Hello! I've downloaded the latest version of iTunes, but since then my iPhone wouldn't sync! Can anybody help me out, please? I have a Windows8

HI! As I've written on the title, since I've downloaded the iTunes latest version, I'm not able to sync my iPhone5 anymore... it just doesn't sync. I've already checked the usb cable, and uninstalled the software and downloaded again... and it's just the same. I have a Window 8 and I'm not receiving a running error problem... so... Can anybody over there, help me, please? I will really appreciate it. Thank you.

Yes reinstalled itunes a couple of days ago but got it sorted now thanks, the problem was that when i wiped my computer last week and reinstalled everything using the discs the free McAfee anti virus that the computer came with was still in my all programmes list although i aren't using it. This morning i tried unistalling that (didn't think it would make any difference as the programme wasn't active) once uninstalled i pluged the ipod in and hey presto it is now recognised by itunes, THANK GOODNESS. So panick over for now, thank you very much.

    Then I click 'Oke'....to tell the system I want to start the program. Then I get another pop-up: 'securitywarning......'
    Then I click on ' continue' and I have to choose a program to open this program. I can choose from iexplore.exe or firefox.exe.
    If I choose for firefox.exe.....nothing happens.
    Quit strange. I am quit well with computers, but this is really strange to me.

    I finally figured out what was wrong.  Since I had installed Google Chrome recently it already had the Adobe Flash Player imbedded in it. 
    When I uninstalled the flash player in Control Panel option the problem went away.

    You should still be able to manually manage the music on your iPhone within iTunes. Make sure that when your iPhone is plugged in, look in the Summary tab to see if “Manually manage music and videos” is enabled and you can even you turn off Automatically Sync when this iPhone is connected. Take a look at the first article below to give more information on that. As far as your other questions about calling someone, I have provided two options for you.     I tried to download the latest version of iTunes but failed half way through. It suggested that i reinstall we I tried. However, i now get this message which states "Application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"
    I have tried this but with no success. I have therefore found that I cannot access my iTunes library at all now.
    What should I do.

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    I have had to restore my pc to a place back in time when it worked correctly. This meant that iTunes was deleted. I have now downloaded the latest version of iTunes but I cant sync my iPad with it. I get the message that this iPad is synced with another iTunes Library and cant sync to this one.  Thankfully all my music library is on iPad. I would be grateful for some help on this issue

    When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
    After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
    PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

    - I would start with
    Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
    or               
    Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
    However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Featurs appin the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
    - New cable and different USB port
    - Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

    Contact Adobe. That is what I finally had to do. the number is 1-800-833-6687. There was a problem with a file. They took over my computer and got everything working for me.

  • Appears I have downloaded the latest version of itunes, but stays the same

    I have been trying to update to the latest version of itunes, and after I click on "download version 11" it quickly says "thank you for downloading the latest software". No install process appears to happen, and i go to open itunes and its still a previous version. I have tried updating through the control panel as well, but it has not worked. I can't seem to connect to my son's itouch with the current version on my pc.

  • Why is it whenever I download the latest version of itunes, it cant detect my iphone?

    It's the second time, as I've not had my iphone for long, but the 2 times I've downloaded an update for itunes, it hasn't been able to detect my iphone, and this is after the checking of USB ports, turning my phone off and on again, and restarting the pc. 
       Does anybody know why this keeps happening and, if so, how I can avoid it in future?

    wow, found the solution to my own problem if anyone else is having the problem I described above, try restarting the Apple device service, I believe it has an abbreviation like AMDS or probably just AMS, but when you look under itunes not detecting my iphone 4, I found the link there.

  • I have unistalled iTunes and I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes, but I can't get the download to open/run.  Any suggestions?

    I was updating iTunes to version 11.1.4 and the installation failed.  I follwed all the steps from the Apple Support website to uninstall iTunes.  The Apple Mobile Device Support would not uninstall, but I proceeded based on info from the support community.  I am now trying to download and install iTunes.  I show that iTunes has downloaded, but I cannot get the installer program to open/run.  Any suggestions for what I might try?

    What version if the OS do you have? What version of iPhoto did you have, what version did you download (and from where), what version do you have currently installed and what is the exact error message you get?
