HELP - My Battery is either magical, or is about to explode.
So ive been noticing that ive been getting horrrible battery life (usually just over an hour) on my macbook, even when not doing much on it. So just this afternoon i decided to calibrate it. So i used my computer normally until the battery went out and the computer shut down by itself. I checked that the battery was empty by pressing the little button on it, and there was only 1 flashing light, so it was pretty much empty. I then took the battery out and waited a few hours. Before putting it back in, i pressed the button again, and all 5 lights came on. After putting the battery back in, and not even attaching the power adapter, it says the battery is at 100%, with 10 hours remaining....

You haven't quite completed the calibration process when you pressed the button. You need to run the computer until it sleeps or shut down, then leave it in this state for about 5 hours, then fully recharge it. Your battery was not correctly calibrated before you started and you hadn't finished the calibration process so it's not surprising the number of lights was inconsistent. It's a simple case of Garbage In-Garbage Out.
Perform the full calibration process again and I expect you'll get some sensible results.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

How to help with battery life in iOS 7
Some tips to help with battery life
-disable location services(for apps that do not need it)
-turn off ask to join networks under wifi, so your phone will not keep searching for networks unless you tell it to
-turn off airdrop/bluetooth if you don’t use it
- reduce motion off in settings>general>accessibility
-turn off automatic downloads in iTunes and app store in settings
-fetch mail manually in the settings>mail,contacts,calendars>fetch new data
-turn off raise to speak feature in settings>general>siri
-of course turn off notifications for apps that you do not need in settings>notifications
-turn off background app refresh in settings>general>background app refresh
-turn off 4g when you are connected to wifi under settings>cellular>enable lte/enable 4gIf you do not use Bluetooth devices, Settings > General > Bluetooth to OFF, when away from WiFi and not using a 3G unit, put Airplane Mode ON.
Change the email push setting to a long period of time.
Simple things that stop the unit from transmitting or seaking responses. -

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I tried a different charger myself (the power source is reliable). But it does not work too. I think I need to bring it down to apple shop.
But is quite disappointing with the new apple product I have. Cos not only my battery is not charging, my built in speaker, the sound is like broken too. So I can hear some noisy sound when I play music.
I have a power book G4, and the power book, everything is still in good condition. Imagine how many yrs I have with the power book G4. This power book I never bring to do any services before. I sometimes really suspect is it Apple drop quality
(cos the office new bought mac from my boss, the USB port is not working too..)

Oh, so this is where I ask my question. Sorry, first time here. As I was saying in my long intro, the gray screen come up and the thing is spinning at the bottom, but nothing happens. Then the fan starts reving up like it is about to explode and I have to manually shut it off. A friend told me to start it up with the OS disk and then go to utilities. I couldn't find the thing, so I went out and bought another. Needless to say, it didn't work. Is there a key stroke to help jump start the machine? How can I get into this thing? I would prefer not to take it in because there are a lot of things on there I don't want just anyone to have access to.Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Your drive does need to be repaired, and best things to buy are another backup recovery drive, with a small OS X partition; a copy of Disk Warrior is expensive @ $90 but excellent and best.
Never bother with or use the drive or reinstall while there are errors. Don't take a "clean' bill from Apple Disk Utility to mean there are no errors. Only that it didn't find what it looked for.

Make sure to have multiple backup sets and of your system so if there is a serious problem, you can just erase and restore to be back runninig.
Sounds like your G5 though needs PMU reset, not PRAM, and the best way for those is to clear nvram instead. might even want to check for dust; tell what System Profile says (later) as to "PowerMacX,Y" or "MacProX,1"

The Utility menu is on the menu bar of an "OS X Install DVD" and at the point where you get to but stop at "install....' for OS X. you probably do need to install OS X on another drive to work from.
Oh, a real severe issue and damage to the drive directory or filesystem CAN in cases prevent booting from DVD (the system still tries to find and see what boot volumes are present) and can help to pull or disconnect the drive. Putting a drive in a FW case to turn on after startup is very useful. -

In order to check if the Reports executed is the one you have modified, I suggest to copy the Reports in a specific directory (/tmp on UNIX , c:\temp on Window) and execute the Reports providing the "full path name " :
report=/tmp/myreport.rdf
If you can see the modifications you have done when executing the reports like this, check if there is a REP with the same name , check if the Reports you have modified is the first with this name in the REPORTS_PATH
