AT&T are unlock my phone, official!!!
1) Check your iTunes account.
2) you have to be at your computer. Apple is very smart, the place you put your I'd or password is not near data base.
3) make sure your ID and Password is correct. When type on the phone, if you don't check you might press the wrong key some time cases where people have long Neil.
4) go to apple website n reset the I'd or password.

Hi, I have a iphone 4 with IOS 5.1.1 baseband 04.12.01 AT&T recently release me but I have presented a problem with the activation of the device, I have restored and updated and I get a message saying WE'RE SORRY, WE ARE UNABLE tO COMPLETE wITH YOUR ACTIVATION AT tHIS MOMENT, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER, OR CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE would like to know which means that message and I have to do to activate hopefully help me with this problem and I have 3 months with the phone saying same message ...

If the phone was NOT unlocked, it can't work or be activated with any other carrier than AT&T. It CAN'T be used with Tigo or Movistar.

i forgot my IPhone 3gs passcode , i done the restore thru ITune , restore was ok for 6.1, when i start to configure my device , i stuck on the activition step
I can't activing me IPhone 3gs after restore following message showen in iTune :

I done some internet seach , most of the stuff said use the RedSn0w uploadf following IPSW or something like that :
IPHONE2.1_6.0_10A403_restore.Ipsw
PS. if update the above , every reboot your Iphone device should reboot from same IPSW using computer for upload
your advise please how can i activite my Iphone back

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>
About=>Carrier? -

with the black and white icon or a different one?
If it was jailbroken, contact the developers of the jailbreak.
Not all jailbreaks can be completely removed.
Google may provide some direction. -
Hello, everybody. I've expirienced a problem during activation iPhone 4 via Wi-Fi or iTunes. "We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time." - that is what I've seen. I've restored phone as described on troubleshooting page - nothing have changed. Phone was sealed, bought from dealer <Edited by Host> today, 25 July 2013.
This time I cannot insert proper sim-card (my scissor-handed carrier in his official store cut my SIM into micro-SIM awfully - i'm not kidding, i'm from Russia), but as i know, it's not necessary to have sim inserted into unlocked phone (since dealer claimed it as unlocked). I've never used any of jailbreaks, geveys et cetera. 2 last characters (before slash) of part № (RU) tells me, that this iPhone is for Russia (so, officially it should be neverlocked). <Edited by Host> checked via different services says nothing suspicious. Customer care is about 600 km far from me, so I lays all my hope on this cummunity. Thanks in advance.The Apple activation server is down at the moment. Try in a couple of hours (or tomorrow)

Typically the error indicates the device has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock. In most cases, it is not possible to restore to a pristine (unhacked/jailbroken) state and the device is bricked.

I found an article from Apple that specifically outlines how to try and troubleshoot this issue. It's called iPhone: Troubleshooting activation issues found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3424.
Resolution
Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Applefor assistance.
