Hi, I am trying to get help with an update install of iTunes. When I opened iTunes the other day, it told me there was an update to version 10.6.1. When I tried to install this version I received the following message " The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. I tried to uninstall iTunes, and it would not uninstall. It gave me the following message " The path C:\documents and settings\network service\local settings\application data\apple\apple software update\iTunes.msi cannot be found. I tried running Windows fixit, but this did not solve the problem. Can anyone tell me how to finish uninstalling the old iTunes file, so I can reinstall the newest version? Before trying the update again, use Microsoft's Fix it solution at http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall. Use it to uninstall iTunes and Quicktime. It bypasses this not uncommon problem. When the solution finishes, the selected program will be uninstalled. It can take several minutes and I have seen as much as half an hour.
After iTunes & Quicktime are uninstalled, try the update again.
