Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.
Also see:

since you may have started the 90 day window.
For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing.

When i plugged my ipod into the computer it started to make buzzing and screeching noises. It became hot so i removed it and then the screen froze while it continued to make these noises. I have never had anything like this happen.

(never gotten it wet or had it exposed to extreme temperatures) It is also unresponsive to any buttons on the ipod and it didn't show up when i plugged it into my computer. What do I do? Also if it is unfixable could i get a free one from apple?

When i plugged my ipod into the computer it reset with the new update and all my music on the ipod disappeared but the library showed my playlists still. Now its showing it as currupt and i cant even bring itunes up. What can I do? HELP please

What can I do to fix this. I cant bring anything itunes related up without that popup telling me it is currupt, and that I have redue it. Everytimg i have tried, it does the same thing. It was working once so I dont understand what went wrong and where. This is the 5th time redoing itunes, I've even tried restoring old versions. Nothing seems to be working.
