Help needed to configure WVC54GC cam with BEFW11S4 router:

OK...I have to admit that I'm finally having to ask for help! I'm handy with most computer problems, but i.p. addresses, port forwarding and dns stuff is kinda over my head. I need someone to walk me through the steps. I've got the camera setup to the point that I can view the image in the Linksys setup, but I want to be able to share it on the net. I'm stumped with how to do this. I'm told I need to forward ports on my router etc. I've been into the router settings and there is no "gaming tab" as is suggested, but I can find port settings under advanced, although they look different.
I've also setup an account with DynDNS updater,as I'm told I'll need this to maintain a connection. The settings in there are equally as daunting, so any help here would also be beer worthy....LOL!

Once you login to your Router setup Page.... on the Very Right Side you need to click on the Advance Tab and then you need to click on the Forwarding Tab and Below you can Open the Ports for your Camera.

We are using following devices for campus Wi-fi.
1. WLC - 4402
2. AP (1131ag, 1042n) which support H-REAP.
I want to configure HREAP central auth and local switching. I have enabled from local to HREAP after that I go to HREAP tab and native vlan 1 (by default)(I have changed native vlan 1 to 51.) vlan support is enabled. then click on vlan mapping and my wlan (guestwlan) is there with vlan id 24.
I have assigned static IP to AP (192.168.51.40/24 gw 192.168.51.254).
DHCP is running on controller.
switch port configure is below:

Issue : authentication done through RADIUS (Cisco ACS 4.2) but no getting IP address from DHCP.

Do not use the DHCP on the WLC.
Use a DHCP on the neighbor swtich if possible for the native VLAN.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported. If you are using Safari this try clearing its cache via Settings > Safari.
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Mac OS 9 does not support IPv6. While you can have IPv6 on your network, a Macintosh running Mac OS 9.2.2 or earlier cannot make connections to services using this network protocol.
To use IPv6 on a Macintosh, you need Mac OS X 10.1 or later (as far as I know).

Having issues configuring DHCP and with Redundant router

Hello everyone
I am new to Cisco and I am having few problems in configuring my topology in Packet tracer.
I am having redundancy in router and swithes both,
I have assigned one layer2 2960 switch as a VTP server and asssigned VLANs from that switch then assigned ports to the hosts in access layer switches.
Problem 1: If I take my Router1 off I am unable to ping so the pupose of having redundant router does not serve the pupose.
Problem 2 : I need to assign DHCP server for the users who will be connecting wirelessly with Access Points, so can I configure DHCP on Access Points which I am unable to do so in Packet tracer any idea how? / Or shall I configure the DHCP on Router1 and Router2 and exclude the addresses I have assigned to all the hosts connected using ethernet.
Also how can I configure Email server in this tolpolgy and where?

Hi Asif, Jeff is right.
(1) You need to configure either HSRP (Hot standby routing protocol) or VRRP (Wirtual routing redundancy protocol), or GLBP (Gateway load balancing protocol).
With either of this config, you will be able to configure 1 logical IP address, which will act as a gateway on your computers. However, both routers will need different IP's (all within the same subnet). You will also need to create multiple HSRP groups to support all your VLAN's. So one HSRP group per VLAN. The logical IP in the HSRP group will act as the default gateway on computers within the VLAN.
Though I don't think packet tracer supports any of the above configs - FYI it's part of the CCNP Switch sylabus. So the above explaination will make sense after you've got a good understanding of HSRP, VRRP and/or GLBP.
(2) I would recommend setting both the Router as a DHCP server, and configure the Access Point (AP) with a static IP (disable NAT and DHCP on the AP)
(3) In packet tracer, choose the Server icon and check it's properties. You should find an option to enable EMAIL server. Connect it to any of the Distribution layer switches.

It's in your Keychain on the computer you usually use to connect to your network - the "kind" will be "AirPort Network Password".
Your Keychain can be opened by using the Keychain Access program. It is in your Utilities Folder.
Open Keychain Access, and type airport in the search field. You will see a number of entries. Choose the one with the name of your wireless network, open it, and check the box next to "show password". Before it reveals itself you will be asked for your login password - the one you use to log in to your MacBook.
The network password will appear in the box.
Quit Keychain Access.

