HELP! My watch list is screwed up

Sorry for the off-topic post, but my watch list is screwed up. It seems that I'm now watching the entire JSC forum and I get emailed everytime any topic is posted. Ugh.
The watch list page is essentially empty. It doesn't give me any boxes to check to change this setting. Now what? Thanks.

It has been broken for more than a month.
Doesn't work on IE, or netscape, linux, solaris x86, or windows.
Seems there is no one to contact at sun?????
I contacted the manufacturer of the software and they said the knew of the problem and sun was working on it. BUT that was weeks ago!!
Please not that you watch list probably does work if you go to Solaris forums. It is seperated somehow.
I'm sure it is a time out problem (something to do with the time it takes to render the full page), but they can't find it, or are not looking.

Yes, I agree it someimtes annoying.. If I forget to unsubscribe, I'll be reminded when I see next day "Recieving messages 1 of 370..."
Have you tried going to "My Subscriptions", check-marking "GarageBand" category, and clicking "Delete". You may need to refresh the page to view the change you've made in "My Subscriptions" area.
Recently, (I'm not sure if this is your issue or not) I'd been having a problem when I click on "Cancel Subscription to Category" inside the iPod category, which I sometimes subscribe to, it says "You are not logged in, you have read-only access".
My solution to that was:
Logout.
Refresh the page.
Login again.
Refresh the webpage.
Click on "Cancel Subscription to category".
I believe that's what I do when that happens to me (it might be a variant of that, but along those lines).
It's a laborious method I will say, but it does work.

OT - Non-Existent Watch List Spewing Tons of Email

Sorry for the off topic post here, but you guys need to put some other mechanism in place for contact regarding Forum problems. There's NO contact information for this type of action, and I think there should be a link directly in all posted emails from the Forums. This would save alot of trouble and time when issues come up. My two cents.
Now, I am getting CLOBBERED with tons of email notices from a Watch List that I initially created, but then subsequently deleted. However, the emails they keep on coming...and coming...and coming. They're like the friggin' Energizer Bunny. I don't have ANY Watch Lists at this moment and I'm STILL GETTING MESSAGES. Somebody PLEASE pull the plug. This is obviously a bug in the Watch List code, and there's no one listed to obtain help for this kind of issue - hence my post here.
Please advise and/or fix as I'm tired of deleting mondo amounts of messages every day. This is truly beyond ridiculous.

Why, when I click on watch list, does the print shrink and move to the left of the screen, and when scroll down, a load of jargon follow the watch list?

Hi, does anyone know how to rectify this problem?
It only happens on eBay, when I click on "watch list". It starts of normal but by the time it completes, the print has got tiny and moves to the left of the scree. I can use the fingers to enlarge it, but shouldn't have to do that and it reverts to small when I try to use it again! VERY annoying - it's only started happening recently, I've had this iPad 2 for 6 months, and it NEVER happened with my iPad 1!

It's likely an oddity with the eBay site - they may have introduced the issue with a site update. I'm not certain, just sugesting.
Having said that, I don't see this behaviour on my iPad 3. Try restarting the iPad and see if that fixes it.
I use the eBay apps on both iPhone and iPad - I find them much easier than the website - might be worth a look

OK since midday today firefox 3.6.24 apparently no longer executes javascript on ebay. Can't use the "add to watch list" buttons or the enlarge photo buttons. It says 'javascript at the bottom of the firefox window but nothing happens.

just as I wrote above.. ebay loads and functions. I can bid and view auctions but trying to either use the "add to watch list" or "add to wish list" buttons or to switch between different posted photos of an item just gives me javascript:; at the bottom left of my screen but clicking the button has no effect.I'm still running 10.4.11 with the last java download.. is this an ebay change to a newer java version not supported by my os or is it a firefox error..oh and one more thing each page seems to have become 4 times longer..ie there is a huge empty space as I scroll down the page before I hit the bottom.Only appears to do this on ebay..haven't found any other sites showing similar errors and everything works fine on my imac running firefox 4 under 10.5

I'm a bit confused with this paragraph, as you said Vista already install on your computer, why did you say Windows can't be installed?
According to your description with your problem, it is Product edition and key are not match. Firstly of all, we must make sure the system you installed on your computer was
Windows Vista Business, not matter 32 or 64 bit.
Note: you can check current system edtion at System Properties.
After that, you can try to input your product key and activate your system for test.
If problem still presists, it would be better to provide the activation error message.

How to set a default value in a Value Help Drop Down List

I used an age Range field in my adobe form, the control is a Value Help Drop Down List. i am populating the drop down using following code.

that means you have to set at design time,
to set default drop down value you will have to set the value for particular attribute (which is linked to the dropdown element) in the context
like
wdContext.currentContext<nodeName>Element.set<FieldName>(<default value>)
This generally done in Initialization method of the controller.

