Help me remove pop-up window

Hello all and Happy Thursday!
I was screwing around with the remote and did something I shouldn't have and now I have some window I can't close.
There is a grey colored window pegged on my screen (even after turning the TV off and on) that reads as follows:

Are you sure you want to exit?
Cancel OK
Exit to Guide
I have the VZ P265 v1.1 remote. Can anyone tell me how to close this window please?

Reboot the STB or simply unplug it and plug it back in. This is a known issue that I've seen personally several times.

You do not need to involve Creative Cloud to install/try the trial version of CS5...
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

First step is set the SCREEN TYPE as "Modal Dialog Box" in screen property tab.
Then in PBO of the popup screen take a new GUI status and select DIALOG BOX as status type.
Then assign some function code in 'X' button say 'CANCEL'.
the put ur logic like below :
PBO
module gui_status.
PAI.
module user_command.
module gui_status.
set pf-status 'ZPOPUP'.
endmodule.
module user_command.
if ok_popup = 'CANCEL'. " Where ok_popup is the ok_code variable in ur popup screen , also define it in TOP include

Help required with pop up window that won't go away

I need to re-configure my network settings, but when I access 'network' in 'system preferences' a pop up window appears that states 'Your network setting have been changed by another application'. When I click 'OK', the window just re-appears and I cannot therefore access the network window. Help!

To stop the pop-up, Go to System Preferences: Security. Check the box next to "Require password to unlock each secure system preference." Then lock Security.

Most likely, you have a web plugin that depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple, such as the Facebook video calling plugin or the "NexDef" plugin for watching baseball streams. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it. Otherwise, install Java.

Help With Video Pop Up Window.

Hi there Im very new to web design so please understand that I am a complete novice, so my understanding is limited. Any help would be most appreciated.
Could anyone provide me with a piece of code I can put into the HTML snippet function that will allow me from a hyperlink that says "video" to open up this Vimeo video (see below) in a new window that is the exact dimensions of the given video.- Almost like a pop up.

Help with DW pop-up window

I am trying to get a po-up window when someone clicks the
link on my site. I am not sure that I am doing this right. I
created the pop-up using Behaviors but the link comes up in the
main window as well as the pop-up. Here is the link if someone

No doubt you have the link in both the href attribute and the
OpenBrWindow
behavior. To fix this, change this -

Now you have a link that will work (almost correctly) whether
your visitor
has javascript enabled or not.

Hi Thomas,
I agree that by using Freely Programmed help the data will be displayed in a seperate window. I want to display the data in a window( of type Pop Up) because i am displaying table control with 3 fields on clicking f4 and it has 2 buttons Ok and Cancel. But if there are 50 entries the user needs to scroll down to click on Ok. If the window is of type pop up Ok button will be embedded in the window instead of on view.

i got the same problem.(cursor not change for pop-up windows) and because i m not an expert in internal html code i did try several solutions to fix it.
The easiest (but also even longer if u need to do severals) is to create a button (withs 2 overflight changing pics) with "inserer", "image survolée"
the "image survolée" can be linked to a pop-up window with the correct effect. To do so highlight the "expected new link to" and on right side task bar ad a "comportement" named "ouvrir la fenetre du navigateur" and optionally choose the size and windows available function of the pop-up. It works even if u need to proceed first with an overflight changing button.
The result is longer to obtain and not absolutely perfect. So I guess it s only an help solution for a single mateer. i would be glad to get another solution with a text link rather than using the overflight button system. Technically it should be better, more efficient and faster to proceed with applying an html code that really makes the text appearing as a classic link to a new windows whatever pop up or full size window. Please let me know if u get further answer to fix this problem.

We are running on SRM 4.0 with Internal ITS.I have a query regarding the Size of a window whcih opens on the clink of a link in the SRM Webscreen.
On the Header part of the SRM screen,i have several links like HOME,HELP,SETTINGS etc...Now among these,the "HELP" link is pointing to onw particular Website.So when i click on the HELP link,another pop up window opens but its minimised and the MAXIMISE WINDOW option is disabled.
Can anyone tell me how can i maximise this popup window?Any settings to be done for the service in SICF?

But after implementing that,we are not able to run any transaction i.e. Whenevr we click on any link on the Homepage,nothing happens.

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

How do I permanently remove "Authentication Required" window that continues to pop up?

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. A window continues to pop up that reads, "Authentication Required" and "Enter username and password for ftp://ftp.radiogarage.com". This happens every time Firefox is opened and continues to pop up approximately every 30-60 seconds until I close Firefox. How do I permanently remove/delete/get rid of this pop up window? I have clicked on Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox but that has not solved the issue. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I cant install an update to Firefox and cant remove the old version because a "Setup" pop up window "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?" appears, reboots change nothing. What should I do?

A friend said she downloaded an update to Firefox (a version of 6, I believe) but didn't install the update, but the desktop icon was gone. The only way to launch Firefox was from the Programs folder. When clicking on the Firefox file, a "Setup" pop up window appeared stating "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?" Clicking "No" does not launch Firefox and clicking "Yes" reboots the computer, but nothing changes after restart and the same series of events keeps re-occurring. When clicking on the safe mode file, Firefox was launched. I went to "Add/Remove Programs" and found Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3. When attempting to remove the program, the same reboot "Setup" pop up appears, and the same non-results as previously described, persisted. I deleted all Firefox files and deleted the update set up .exe files. I again tried to remove the Firefox 3.6.3 program, with the same outcome as the previous attempt(s). I went to the Firefox website and downloaded the updated Firefox 7.0.1 set up .exe file, saved and ran it. When I reached the Setup Wizard page that prompts a "Standard" or "Custom" installation, I clicked on Standard and the same reboot pop up window appeared, again with no change after the reboot. So I have a Program installed (Firefox 3.6.3) with no files, and which can not be removed, an executed update/download .exe for Firefox 7.0.1 that can not be completely installed due to the failure to update by reboot problem. I'm out of ideas on how to try to resolve these problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Try a clean reinstall.
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 7.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
* Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Hi, I have owned my t430s for now about 2 years without any major complaints recently I've had to use the fn + f5 function quite frequently, because of my poor internet connection. so that way i can reset which signal I want to choose because the default signal I am connected to is not mine.
