HELP! SAP Execute Delete Archiving Session failure

Dear All,
Could anyone give me opinions on SAP problems?
When we archived object u201CFI_documntu201D, delete a u201CFilesu201D in tcode u201CSARAu201D, the AIX file system u201C/Oarcle/R3P/oraarchu201D was full, SAP and database have stopped, one archiving session deleting was failed and cannot retry. The SAP error message below:
"Text CCR 110000570022007002 ID 0001 language EN not found"
Message no. TD600
Diagnosis: you want to read a text which does not exist in the database (or update memory)
system response: Reading could not be carried out.
Procedure: you need to create this text:
1.Initialization (module INIT_TEXT)
2.Save (module SAVE_TEXT)
In SAP -> Overview of Archiving, the icon of file "000092-0031FI_DOCUMNT" is a THUNDER, not a green light.
I captured screen for reference.

Please teach me how to delete archiving session after archive job was completed.

Hi Alan,
I have not faced this particular situation, so the following is just a thought,  please try with caution.
Delete the cancelled job from the job overview, this possibly does away with the flash icon (THUNDER) on the deletion status of archive file, hopefully you should be able to manually re-run the delete job by going to SARA-(object FI_DOCUMNT) ->Delete and choosing the file for which deletion was incomplete.
Hope this works,
Naveen

  • Deleting archive files

    Hi gurus,
    we have been archived pi messages and we can see this with t-code al11. We would like to physically delete this files. How can we do that?
    Kind Regards,
    PM

    Hi Peter,
                      Do you possess administrative rights to install software in your system? If yes please download the WINSCP software from this link http://winscp.net/eng/download.php
    After you install the software, consult the SAP logon pad and put server details of your PI server in WINSCP configuration. Put port number as 22.
    Request your SAP BASIS OS level team to provide you with username and password to login to the PI server at Operating system level. with WINSCP you can copy, move,create and delete files in the PI server. WINSCP acts as a FTP bridge between your system and PI server.
    If you do not have administrative privileges. You need to write scripts or batch files. If operating system in PI server is unix/linux use this link http://www.unix.com/shell-programming-scripting/24911-how-delete-files-unix-using-shell-script.html
    to write shell scripts to delete files. Request your basis team to copy the script to server and execute it once.
    If your operating system is windows then use this link http://stackoverflow.com/questions/51054/batch-file-to-delete-files-older-than-n-days. Request your basis team to copy the batch to server and execute it once.
    Finally you can use the feature "Defining Operating System Commands Before/After Processing" in File sender or receiver communication channel configuration settings. Here you can set the command to execute shell scripts or batch files which will delete old files during each  instance of running the scenario. For more information on this technique try these links

  • How can we cleanup invalidated archive sessions  (remove from UNIX)

    Over the years, we have accumulated many invalidated archive session files in our archive directory in UNIX.  We would love to remove these invalidated session files to free up space.
    We have been looking at BC_ARCHIVE ... but the documentation on it only mentions the archive of logs  ... not the cleanup of invalid session files that need to be deleted
    Can we just delete the files of sessions that are invalid?  Or must we perform some function in SAP to delete them?  SAP ... can you document the process for this?

    Hi,
    You can simply delete the archive files at unix level thats all. No need to do anything else in SAP.
    Cheers!

  • Delete Archived messages files

    Hi,
    I am using filesystem to archive XI messages.
    I want to delete the old archived files from the filesystem,
    as the filesystem is getting fill with old data.
    I don't want to keep archived files which are 6 weeks old.
    I can delete the files at OS level. But thats not a proper way

    I will clarify my question again in more detail.
    I want to delete the Archiving session data, index data for the archives and the archived files stored in filesystem.
    I want to delete all the arvhived sessions related data which is 6 weeks old. This taks should be possible by using some job, which I can schedule daily with a variable for 6 weeks.
    I hope this make my question more clear.

  • Delete Archived Messages

    Currently, My Mail Archive is about 3GB.  I would like to export this to an external drive then delete the items in the Achive Folder on my computer to reduce the install footprint.
    1.     If I export the mail, can I get at it again by importing the exported mailbox
    2.     If I delete the mail in the Archive Folder in Mail on my MacBook Pro, will I still be able to access the mail on my external Hard Drive?
    3.     Will deleting the Archived mail affect the other saved messages in other mailboxes I have created, like Family or Friends or some other folder?
    Thanks for your thoughts and advice

  • Deleted BDC sessions

    Howdy!
    I wanna be able to view deleted BDC sessions is there a way to do this?
    Or are they gone forever when I can't no longer seem em from SM35???????
    Also is there any good documentation on how the underlying table relations in SAP work and how to approach programming and a really good guide for beginners?
    Thanks y'all

    Hi Steve
    Sorry but I think you've lost deleted BDC sessions.
    I couldn't figure out what you mean by underlying table relations in SAP but there are some ways to gather information about ABAP programming. It is obvious that hands-on working is a must. Here are some ways that I can recommend:
    1. "ABAP Objects — The Official Reference"
    A comprehensive guide to all ABAP language elements
    by Horst Keller & Joachim Jacobitz
    --> You can find more info from http://www.sap-press.com/H958.html
    --> The miniWAS demo system is a good opportunity for hands-on experience
    --> The older version "ABAP Objects: Introduction to Programming SAP Applications"
    by Horst Keller, Sascha Kruger may also be OK
    2. "Sams Teach Yourself ABAP/4 in 21 Days" by Ken Greenwood
    --> This may be found from http://www.amazon.com and has a simpler aspect then the book above
    3. SAP Educations offered by SAP Education Partners
    --> There are various classes. There are some supplementary documents and of course hands-on experience
    3. SAP online help: http://help.sap.com
    4. There are various sites on the internet about ABAP programming, just make a search and look around.

