    Hi Cowandmoon,
From within Adobe Reader, could you try opening Adobe Reader XI and choosing Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac), then select 'Adobe Online Services' from the left-hand side.  Click 'Sign Out...', then sign back in with your Adobe ID and password.
After this is completed, try choosing the Tools pane again from within Reader to see if you can access your subscription.
Please let us know how it goes!
    Thanks,

  • How to batch convert pdf to jpgs, crop to trim and save?

I'm trying to figure out how to take a couple of hundred PDFs, Crop them to trim, then convert them all to JPGs using any of the adobe programs.
In bridge I was able to Batch convert all the PDFs to JPGs but it wouldn't crop them to the trim also...
I thought I could use the Photoshop Image Processor to batch action crop and save them again but I always get one of two errors... "There were no source files that could be opened by Photoshop." or "Please Specify a destination folder."
I don't know why this is coming up since I have it selecting the folders with the JPGs that I converted in Bridge and saving to another folder..
Does anyone know if I can do all of this at once? Or how I can somehow get this to work so that II don't have to open, crop and save for each individual file?

Corel's WP has not / does not use anything of Adobe's to create PDFs.
With Acrobat installed you can "file - print" WP files to the Adobe PDF virtual printer that is installed with Acrobat.
Perhaps an OS based "batch" printer job would be possible. Something for you to look into.
As well, if you have WP installed there may be something WP can do.
To learn of such you'd want to visit Corel's WP customer support.
    Be well...

  • Any way to help me convert PDF format to word(.doc) on Mac

Hi,guys. Is there any one tell me how to convert PDF to word on Mac?
I am a middle school teacher.Recently I have a download some PDF file need to transfer to word as material for my working. As I use Mac OS has been doubly difficult for me,beacuse I am not familiar with mac system.
So any idea helpfully would be appreciated.

There is a very simple method and doesn't require new software.
    Open a new Word document
Open the PDF in Preview (i.e., double click or right click and open with ... Preview)
Using the TEXT tool (button labeled "A') highlight the text you want to copy, then copy (i.e. Edit ... Copy, or right click .... Copy, or Command+C)
Paste the text into a Word document, and it will be editable.
If you want to copy the entire contents, you can use Command+A to select all contents, then copy and paste to Word document.
Preview actually works much better than Acrobat Professional in this respect because you don't carry over junk code from PDF.

  • Converting PDF to JPG using Acrobat XI Standard

I know I can convert a PDF into a JPG using Acrobat Pro but I'm wondering if I can do the same using Acrobat XI Standard.  The only thing I've read online is that Standard can convert PDFs into Excel, Word or Power Point docs.

Yes, you can do this with Acrobat XI Standard. The only export feature that is not available in Std. is the ability to convert to PowerPoint.

  • Converting PDF to Jpg file

    hi
i am looking for an pure java api wich will convert pdf file into jpg.

If it is going to State Legislators I would highly suggest doing the PDF in a DVD-ROM folder. (I am sort of assuming these are pages of material, and not a bullet point type list.) It also lets them print things out and read them.
That being said, I find Motion does a nice job of making text. Export as self contained in a codec like Pro Res, then bring it into Compressor. Often CBR will give good results on text. even if you go that route, the PDfs in files may not be a bad idea....

  • How do i convert pdf to jpg in automator?

How do I convert a pdf to jpg in Automator?

Automator has a "Render PDF Pages to Images" action.
There's a wizard that pops up when you run Automator asking you to choose a template. The second template is "Application":
Applications are self-running workflows. Any files or folders dropped onto an Application will be used as input to the workflow.
    So:
    Open Automator
    Choose "Application"
Drag the "Render PDF Pages to Images" action onto the workflow
This action produces random filenames, so follow it with "Rename Finder Items" (choose "Make sequential" from the dropdown list
Then add a "Move Finder Items" to have the output files moved to the Desktop
    Save your new application somewhere
    Drag files onto it

  • Need help with converting PDF files to word document.

When attempting to convert PDF files to word document, after clicking on "convert" a message "error occurred while signing in" displays. Don't know why??? I'm logged into my account and haven't been able to convert documents.

Assuming that you try to use the ExportPDF service, I am moving your topic to the ExportPDF forum.
Just for completeness, can you post your operating system, browser, and Adobe Reader version?

  • Need help on converting pdf to original formatted word doc?

Purchased trial for Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and cannot seem to convert pdf files back to the original formatted word docs as promoted by this product.  Keep experiencing formating issues which would reuire me to go back and re-work the word doc which defeats the purpose of being able to convert the pdf back to the word doc.  Is there a way to keep the original formatting in the word doc when converting from the pdf?
    Thanks!