I compiled source with -m64 which generated 64 bit for me. And m using the generated library to configure by editin magnus.config.....
Same things are working in 32 bit..

looks like , the server is unable to find libgcc (or any of its dependent libraries in the path ) and hence unable to load.
now, you can address this in multiple ways
- export LD_LIBRARY_PATH to your 64-bit location of libgcc libraries
1.
for eg on solaris 10, you can do something like
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sfw/lib/sparcv9 (or amd64)
you will need to do this every time to start the server.
or
2. use Studio 11 to compile this NSAPI plugin.
this way, you don't have to worry about manually exporting LD_LIBRARY_PATH while starting the server.

Help needed for white screen problem with no shortcuts working on startup.

Im using a 20" mac OS X with leopard, When IMac turns on there is just a white screen with nothing happening so Iv tried using all of the shortcut command keys such as "command+R" with no success.

i found that CSPF is not finding other path still there is no bandwith on SPF path and tunnel1 remain down if i down second tunne2 then tunnel 1 comes up not try to use other interfaces which r free with enough bandwidth. all router have MPLS TE and RSVP.

my freinds i have one Q. for MPLS TE. i m using 3660 router for MPLS TE on dayanagen simulater. in this lab there is 5 routers with 512 kbp RSVP on each interface all router with MPLS TE. configure are as->
R1 /0 ---R2 /0
R2 ==== R3 have Two interfaces s1/1 and s1/3
R2 /2-----R5 /2 interface connection
R3 ---- R5 int connection
R3 ---- R4 tunnel to R4 from R1,R2 with 300kb each
tunnel1 on R1 to R4 with 300kb rsvp TE
tunnel2 on R1 to R3 with 50kb rsvp TE
tunnel1 on R2 to R4 with 300kb rsvp TE

PROBLEM IS when R1 tunnel go via R2 to R4 it takes s1/1 interface with 300rsvp. means for R2 tunnel should find next interface for same destination R4 becaused there is not enough space.On one of remaining on interfaces on R2 s1/3 or S1/2 but R2-->R4 tunnel remain down. when i down R1---R4 tunnel R2--R4 tunnel comes up on same interface. NOW when i up R2 tunnel first and later R1. then same thing again R1 down and wait for R2 tunnel to go down.then up on same interface. if u see there is still two path r free to go R4 on R2
1. R2 s1/3 ----> s1/3 of R3
2. R2 s1/2 ---->s1/2 of R5 with both 512 kb RSVP
there is using R2 s1/1 for tunnel
why not with help of CSPF it takes other path when 512 link is also free on R2 router to same destination??? its on dyanamips is it can problem with simulater.
it means that on R2 using SPF path for R4 for both tunnel and not trying to find other CSPF path thats why my two interfaces are free with 512kbp RSVP on same router R2. why not CSPF using other remaining path. and down one of tunnel because of there is no space on tht s1/1 interface........

sorry m8 for late reply i had sort the problem. it occur because i was using 4 router now when i used TE with 12 router on daynagen it is working fine.
Question
now i have one question. i am trying to use TE with MPLS VPN site to site. as you know site to site MPLS VPN send traffic both way from R1 to R2 and R2 to R1.
but if i create MPLS TE tunnel1 on R1 to destination R2 then all traffic from R1 will go via tunnel1. but traffic from R2 wil go to R1 via normal route becasue tunnels is one way onli can see on R1
that means i have to create tunnels at both end in opposite directions. please reply me.
MPLS VPN site to site between R1 --- R2 have to create tunnels for both direction because tunnel work in on way?

Hi! I have to configure a new router with a static route. No routing protocol will be used. I just have to set default route on it and NAT. My senior Network Engineer has asked me to configure this router. There's an apartment where our Overseas employees stay, earlier this apartment had a broadband connection which was further divided through the APs(Cisco Wireless Access Points) and made usable to around 20 users. Now, they have bought in their own lease line and I have to configure this router. We just have to connect it with the ISP using Ethernet (not serial link). Connection with BEFW11S4 Router

About 2 months ago I got a new computer. Ever since, while I am able to connect to the internet, the connection is very slow. We have a second computer in our home that has no problems with the connection. But yet the new computer has trouble downloading videos, websites, etc at the same speed as the other computer.
I spoke with the company that build my computer and they stated this was a problem with the router and I should countact them for assistance. I have the Lyksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B Broadband Router. Can anyone offer me any assistance as to how to get the new computer running off the internet at the same speed as our older one?

On your New Computer try to Disable the Firewall and Antivirus on your Computer and check how its working. As you have mentioned your other computers works perfectly fine, this means your Router is working fine without any issue. You should disable the firewall and antivirus and i think this might solve the problem.