  • How to execute the ' alter session set NLS_DATE_FORMAT='YYYYMMDD'  in the procedure??

    hi,
    i programme a procedure which include some requirements that
    should execute the command like ' alter session set
    NLS_DATE_FORMAT='YYYYMMDD' '.
    but the sqlplus error is
    PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "ALTER" when expecting one of
    the following:
    begin declare end exit for goto if loop mod null pragma
    raise
    return select update while <an identifier>
    <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> <a bind
    variable> <<
    close current delete fetch lock insert open rollback
    savepoint set sql execute commit forall
    <a single-quoted SQL string>
    The symbol "update was inserted before "ALTER" to
    continue.
    help me please.

    you can set that parameter in 2 ways from stored procedures.
    1) execute immediate 'alter session...'
    remember, Oracle gives commit while executing above command.
    2) use dbms_session.set_nls procedure.
    dbms_session.set_nls('nls_date_format','mm/dd/yyyy');

  • Invalidate Archiving Session??

    Hello Experts,
    I have an archived session(only the write phase is complete). For some reason I want to invalidate this session. But when I display the details of this session I dont find a check box saying invalidate.
    I know there are other methods of making a session invalid.
    Does any body know about this criteria as to when this checkbox is available or not.
    Please let me know. Points would be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Vinod Iyer.

    Hi Vinod,
    For your requirement..
    You can not make this session invalid, unless you got some problem in archiving/writing process.
    The consequence is your info-provider is still locked until you delete the archived data.
    But there is another solution to make it,
    You can mark NOTGUILTY field in admi_run table. unfortunately, there is no provided screen to maintain it.
    So you must create your own program.
    Hopefully it can help you a lot.
    Regards,
    Niel.

  • Creating archiving session note

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement in which I am writing a program which executes another program in background for 5 times.
    Once a background job has been submitted i want an archiving session note to be created for that particular session.
    I have gone thru some documents on how to create the archive file and different FM's like ARCHIVE_OPEN_FOR_WRITE, ARCHIVE_NEW_OBJECT, ARCHIVE_CLOSE_FILE, but i am not very sure how to use them, can anyone please help me and guide on this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sunanda.

    Dear Bhanu,
    the error message means that the spool list of specified archiving run is not available.
    In standard the message is raised either from include MAADMF05 or from MAADMF06 when the form show_spool_list is called and the value in field SPOOLID from table ADMI_RUN is empty for the here used archiving run.

  • Error while executing the rule session

    Hi, I am using Oracle Business Rules Engine 10.1.3.3.0.I am developing rules using XML Facts.I am using a complex type array schema and binding it to define XML facts.Earlier the depth of the schema is 1 and it worked fine,now our schema's depth is 2 and while binding this schema is also working fine.The sample structure of the present schema I am binding is
    <xsd:schema>
    <xsd:element name = 'ruleRepository' type = 'RuleRepositoryType'/>
    <xsd:complexType name='RuleRepositoryType'>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element ='ruleFacts' type='RuleFactsType' minOccurs='0' maxOccurs='unbounded'/>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:complexType name='RuleFactsType'>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name='fact1' type='xsd:string'/>
    <xsd:element name='fact2' type='xsd:string'/>
    <xsd:element name='fact3' type='xsd:string'/>
    <xsd:element name='fact4' type='Fact4' minOccurs='0' maxOccurs='unbounded'/>
    <xsd:sequence/>
    </xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:complexType name='Fact4'>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name='element1' type='xsd:string'/>
    <xsd:element name='element2' type='xsd:string'/>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:schema>
    Earlier I have binded the similar schema as above but without 'fact4'.It went well and the rules were executing fine.
    However when I am trying to bind a similar schema like the above one, its binding fine but when executing from the BPEL Process,its giving errors like,
    "Error Caching Decision Services metadata,fact3 is undefined in DM,line6,Column 12",
    Please note that I am using fact1 and fact2 only for defining the rules , I am niether using fact3 which is a simple type nor fact4 which is a complex type.
    I have asserted Package.RuleRepositoryType in the definitions of the rule author.I have tried with different combinations of assertions but no one worked.
    The above error(
    "Error Caching Decision Services metadata,fact3 is undefined in DM,line6,Column 12") is coming for the first run of the decision service only,in the next runs its giving another error,which is like

    where 'BookOrderDecision' is the name of the decision service I am using in BPEL.
    I dont understand why I am getting two errors for the same BPEL Process.
    Kindly help me in this problem.I am stuck with this for about a week but could not get to the solution.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Venkat.

    Hi Venkat,
    Whenever you do schema changes, you need to go through the cycle of
    re-importing the XML schema in the rule repository, re-create the decision
    service partnerlink, re-deploy the decision service.
    I suspect you have maybe imported the entire XML fact type model (with fact3 and
    fact4) instead of just fact1 and fact2 (might want to check in rule author).
    So even if you don't use fact3 and fact4 in decision service, they are part of the rules
    datamodel.
    Regards,
    Ralf
