I am calling report from form

When i am calling report it is not sending all the parameter values.

There is a quote at the end of 1st line, and another one at the beginning of the 2nd line.

Report Painter allows you to create reports using data from SAP application components, which you can adapt to meet your individual requirements.
Many of your reporting requirements can already be met by using the standard reports provided by various SAP application components. If these SAP standard reports do not meet your reporting needs, Report Painter enables you to define your specific reports quickly and easily.
When executing a Report Painter report, it is displayed by the system in Report Writer format. You thus have access to the same functions as for Report Writer reports defined in the same way, and can combine Report Painter and Report Writer reports together in a report group.
Report Painter uses a graphical report structure, which forms the basis for your report definition and displays the rows and columns as they appear in the final report output.
To facilitate report definition, you can use many of the standard reporting objects provided by SAP (such as libraries, row/column models, and standard layouts) in your own specific reports. When you define a Report Painter report you can use groups (sets). You can also enter characteristic values directly.
Advantages of Report Painter include:
Flexible and simple report definition
Report definition without using sets
Direct layout control: The rows and columns are displayed in the report definition as they appear in the final report output, making test runs unnecessary.

Below mentioned is the process for creating reports using Report Painter as a tool.
Selecting and maintaining a library for your report: As the transfer structure to Report Painter you use a report table, which is defaulted by SAP and can not be maintained. This table contains characteristics, key figures and predefined columns. In a library, you collect the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns from the report table, which you need for your Report Painter reports.
When you define a Report Painter report, you assign it to a library. Reports assigned to one library can only use the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns selected for that library.
When you create or maintain a library, the Position field determines the sequence in which the characteristics, key figures or (predefined) key figures appear in the Report Painter selection lists when you define a report. This allows you to position the objects that you use regularly in your reports at the beginning of the selection lists. If you do not make an entry in the Position field, you will not be able to use this object in Report Painter reports.
You can use either the standard SAP libraries for your reports or define your own.
(ii) Selecting or maintaining a standard layout for your report: Standard layouts determine report layout features and the format of your report data.If the SAP standard layouts do not meet your reporting requirements, you can create a new standard layout or change an existing one.
(iii) Defining row and column models: A model is a one-dimensional, predefined reporting structure that you can insert in either the rows or columns of your report.If you often use the same or similar row or column definitions in your reports, it is recommended that you create row or column models.
You must define the row and/or column models that you want to include in your report definition before you define the report.
You can also use the standard column models supplied by SAP.
(iv) Defining the report: Defining a Report Painter report involves the following steps.
(a) Define the report columns: You define the report columns using the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns selected for the library that the report uses. Alternatively, you can use a column model for column definition. Column models are predefined column structures which you insert into your entire column definition, instead of defining each individual column.
(b) Define the report rows: You define the report rows using the characteristics selected for the library selected for the report.
Alternatively, you can use a row model for your row definition. Row models serve the same purpose as column models, but are used to define a report row.
Edit and format the report rows and columns in line with your requirements. (For example, you can hide rows or columns, define the column width or define colors for your report rows).
(iii)Define general data selection criteria for the selection of your report data: Selection criteria are the characteristics used to select data for the entire report. You cannot enter characteristics as data selection criteria if they are already being used in the report rows or columns.
(iv) Assigning the report to a report group: Once you have defined a report, you must assign it to a report group. A report group can contain one or more reports from the same library. However, reports that share the same data will select data more quickly and improve processing time.

Help: calling report from report in report 9i

Background:
1. Report Builder 9i and the outputs are PDF files;
2. Report A and Report B both have two identical parameters: P1 and P2;
3. Calling Report A through FORM using web.show_document() with paraform=YES,

If Report B can be called from Report A, the parameters P1, P2 passed through calling report A, the user then needs not to enter twice P1 and P2 using web.show_document().
Wishful way of thinking:
The Calling FORM refered here is the one that provides all buttons for more than 20 reports and that is the reason of using parameter form. Consequently, I am looking for ways of making:
Calling FORM -> REPORT A -> REPORT B
where both Report A and B have same parameters, calling FORM calls REPORT A using REPORT A parameter form and hoping that REPORT A can call REPORT B with these parameters.
Any help are greatly appreciated.

I tried something in Before Report trigger like:

An error raised as: REP-1428: 'beforereport': Error while running SRW.RUN_REPORT.
Here sf1, pf1 and sf2, pf2 and two pairs of identical parameters.
Any suggestions?

Assign Search help in report program

Dear All,
I facing problem to assign search help in report program.
I crated one elementary search help in which three fields i include
-carrid
-carrier name
-booking
all three fields having import and export parameter in search help.
while executing this search help in se11 it gives proper output.
but while assigning this search help in report program it only fetch one carried.
my report is also having three parameter
-carrid
-carrier name
-booking
i assign search help like
PARAMETER : p_carrid TYPE scarr-carrid
                           MATCHCODE OBJECT z01_carrid,
with all three field but it fetch only carrid ...

For such types of requirements you can use this Function Module:
F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST.
Use this functiom modue under AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON HELP-REQUEST FOR P_CARRID.
With this function module, you can fill your remainng parameters : P_carriername and booking also.

