HELP PLEASE! MY TYPING-KEYBOARD IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!
I have Garageband, and I use the typing board to play music. Nothing wrong has gone on, but now, it's a huge mess!
Whenever I play on the Keyboard, it just sounds fine, but if there are other tracks playing while recording, it tends to stutter, and slow down.
Example: If I rapidly type on the piano, it makes the music, and sounds well. But when I record and do the same thing, it just sounds like it's "tripping" and "stuttering". The keyboard can't seem to catch up with the song! But it doesn't happen on our macbook!
But the weirdest thing, is that it just recently began to happen...after we got Snow Leopard.
Does anyone have the same problem? What's wrong with Garageband?
I am not sure of the ins and outs, but it is generally accepted that using the typing function to play software instruments in GB is asking for trouble. Its full of latency issues, for whatever reason. Its not a Snow thing, since 10.5.6 I have not been able to use this feature seriously or accurately for composition.

I understand why you would think that, but logically it doesn't make sense. I can read and write to the ipod with windows explorer with no problems, so the flash drive seems to be ok. I can also load, read and play songs through Itunes 6 on the computer with no problems. The problems start in Itunes 7 and when the ipod is used as an ipod alone....not a drive. The diagnostic windows tell me the drive is fine and the battery is ok (just a little low on voltage) but hubby says not enough to worry about. If anything was wrong with the hardware I wouldn't be able to use it as a drive would I? Its almost as though the thing is "stuck" on the boot up window of "use Itunes to restore". I even tried to load rockbox. The software all loaded but I still got the itunes restore window on startup and thats as far as I can go. Another thing I noticed recently is I can't seem to turn the ipod off! I can reset it but it just "reboots". After the restore notice about 10 seconds later the whole screen will blank out. Also when I plug the ipod directly to the wall to charge, I also get the apple...then the itunes restore notice...but never a battery charge icon (like my classic 20gb)...is this normal? This nano was given to me - (Also, this is a first generation, but I posted in the second generation thread) Would a repartition work?

Help Please! iMac screen colours have gone crazy
Can someone please please help me to solve this problem? I was playing around with my new iMac screen settings. I made changes to the calibration colour settings. Now I notice that the colour has all gone to alpha, gamma range and is looking horrible. Can someone please help me to restore the factory settings for the display? Or suggest ways in which I can fix it please? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Open System Preferences->Displays->Color and select "iMac". That should be the factory default settings, as when you run the calibrator the last thing it asks you is what you want to call your calibrated profile. The default name is "iMac Calibrated" which should be in that list too. If its not there and you overwrote the original, click the "Calibrate" button again and just click through it using the default choices it gives you. This will return the display to its default look.

IPod exceeds power. HELP!!! It's driving me crazy!
Whenever I connect my iPod nano 4gb to my computer, it tells me that the "device connected to the USB port has exceeded power limits of the USB hub and needs to be disconnected immediately". I am using this iPod for over a year and i always connected the cable to the same USB port. I tried it on another computer and i get the same thing. So the problem is definitely the iPod or the cable. Can anyone who experienced the same problem tell me what can i do to resolve it? Thnx

My iMac 24 can no longer be paired with the keyboard; it doesn't recognise any keyboard at boot up, even the one it is paired with. Can anyone help, please?
Thank. SimonBrian - The batteries are fine and there has only every been one keyboard paired with it. We have tried my MacPro keyboard as well, and it will not even recognise that there is a discoverable keyboard nearby.

My bluetooth keyboard (Macnus brand - bought recently in Thailand)(similar to Mac small keyboard) will pair with my iPad using code 8310,and is recognized by my iMac but will not pair?
There are very scant instructions with the keyboard and no mention of any code (the code was prompted by my iPad).
I have followed the instructions but it still will not pair with my iMac!

I have been unable to find any website for the maker, but have looked at several Thai/cambodian sites incl <http://www.buycoms.com/Article/8435/index.asp> which mentions the keyboard being suitable for tablet or windows. No mention of iMac! although the box is branded to indicate Mac compatable.
I'm thinking that maybe it just will not pair with an iMac.
Ill keep looking for the maker website, which might come on later in the future? maybe?

I am having some problem with the Apple Wireless Keyboard. It has not problem connecting to both my iPad mini / iPhone 4S.
The problem comes when I start to type with it. All the keys are functioning will, except when I am trying to capitalise the letter 'r'.
I tried using Shift + r. It doesn't work, regardless whether I use the left or right Shift key.
Any someone help please. Thank you.If your Macbook is less than a year old, it is under warranty. A repair of of a problem of this kind would be free. So, if you have a warranty, have the problem fixed by Apple.

I am going to install and Test Oracle 10g on Vista as my future client will use Just Vista and no othr OS, so there is no OTHER OS options,
I ready all the documentaiotn and release notes and also read that Oracle 10g(10.2.0.3) is certified on Vita Ultimate.
I downloaded the DB which is frm the below link:

Every time I sync my Iphone 5c(with ios 8) to Itunes, it 1. deletes all of my purchased music 2. deletes all of my album artwork 3. replaces all of my deleted songs. please help! this is driving me crazy! It syncs 100+ songs, when I only want to sync 1! I'm running Itunes 11.3.1.2
After having experienced similar problems and having it back to work, I have a few suggestions:
- Try to find out if the syncing stops at a particular track or song. That might - out of the blue - have gotten corrupted in one way or another. Since that song will not be on the iPod, iTunes will try over and over to put it on and crash in one way or another;
- reformat the iPod as described in the iTunes 9 crash-thread. It takes time (at first it seems to do nothing, but that is because the green bar is moving with very small steps);

If no change after restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, more than likely your iPhone has a hardware problem. You can make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

You could try booting from the install disk #1 (holding down the "C" key while starting up with the disk in) that came with it and then running disk utility to repair the disk. Then restart.
Booting into safe mode (holding the shift key right after the startup tone) and then after it comes up in safe mode, restarting can also help this issue.
Booting into single user mode and running fsck may also help..

Hopefully it is just a simple error on your HD that is causing this problem.
(if you have already done all this before posting, i apologize for suggesting the obvious first... im new to this board and just trying to help!)

Apple iPAD 2. Needs password to unlock iPAD; however there is a permanent keyboard displayed on the screen that does not respond to touch. iPAD switches on with button but does not turn off using it at moment. Can you help please?
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. See if that clears the glitch.