How to create a Watch List using JSF

I'd like to build a HTML UI which includes the toggling of items from a watch list. For example, stocks or system alerts which are important to the user. First of all are there any JSF example which demonstrate this type of application? What is the best approach for building such an interface so that individual lines can be added and removed from the watch list and the view mode can be toggled from watch list only items to all items?
I've looked at the data repeater component example and tried to make that work for this purpose but I'm struggling with some of the details and wondering if the approach taken is good or if there is a better approach. Basically what I have is a List of line items held in a managed bean class. This List is associated to my repeater's value tag. The managed bean also has a UIData element and a UISelectBoolean with the former associated to the repeater's binding and the latter associated to a invisible selectboolean_checkbox (rendered="false").
As the user presses an "Add" watchlist button with an action of toggleWatch the UISelectedBoolean.setSelected (onWatchList) is toggled between true and false for the current UIData.getRowIndex(). However, in tracing the code with a debugger, I see as the component tree is rendered that suddenly all UIData rows appear to have their onWatchList.isSelected() toggled to the new value.
Additionally, when I toggle between the view modes of show watchlist and show all my method to determine what gets rendered doesn't appear to have any effect. This is, when pressing the Show Watch button, the viewType is set to "watch" and then a setRendered method is called to setRendered() for each UIData row as follows. Again, this appears to have no effect.

Am I making this too hard or am I just missing something minor???

Upon further debugging it looks like the current issues may be caused by only one onWatchList (UISelectBoolean) existing instead of one for each row in the UIData group. So, what builds the association here? In the RepeaterBean example class the checked UISelectBoolean is simply declared as a instance variable but is never associated to the UIData. How are these glued together?
Of course, I'm still wondering if the is a much better / easier way to get the same results...

Suddenly cannot add items to ebay watch list or view extra photos.

When I click on extra photos, shipping info tab or try to add an item to my ebay watch list nothing happens. I now have to add items from my cell phone. This has never happened before. Had problem for 3 days.

Cannot open anything in my evay watch list since update

When I go to my watch list in Ebay and click on an item it give me an error message to check item location. If I add something new to watch list I can open it until I have left this page and then it doesn't work again. This works in other browser.

The Java bug DB was a Sun-time idea. Oracle hasn't put much effort into it since the merger:
- the performance has been horrible, see e.g. {thread:id=2173553}), and it is not clear whether they intend to keep maintaining it as such (open, vote-able,...)
- the "recently closed bugs" page (http://bugs.sun.com/recently_closed.do) seems out of date
- At the time of this writing, I cannot even find a link to log on it from the welcome page http://bugs.sun.com/ :(
Until Oracle openly declares that they will maintain this resource, I wouldn't put much hope nor effort into it...

Strange behavior in watch list

I'm getting a behavior in the watch list that I can't explain. While examining an object in the watch list, its value collumn reads "'VariableName' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level." This is from a break
point after it has been declared and initialized. For example:

At first I though there was a problem with my custom objects but I get the same thing with any and all framework objects. It does not do this with value objects but if the value objects are declared after the class objects I get the same error. I tried
rebooting and I can't get it back to its normal behavior. Could this be a VS2010 bug?

Today I got the error again even after removing the Linq references. So it may not have anything to do with that. This time I declared a variable like this:
Dim item as List(Of MyTestClass)
When I later used the variable I got the error again. I kept playing around with it when I tried this:
Dim [item] as List(Of MyTestClass)
Now the error went away as long as I referred to this variable with [] everywhere. Then I tried it with a different variable name without the [] and it worked fine. Then on a whim I tried "item" again without the []. This time I could not
get the error anymore. The previous compile had fixed it somehow even though I now had the exact same code that failed previously.
So something seems to trigger it intermitently but I have not clue how to reproduce it now.
Here is another clue. I have a big project (around 10,000 lines of code) targeted for .NET v3.5. When I change the target to .NET v4.0. I get a ton of errors (max number that VS can show) for every variable in my project. "'VariableName' is not declared.
It may be inaccessible due to its protection level." When I go back to v3.5 all errors go away.
I'm starting to wonder if it has to do with the combination of DLL references that I am using. Maybe there is a namespace resolution problem that VS2010 seems to be getting confused when reflecting.

2) create a watch list using the command # Dialer watch-list ip < exact mask>
3) go to the dialer interface and bind it using the command # dialer watch-group

Everyone needs to check their Watch List and Forum Settings

Recently Sun's Java and Developer forums were consolidated into a single, large instance of the Jive forums infrastructure. Some users are no longer getting automatic email notifications on topics they have posted to. If your settings in Developer forums differed from settings in Java forums, then some settings may not be what you expect. Log into any forum, then verify your Forum Settings and Watch List options. In the Forum Profile and Settings, make sure your Watch List Preferances are correct, especially the Email My Watches Updates setting. In Your Watch List, make sure each topic has the Email Updates option set correctly.