Table SOFFCONT1 to an external repository with help of report RSIRPIRL

Hi experts,
I have to relocate data from table SOFFCONT1 to an external repository with help of report RSIRPIRL...I went through all related Sap notes and it seems pretty straightforward.
When I run the report RSIRPIRL I see all the fields I have to fill up (I have already created an content repository as well as a catalogue) but my question is how to select some data manually for testing purpose? Is it any way how to see from table SOFFCONT1 just 1 file for example?? I couldn't see that field in the report RSIRPIRL.

I have a standard report and it uses a structure to pull the data for the report. I need to create a custom report which uses the same structure, selection screen but a different layout. Could any of u plz advice, if its doable in report painter or just plain abap program?? Also I am interested to know how the report painter stores the actual report?? as ABAP program?? Please help..urgent..

I had made couple of SD reports in report painter 4 year ago .. as far as process is concern you have create library , but it deals with information structure which start with s0* , after defining information structure in library it take to select the fields and display them on your out put . information structure have the statistical data most of the time . As i worked on information structure , so31,32,33 .....
I t creates ABAP program like ABAP query creates in background . if you execute Customer Over due analysis or in Co02 cost analysis report or MC* ( MM stock reports ) those are in report painter .

As far as I know about report painter, It create a report in background..Like when you make ABAP query (SQ01, 02, 03 ) .. It will create a report. You cant modify the report . You have to get OSS id in order to do that. if you're ready do it then you can pass it to Memory and can achieve your goal ...

The variation objects are coming from the sets.

I have created a report through report writer/Painter(GR51). My query here is to link this report to a transaction code. Could you please suggest me how can I acheive this?

You can define your text as any length.If you are talking about the font,i am afraid you cannot do that.
No, you can not change the size(font) of the text on the dynpro, you can hightlight it, which changes the color to "blue" to make it stand out. You can change this on the attributes tab when double-clicking on the element in screen painter.

Query Help for reporting on last receipt qty

I am looking for some help devising a command behind a crystal report. We are hoping to achieve the last receipt quantity. To arrive at this we would like it to get the last GRPO for an item and total the quantity on that particular GRPO. In addition to this, we want to consider all the lines on the document and SUM them.
At present, the query I have is as follows:

I need to make a matrix report like the following

Year its easy to get in the query as the following

but how will i get the year to date and year till month
item wuill be my row
qty will be cell
and year will be column

If the current date is 25th oct 2004 so in above query i need as

2002 Year To Month - jan2002 oct 2002
2003 Full Year i.e jan 2003 to dec 2002

[Urgent Help Required] Report not displaying

Please help me with a issue in running report from form. I am using the following code to run a report from a form. The issue is that when i click the button i get all the success messages which are in the code and a new browser window opens but my report is not displaying. Please can any one help me with this issue. I have to submit my project with a week so this is very urgent.

If you are planning on running this report as a concurrent program, then you will have to register this report (EXECUTABLE AND PROGRAM DEFINITION).
Under the Program difinition, while defining the report parameters, you can assign the required valueset.
This is a standard method and the documentation,if needed, should be easily avialable.

Requires experts help - abap report in sales order

hello,
for the sales order details - to display partner function and delivery status.
first screen contains selection screen containing sales organization and a check box.
if i enter the sales organization without clicking check box, it displays many sale orders clicking on any sale order, (interactive) takes me to another screen, where i have push buttons for displaying partner func and delivery status. - this output is coming correctly.
if i enter sales org. and <b>click the check box</b>, goes to next screen where i give sale order no. in parameter and after giving i should go to the same screen where i created pushbuttons for displaying the partner functions and delivery status of that particular vbeln.
i am not getting the output for the above thing.
( i am not using dialog module). ordinary report only.
can anybody help me in this regard.

Need help for Report Generation

I am using Designer 6i.
I want to ask that :
Is there any facility that can preserve the report layout when I want to generate the report, because every time I generate the report I can't preserve the last layout.

Hi,
In the transaction OAOR, you should be able to insert your company Logo.
GOTO - OAOR (Business Document Navigator)
Give Class Name - PICTURES Class Type - OT..... then Execute
It will show you the list, then select ENJOYSAP_LOGO.
On that list, you will find one control with a "create" tab.
Click std. doc types.
Select SCREEN and double-click.
It will push FILE selection screen.
Select your company logo (.gif) and press OK.
It will ask for a description- for instance: "company logo".
It will let you know your doc has been stored successfully.
You can find your logo under ENJOYSAP_LOGO->Screen->company logo.
Just run your ALV program, you should find your company logo in place of the EnjoySAP logo.

Need help with Report Generation Toolkit: Excel Set Cell Format.vi

Hi people,
I've been searching and found this old thread of someone asking what is the input parameter "Number format". And I dont know what should I put in there. I've tried so many possibilities, but nothing works so far, such as:
0,0
0,?
0,#
#,0
?,0
and also with @, doesnt works. Where would I find help about this parameter?
I'm using Excel2003, german version, thus local decimal separator is a comma.
I also found this help from NI, but seems doesnt help me either. Do I miss something important?

I've used your suggestion and some numbers in excel doesnt need to get "right click, change to numbers" anymore (green indicators on the left-top side in some cells are gone). But, I think its still not a number, because I cant use a simple formula, such as in cell A10 I type "= A1/2" (cell A10 equals cell A1 divided with 2) . I got error which says its not a number.
Well, but other thing is found, any format-string I put in the input of Excel Set Cell Format.vi, such as #,########, will be shown the same as "customize #,########" if I right click in a cell in excel and click "Zellen formatieren" (formatting cell). But however, the numbers are still depends on the input of the format I put in the Append Table to Report.vi.
