated with my Mac/Phone setup in years.... I got a new iPhone 6+ today and am not seeing what I'd expect to see in the "Music" tab under the device vis-a-vis options. I do have iTunes Match and have tried it both turned on and off. What I want to do is move my extensive music library from my MacBook Pro to the new iPhone and the checkboxes I used to see on my iPhone 5 are no longer there.... That is to say, even though I subscribe to iTunes Match, i want the music to be "on" my phone when I'm in the air, on the lake or golf course outside of celldata or wifi range. What gives???? My daughter and me use the same cloud and apple id to buy songs in the past. I got first iphone 5 and after trying to set up itunes to phone I ended up with all my daughters contacts from her iphone on my iphone. I then deleted them from my phone one by one and now they are gone from her phone as well. How does she get them back on hers and what happen???? Help with cloud!
That's what happens when you share the same iCloud account. First, migrate his phone to a different iCloud account using a different ID (you can continue to share the same ID for other services such as iTunes if you want). To do this, on his phone save any photo stream photos that he wants to keep to his camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If he are syncing notes with iCloud that he wants to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to him so he can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in his new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your phone), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload the data. After doing this, he can go to icloud.com and safely delete your data from his new account.
Then, if your contacts were on your phone when you last backed it up to iCloud, you can restore them by following Winston Churchill's user tip here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. This involves turning off your wifi after your phone restarts during the restore process, then saving the contacts on your phone and deleting them from iCloud prior to turning your wifi back on and allowing the restore process to finish. You can turn off your wifi either by pulling the cord out of the WAN port in your wifi router, or by simply unplugging it. -
When i got my new iphone 5c i updated it when there was a update and it was fine until i plugged in the headphone that i got with the phone siri goes off every minute?!! Something i dont even use or need goes off every minute
I tried to disable siri but the it did the same thing with voice control please make an option to disable all these things because i never use siri but there it is going off without being called upon please fix sooooon!!!!It sounds as if the button in the headphones is stuck and that is what is doing it. In the one wire of the headphones is a button to activate Siri. It is very possible something is wrong with that. Does the phone activate Siri all the time when the headphones are not plugged in? The headphones have the same warranty as the phone. Take the device with the headphones back to the Apple store and they can replace them.

You can transfer the purchases you made on your old iPhone 3 by plugging it in to iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from your IPhone to the iTunes on your computer. This will get music you purchased in iTunes, apps, etc. (e.g., movies).
But for the rest you would need to restore a backup of your newly deceased computer. -
I ahve two phones on one apple ID, how can i track them both using find my friend?
I have an iphone 5 (work phone) and a 4 (home cell) both using the same iCloud and apple log-in. Only my iphone 5 shows up on find my freinds app and when i try to invite the "4" i get an error that you cannot invite yourself (it previously showed up before i got the 5).... I use my 4 for running etc and would like my wife and freinds to be able to track me if i get in trouble or am late for dinner
You're most likely gonna need another verified email address associated with your Apple ID to make this work. You'd then use that email address on the iPhone 4.

I just updated my iphone 3GS on itunes. It deleted my ipod on the phone as well as in itunes. My music is still in the library, but no ipod under devices. Does anyone know what happened and how to get either or both back?
Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.
Did you fail to transfer any purchases on iphone ( that were not on your computer) to your computer before updating? If so, then you will have to redownload:
