Help for a JCO rookie: How to feed import parameter into BAPI_USER_CREATE1

Hi,
I want to use JCO and BAPI_USER_CREATE1 to create users in SAP systems, following the steps in the JCO tutorial.
I have difficulties with suppying the import parameters, for example "PASSWORD"
function.getImportParameterList().setValue("XYZ","USERNAME");
is working, but
function.getImportParameterList().setValue("SECRET","PASSWORD");
-->Cannot convert a value of 'GEHEIM' from type java.lang.String to STRUCTURE at field PASSWORD
runs into an error.
Can someone be so kind to provide a code snippet or a link to "how to deal with import structures in JCO"??

the field password is of type Structure. Hence you will need to something like the following -
JCO.Structure passStructure = function.getImportParameterList().getStructure("PASSWORD");
passStructure.setValue("GEHEIM", "BAPIPWD");
That should do the trick.

No worries.
If you are using a font manager, it will either have an activate or install option in it. The help file for the particular font manager likely has the process written down.
If you are not using a font manager, then depending upon your OS, you simply install them. I am using Windows and so installing a font is as easy as right-clicking on the font file and choosing install. I have no idea how to installa font on a Mac if that's what you are using. Either OS font installation can easily be Googled, though, if you are not sure.

Possibly. Media Go supports a variety of music formats, some of which can be imported in to iTunes and then synced on to an iPhone, however some of its formats cannot be imported in to iTunes.
See http://mediago.sony.com/enu/supported-file-formats/ for a list of formats supported by Media Go. iTunes for Windows supports MP3, AAC, WAV, and can import and convert WMA files as well. However iTunes does not support ATRAC, or FLAC.
Furthermore, if some of your music has been bought from an Internet music store it might be procted by DRM. If so it cannot be imported in to iTunes.
To do the importing you would either drag the music files in to iTunes, or tell iTunes to open them. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1347

If you can open a Finder Window to your photos, you can drag them in to an iMovie project from the Finder.
Some third party apps might support drag and drop, but I haven't got Lightroom to test it. If drag and drop from LightRoom does not work, try exporting from LightRoom into a Finder folder and drag them in from there.

I am trying to feed a cluster into the mathscript. I found that if the name of the cluster element does not have any space or special characters, it works pretty well. But it doesn't run if the name of the cluster elements have any special characters. Is it how Mathscript designed? Any workaround here?

So, to answer your question more specifically, the rule for naming of elements within a cluster passed into the Node is,
"You must label individual elements of the cluster. Labels must start with an alphabetic character and can contain only alphanumeric characters and underscores without any spaces."
This should account for the behavior you're seeing with your code!

I actually figured it out...I had to go to the iTunes Library Extras.itdb file and give myself permission to have full control. THEN, I could go and estore a previos version. Once I had done this, I got the same message for iTunes Library Genius.itdb . . . I did the same thing with it and Voila'!!

i am in a situation, where i have a logging table in which i have a primary key called ETL_log_ID which is an identity column and acts as a foreign key for various fact table and dimension tables which are populated using SSIS packages. Now i wanna use the
ETL_log_ID as a parameter in the execute sql task which populates the log table and pass the same value in the data flow task which populates the facts and dimension. Can you let me know how to pass the parameter in a step by step procedure.

Confused...how do I import photos into a particular album?

I'm trying to import a bunch of Hubble Space Telescope photos into iPhoto. They are in a folder on my hard drive. I'd like them to go into an album I created titled "Astro photos for iPad".
Is there any way of picking selected photos and importing them directly into that album?
I rarely use iPhoto, but every time I do, it's a major head-scratcher. I don't know why, but I simply do not understand the interface or organization (folders, albums, events, etc.). The PDF help manual doesn't cover importing photos from the hard drive. I'm sure iPhoto works wonderfully for regular users. I know it's me, not you!
Where do the imported photos go? Are they in the aether until you, somehow, find them and then drag them into an album? How do you find them?
It seems that the strategy is to give an import an event name as the way to group them, but then I can't find the event. (It's usually mixed in with a bunch of dated events.)
Here's the complication in this case. I have dozens of images in that Hubble folder. I'm in iPhoto. I'd like to import selected ones. I have to import them one at a time because I'm checking on which image is which. Then they get lost as they were taken, and saved/dated, at different times. I suppose my only recourse is to create the iPad Hubble folder first outside of iPhoto and then import them in one fell swoop.
I know this will all sound ridiculous to those who use iPhoto regularly or simply just get it, but I'm lost in space--literally!
Any suggestions on making my way back to Earth would be greatly appreciated!

You can't do it.
iPhoto works like iTunes. All the tracks are in the Library, each playlist contains references to the tracks in the Library. So a track can be in any number of playlists without using extra disk space.
In iPhoto, all the phoots are in the LIbrary. Each Album contains references to the photos in the Library. So a photo can be in any number of Albums without using extra disk space.
Events and Photos are views of the LIbrary. Two doors into the same room, as it were.

   How can I use it.
