Help accessing or finding images in embedded libraries

My library lives on an external drive. When the drive isn't attached iPhoto will create a new library for images I am trying to import from my camera.
Today I didn't realize my external had been disconnected, and although at the time of import the external was connect iPhoto created a new library, which ended up somehow being embedded in the original library.
I can't "show contents" of the embedded library, nor can I access it when choosing a library when opening iPhoto with the option key down. I can see the embedded library when viewing the contents of the original library package.
I tried making a copy of the embedded library to a more top level directory.. I can see it when opening iPhoto, but it's not recognized as a library. I know there are photos in it, it's 34.8 MB.
How do I get to the photos in there so I can export them and properly import them into the original library?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I chose to "delete original" from my camera before realizing where I had just imported all my photos.
I'm using iPhoto version 8.

In the Finder:
Use the Go Menu and select 'Go To Folder'
In the resulting window type
/Volumes
And hit return. A Finder window will open at that location. Can you see another iPhoto Library there? If so, drag it to the desktop

When you attach things, make sure to check the box that says [√] Send Windows-Friendly attachments

You can use the Creative cloud Desktop to uninstall/reinstall. Sometimes you may be asked to sign in, but since you signed up and paid for your account, you should be good to go. Also not I have both Photoshop CC and CC 2014. You can install both free of charge and then you have two working copies of Photoshop.
So to uninstall, click on the gear that you see next to CC 2014. When it is done uninstalling, there should be an "Install" button.

1- Update the firmware to:

2- Open terminal and use this command to mount:
sudo mount -t nfs -o resvport <server ip address>:/mnt/ide1/<sharename> /<mounting point>
OR: apple+K (( connect to server)):
smb://username:password@<server address>/<sharename>

and I realize that I can't access in Finder Contextual Menu the sub-menu named More for choose Automator > Create Workflow... from the sub-menu.

That page is out of date since it doesn't reflect the change in Snow Leopard that did away with the More contextual menu. Try this. System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->Development->enable Create Workflow. Close the prefPane, select the object, CONTROL-click->Services->Create Workflow.
If that solves your issue, then send a message to the page's developer and ask them to update it.

I found following message presented in syslog since today evening, however, the system is running fine so far.

It could mean that these two files are missing from the Console.app, where it should go into the folder Resources of the folder Contents. For some reasons, they don't seem to get installed with Lion under certain circumstances.
Right-click Console.app (in the Applications/Utilties folder) and open those folders, then copy the two files BackArrow.png and ForwardArrow.png into the Resources folder).
On my machines, this helped the messages go away (end even stopped some sporadic freezing :-)
I just took the corresponding files from the Console.app of my previous Snow Leopard installation (same place).

This is to inform you that, I am not expecting SCN or anyone to spoon feed me. I believe in IT industry Spoon feeding is not going to help in long time to survive. I am also using google,scn,sap technical.com and so many sites for my queries and learning.Please remember I am working in IT for long. Why should I expect people to spoon feed me.
I have posted this question, because already many people might have searched and got some good and best articles with examples. So by believing that I will get good articles from the experts I have posted, but not for spoon feeding.
I agree that whatever you have pointed in this post are good suggestion, but please before answering to such issues, please think in which situation they are seeking other's help.

Any way to access ddimage forensic images?

Hi - I've been given a series of drives that supposedly contain images of a bunch of Mac HD's. The drives all contain folders and files named like this:
qhq005qla1
qla51ddimage.001
qla51ddimage.002
qla51ddimage.003
qla51ddimage.029
Each drive has two to five such folders on it, and each folder contains around 5 to 150 or so sequentially numbered documents. Hours of Googling have told me that these are ddimage forensic images, and I've downloaded and/or bought several Windows and Mac utilities that can supposedly access these, but so far no luck. Does anyone have any experience with this, and can you suggest a way that I can mount these images to see what's in them? Ideally I'd like to copy all the files in these images to an NFS that I have here. Thanks for any help.

Finding images that have been 'protected' while in camera

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows how to find images that you protect while they're in your camera? I have a Canon 5D Mark II, and I can select images to 'lock' or 'protect' .. I use that to mark images that I believe are key images while on a shoot.
With Photo Mechanic I can select 'tagged' images .. and those images I have marked in my camera will be selected.
I've tried to figure out if its something I can find in exif .. and have had no luck.
Please help!

There should be a Smart Collection called "Without Keywords" in the Collections Pane of the Library Module. That will automatically contain what you are looking for.
If that isn't there, click on All Photographs then use the Filter Bar>Metadata and filter on Keywords....the top entry (None) will be what you are looking for.

Upload the images to the images folder and use the markup as you have been using in the following, changing the name of the image to suit.

Access all my images on iphone

How can I access all my images in my iPhone? For reasons beyond explaining I don't have all the images on my desktop and Aperture only let's me import the last 29 images, but I need to access all 400+.

You cannot access the photo library, just like you can't access the music library.
Don't know why, that just is.
You could use a transfer app to pull the photos out of the albums into the app and remove them through the app.
Or you could get an app like "wifi photo transfer"
which lets you download images at full res', and can also zip them.
There are other ways that Google can help with, but we can't.
Against TOS to tell you how to access them direct.

I found my old laptop was very slow when processing the hundreds of images I usually take on a weekly basis. I bought a new faster laptop but when I looked for the cd with the software and serial I could not find it in the Xmas clutter. I downloaded a trial version of lightroom and got it working on my new laptop. Is there a way to access the serial number from my previously installed version and insert it into the trail version to make it work for me?

Mea culpa
While i registered all my cs2 thru 6 versions and my lightroom 2 thru 4 versions and recorded the serials and saved the adobe registration emails. Since this came as a freebee with the camera i neglected this vital step. I have the instslled version on my old laptop but want to install it on my new one. Thanks to Jim Hess I got the serial so all is well in my world and I will register it with ADOBE
