Help : After upgrade to IOS5, I only can use my iphone 3gs in Spore instead of Msia. Any1 know what is the problem & how to solve it?!
I bought iphone 3gs in singapore last year,I had no problem to use it in Singapore & Malaysia but after i upgrade to ios5,i can't use it in malaysia.It will automatic restart my phone itself. Is it because of IOS5 problem?!Because when I register my itune a/c, I selected the country is Singapore. Anyone know what is the problem & how can I solve it?!
If it automatically restarts the phone firmware is corrupt. Restore the phone with iTunes and set up as a new phone, do not restore your backup, which is likely where the corruption is. If it then works you can try restoring just the backup. If that breaks it again you know where the problem is; you will have to start over and manually reinstall your content.
To restore just the backup, right click on the phone's name in iTunes and select "restore from backup"

1) If you have OD set up and "editor" has UID 1111, then when they log in to any machine that's bound to OD as editor, they will get UID 1111. Therefore, there won't be any of these permission errors. This is typically the recommended approach.
2) I assume you mean "You'd prefer to not using open directory?" Whatever the case, OD isn't mandatory with Xsan -- it's just that with multiple user accounts, managing them centrally tends to be easier. For 3 or 4 accounts and 3 or 4 machines maybe it's no big deal. If you go larger, it could get a lot more complicated. That said, if you set it up such that each machine has the exact same set of users (as you said, Mary = UID 502, Fred = UID 503, William = UID 504), then you can do what you want. Mary can log in from multiple machines at the same time, and in general you won't have permissions problems. Of course, if you try and read and write the same file from multiple workstations at the same time, you will get file locking issues, which will prohibit somebody from successfully writing the file.
File locking issues are different from general permissions errors. The former basically says "hey, someone else is editing this file. Therefore I won't let you edit it right now... you can read it if you want though." Permissions means somebody saves it, and Xsan thinks you saved it and own the file, when you really don't.

I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Sometimes i cannot conenct to WIFI even standing infront of WIFI router. Please help, restoring setting even didn't helped.
Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :) -

It took all night to encode my video files into proress 422 using compressor.
I used compressor because FCPX would not even run or simply crash. Im using an Intel Mac 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 OSX 10.6.8
After the encode I'm able to work on FCPX but it's running like a snail, the video and audio will not play smooth and the windows or event library will not update after clicking the next folder. And if I use an effect or transition FCPX will crash.
Now if I use FCP7 everything runs so smooth and it runs light years over FCPX
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? I'm trying my best to like FCPX and really work on this project but I have lost two days of work, just by watching this application run so slow.your in the wrong discussion, go here:

Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the third-party developers, or to follow their instructions. In some cases it may be necessary to re-download or even reinstall the software in order to get rid of it.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, email the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software. -

Put the phone in DFU mode (google it) and restore as new.
When prompted during the restore process, select restore from an iCloud backup, enter your Apple ID credentials and the device will restore. Once complete, everything should be as it was without the passcode.
FYI, syncing photos to PhotoStream on iCloud is NOT a backup. It merely keeps the last 30 days and a set number of photos... anything beyond that rolls off PhotoStream.
You really should be using the device as designed, meaning regularly copying pictures/videos taken with the device off to a computer.
Contacts, if configured, should be synced to iCloud based on your statements above. -

I have created about 50 scenarios and all the scenarios will be checked any files in queue table to process for every 60 seconds. My problem are:-
When i start about 10 scenarios the files processing is fast and its take about 1 minute to complete the file processing. But once I start more scenarios the process becomes slow and some of the scenarios look keep idle (or sleep) event more than 10 minute... Why ?... Music is never sync'd back across, its always done manually. Apps should automatically sync back across after you restore from backup.

I have problem with my Ipod touch when I upgrade it with ios 6. I cannot turn it off. I have alrealy followed the troubleshooting instructions to press both the off/sleep button and the home button but still it will not turn off. I cannot use my ipod anymore for it is just hanging up.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
