I bought a iPad Mini in January and the lightning charging cable is having issues very sensitive and will stop charge if moved to much.theres no sign of damage on the cord and it doesnt get bent. so is this a common thing with these cables? it seems to be loose by the neck of the lightning pin it just started 2 days ago. thought it was my power sources, though now I've confirmed it's the cable that's loose. does anyone else have this issue? does anyone have a suggestion for a better cable that's durable? I have seen a lightning cable flat wire, which seems to be a better choice. though I'm not sure. it needs to be durable and long it seems to be hard to find the best one. so any suggestions?
why dont they make other types of offical Apple lighting cords is that so hard? Theres ones out there by other companys who have made the lightning cord wire thicker and more durable, its like the choices at the moment are keep getting a replacement cord from Apple until (A) you get one that stays working or (B) the year warrenty run out and your forced to buy a new cord..... well I'll be on route to contacting apple for a replacement cord and pray and hope that I get to stick to plan (A) I thank all who have replied. though I have a new question to the community before this topic gets solved or closed. How does the replacement thing work with Apple? I just need a new cord I have the online receipt for the Ipad mini purchase, they don't need my iPad mini too right? its just the cord that gets sent to them, then they send me another? and is there any suggestions on what to do with the new cord coming to make it last a long time? headphone tubing, tape etc. Any suggestions would be helpful. After updating my iphone 4 to iOS 5, it refused to read my att SIM Card. I went to the Apple store (Lennox Mall, Atlanta Georgia) for help, they told me that it was an Att problem, and needed me to get a brand new Sim Card from Att. I went to Att and replaced my SIM Card to a new one. I later returned to the Apple store, but the phone still didn't work. The apple techs blamed the att network, and stated I needed to go home and wait for 24-48 hrs, and retry the att network again, and hopefully the phone will work. The next option they gave me was to pay $200.00 to get a replacement because my phone was out of warranty.
So I basically I have a phone which has never been dropped, not abused, no water damage or what so ever. Prior to my IOS 5 update, it worked perfectly without any problems. Now, that its not working as a result of either Apple's or Att's fault, no one seems to be helping or standing behing their product. Both parties are blaming each other for the problem. Can someone help??I've seen a number of reports of this on here. In most cases where people took their phones in to the Apple store, they were given a replacement, even if the phone was out of warranty.

If she is receiving your messages - then you must have somehow setup the iPad to use your iPhone number or your email address on her new iPad. How you did that is beyond me unless you set up her new Mini for her and used your Apple ID on it.
On her iPad got to - Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>uncheck your phone number or email address of that is what is being used for the contact number. -

Hello there, started to sinc my iPad 3 to my iPhone 5 with iCloud and a lot off the items did copy over, I was connected to a power supply but for some reason it's still missing half the items and I am struggling to retrieve them can you help please.
Thank you Callum GordonWell the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

An apple representative told me its ok to buy a Ipad mini wifi cellular because they are NOT locked devices, I can just take the at&t chip out and put in another carrier. and it will work
I thought apple change the name from Wifi + 3G to Wifi + Cellular because it has features to work just like a cell. e.g. recive calls and text etc.

Right. But as I understand it, the aGPS is a function that speeds location using cell signals, but isn't necessary for the GPS signal. I can buy a plugin device that is a real GPS that I can use with my iPad mini. However, I would need an app for maps. I was wondering if anyone had used one of these.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. Happened to me once, about 6 months ago, and a reset got it working again.

I am not being critical, but you seem to want Safari to behave exactly like Chrome. Every software developer has a plan. Sometimes features in one product parallel other products - sometime not. There might be some things available that would help you. Do not hold your breath, however, for suggestions from people who use these forums. Most of us use (and like) Apple products. If you wish to make suggestions for future improvements, there is a feedback area on this web site that Apple employees read/review.
Candidly, your approach would be akin to suggesting that Apple emulate the "features" in Windows (heaven forbid).
I use Safari (and have for years). I use Firefox (not a bad product) as my alternate browser.
Sorry for what appears to be a pedantic lecture. However, I think most of us adapt to different products if we really want to use them.

You're going to have to get that info about his iTunes account if it's on iOS 7. Does it at least show the username it needs?

Did you ever back up your phone on the computer?
Did you use photo stream at all?
May I suggest changing your passcode lock to a letters and numbers lock (if not all ready it will make your iphone more secure and a restore lock otion shouldent be needed). Then change your setting as well preventing restore after ten incorect passwords.

File transfer via Bluetooth is not supported without a third party app on both devices.
Forget Bluetooth (which is quite slow anyway) and use a cloud service like Dropbox.