You need to use PDF Maker to have hope of working backwards. However, in practice the best solution is to keep the WORD document and not try to go back and forth. Going from PDF to WORD is hit and miss. If you have equations, you can forget obtaining the result correctly as far as I know, particularly if they are MathType. In general you can convert to DOC or DOCX, but it is not a recommended work flow to use regularly.

    Good day Scott,
I received your document via our File Conversion Issue form.  The root of the problem you're facing is the quality of the scan.  I'm not sure if you were starting with a poor quality hard-copy or simply low DPI settings on your scanner, but the reason the results you received were so different than the PDF was the quality of the input.
If you're hard copy looks clearer than the PDF file you created, I would suggest increasing the resolution settings on your scanner.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
    Kind regards,
    David

  • Script inquiry (help please :) - Crop PDF and save as JPG

I'm sure this will be an easy one for some of you. I want to have a script that takes a PDF of a cover file (usually very wide since it's printed along the front, spine, and back of the book), crops out the crop marks (I have a little code snippet that I found that can do this), prompts for the width of the front cover size (i.e. 6 inches for a 6" x 9" book), and then sets the crop box from the far right edge to the width that was input. I'm trying to put together a little tool for my company's Art Department to save them time creating jpegs of our books covers (there are a lot of them). Their current process is to place the PDF in Indesign on a 6x9 page and export a JPG from there, seems time consuming.
As an example, a cover file for one of our books, without the trim marks, is 12.625" by 9". The script would prompt a user for the width of the cover, they would input 6" and it would, ideally, set the crop box to be 6" wide and 9" high (not touching the height, since that is already correct), and then save that cropped PDF as a JPG (and not save the cropped PDF so as to leave it untouched after the process is done), preferably with an option to select the output location and even batch run it on a bunch of PDF cover files.
I'm sure this is possible, does anyone think it will be particularly easy? I don't have a lot of experience but I'm not necessarily looking for a handout since I'm not really bringing a whole lot to the table (but will take one!). Any help or pointers appreciated, or maybe someone who already has something like this could provide some help or resources to get started, even If I have to piece it together from a series of helpful URLs.
Thanks in advance for any helpful responses I'm anticipating!
    Nick

Take a look at these two Acrobat JavaScript methods:
    Doc.setPageBoxes():
    http://help.adobe.com/livedocs/acrobat_sdk/11/Acrobat11_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/htm l/wwhelp.htm?context=Acrobat11…
This function allows you to set the crop box. When you combine this with Doc.getPageBox(), you can then adjust the crop box to e.g. the 6" area you want.
    Doc.saveAs():
    http://help.adobe.com/livedocs/acrobat_sdk/11/Acrobat11_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/htm l/wwhelp.htm?context=Acrobat11_HTMLHelp&file=JS_API_AcroJS.89.530.html
As you can see, the cConvID parameter allows you to specify the output format - and JPEG is an option.

  • Help please - converting to PDF

    Hi all,
I'm having a few problems with some of the text in a document I'm working on. The problem is that some of my text is being rasterised, whilst some is remaining as text, when I am saving my document as a pdf.
I cannot figure out why this is occuring, as it seems to be happening to random segments of text. Obviously the quality of the text is poor when rasterising with compression, and I would like all the text to be actual text!
Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this is happening, and what I can do to prevent it..
Thanks in advance for any help!

It appears Jason' problem is line 7 (carriage returns ignored, WTF) in a PS text box has a white knockout mask behind the type, causing a "rasterized" look. I don't have Pitstop, but with Acrobat, it appears that the mask might even be misaligned. Who knows how it will print. But the type IS staying vector. I know most folks wouldn't typeset this many lines in PS, but I can't find any references to this as a known "issue". Anyone seen it???
    <br />
<br />On my Mac, it's the whole line (when I build a test file). On his (PC) file, it appears to be just the first character.

  • Help with converting pdf to word please

When I convert a pdf file to word, the document is showing some pages as corrupt?

    Hi Wen48Bar
What is the version of Acrobat are you using ?

  • I need help in converting PDF to PS and back to PDF

I am using the ghostScript distiller for PS to PDF file conversions. I need to know if I can make it convert from PDF to PS and back to PDF while optimizing the PDF in the process using the pdfopt.bat. I believe that changes need to be made to idcrefinery.cfg to allow for this conversion (Using an inbound refinery "IBR" to convert certain file types to PDF when checked in through a content server). My need is to be able to optimize PDF files upon checkin to the content server. Any tips, guidance, or ANY help would be greatly appriciated.
    Thank you,
    Roger

Sounds like a question for GhostScript users, not Acrobat users.
