Help please I can't install C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) on my Windows 8 pro PC 32 bits-processor x64.

I'm trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) and I have installed the x86 file but when I start the x64 file it shows me a window with the words: "Setup failed" and "0x81f40001 - Microsoft Visual C++
2012 Redistributable (x64) - 11.0.0610 can only be installed on Windows XP SP1 and newer platforms."

Aditional information: a few days ago I uninstalled a few programs and I don't know if I deleted something I shouldn't but I have the 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012(x86) versions installed.
I just want to know how to install this file or to correct this error.

@David,
I think it's time for you to consult your Game support forum about the following:
1. Will their game need the reference to x64 runtime. Or maybe you need to install the x86 version game instead of x64 version.
2. Does the problem actually due to some other reasons. I think they need to check for your installation logs for details.
Anyway, it seems the issue is now out of scope of this forum .

Can't install driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit

Hi,
I can not install the driver for HP P1006 LaserJet under Windows 8.1 64 bit.
I download the driver installation program from the HP website. When I run it, it says reinstalling the driver files, then copying files to the hard drive and then it crashes. I also tried using the driver CD that came with the printer to no avail.
The printer works fine on my other laptop with Vista on it. Help!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are trying to install your HP Laserjet P1006 to your computer running Windows 8.1, but everytime you attempt to extract the files it crashes. After some research I see there were no updated drivers made available for the Windows 8.1 OS, you must install the Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver, to get the basic printing functions. Please click on the link below to download and install:
HP LaserJet P1000-P1500 Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver
Once downloaded, please follow the on screen instructions. I hope this helps!

HELP PLEASE? Can I install SB Fatal1ty Pro software/ drivers over SB Audigy 2 software drive

Hey guys! My name is Glenn and heres?my story! I have the SB Audigy 2 on my computer for the last 5 ?years +. I also had it connected to a 300 watt Panasonic surround sound reciever via the digital out to the recievers "coax in" for my DVD/ Gaming and it worked great. Then?my Panasonic finally took a dump!?So.....time to buy a upgraded surround system! Yeah! So I bought a 000 watt LG 5. system and it sounds GREAT, when played from the LG receiver! Unfortunatley the only digital in it has is a optical TosLINK. So I figure after looking at the Creative SB website it's tme to buy a Digital I/O module and I'll be good to go.......WRONG!?My I/O module gets here, I plug it into the digital out on my SB Audigy 2 card and a BIG NOTHING! So since I was using the Windows XP drivers with my SB sound card I figure if I intall the Audigy 2 software maybe the software will have a digital output fix, so I do a system restore point prior to installing the SB software (figuring just in case of emergency I can roll? my system back)and then I installed the SB Audigy 2 software. Again a big NOT! So after more research it looks like it is not compatable! ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!So time for a sound card upgrade with Digital I/O module compatability, hence I now?own the?SB Fatalty Professional card as of yesterday. So before I?install the new card I set about removing all the old SB software.So I'm cool TILL?I try to remove the SB Audigy 2 software! [color="#ff3300">BAM! I get that stupid "Unhandled Exception Error number 0x8004020"?screen at the 65% unistall mark!!!!!!!!! Well now I'm pissed! I read on the internet and IN THIS FORUM that the only way to get it off?is the "safeboot" mode" method?from the europe forum and guess what.......your right......it doesn't work!!!!!!! I tried every which way but NO GO! I also tried to do several system restores and now it will not even restore to any previous time !!!!!! [size="4" color="#ff0000">I'M GETTING MORE AND MORE PISSED! You would think after all this time since the first issue popped up regarding this uninstall? problem Creative would have FIXED THIS! It isn't a Windows issue! Mozilla, like many other software companies, thoroughly test their software before releasing it to the public and I'm sure that no problem you are having is intentional.
I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

It's more likely a failed Erase Free Space, which creates a huge temporary file; that's why it looks like you have no more available drive space. You can recover from this. See these links

Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Yosemite. If you get told it's incompatible, the computer's also incompatible with Mountain Lion and Mavericks; if desired, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data and check your applications for compatibility before upgrading. In particular, Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

In order to fix this, I need to run:
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade b2b -force -inplace -cmd application content -install -cmd install features
But SP doesn’t recognize “b2b”. is the the content or config db?

Your Syntax is bad. b2b should follow -inplace, it doesn't make sense anywhere else in the command. Have a look here for more detail:

2. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
    Press the "Delete All" button.
    Install Adobe Flash Player.

Can't install Sound Blaster live 5.1 on Windows XP machine

I've been using?Sound Blaster Li've! Platinum 5. on my pc running Win ME for years. I've just formatted the PC and installed Windows XP Professional on it and now when I try to install Sound Blaster from the original installation CD, I get the error "Sound blaster li've 5. is incompatible with this version of windows". It still allows me to install but then I get all sorts of errors when playing back audio files etc.
I've now?re-installed XP but obviously can't use Sound Blaster and I would really like to!
I'm a musician and not?technically minded?at all so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is your sound card was preinstalled or was it come in a retail box?
If it is a retail version then you get the driver and applications (Win XP Professional 64 bit) from the below link.
