Help! Save to remote server has broken links to all images

Okay, I (now) know this was a stupid thing to do - but surely there must be an easy way to rectify it...!?
I usually 'PUT' the html files to the remote server, once they have been saved locally. But I keep getting frustrated with the uploading of all the dependency files, so... I 'discovered' the command 'SAVE TO REMOTE SERVER' and used this to save my html file directly to the server. I was asked if I wanted to update all the links - and I clicked YES (doh!)
Now all my images and links are broken.
I know it is just a single page - but it contains quite a number of links and images. Also, this page used a template and the image/links from the template within this one file are also broken. (The actual template file and all the other pages in the site are okay)
'Undo' did not work
Does anybody know a quick way to fix this?

Sorry to say you've learn a valuable lesson the hard way. Never, never save to remote server without first checking your work locally.
You'll need to fix the links. Working locally and in code view, identify the path problem. Do a Find & Replace (Ctrl+F) in the source code. Test in browsers. THEN when everything works properly upload to server.

IPhone has broken links in mail

I receive several mail with links from forums I visit. On my iPad I can just tab the links, but on the iPhone the links are broken, and when I tab them, the path to the forum thread is not existing. This has been a problem very long, please help.

try to duplicate the problem when you make a new User account on your Mac:
- open System Preferences, Accounts
- click the + sign and make a new User
- switch to the new user account (appears top right when you click on your user name)
- start Mail and enter your email account settings
- try sending a Mail
If this duplicates your problem, the Mail program itself maybe corrupt and you may need to re-install.
If this does not duplicate your problem, your problem is local.
Not sure how you can repair this, but you might try to drag your plist file to the desktop and restart Mail:
Open Preferences from within the Mail program and note the exact settings for your email accounts.
Quit Mail
Drag the following file to the desktop:
your home directory / Library / Preferences / com.apple.mail.plist
Restart Mail
Re-install your mail settings
These actions will not interfere with your mailboxes, it will simply create a new plist preference file when you re-start Mail.

GC Heap Remote Performance Monitor : Broken link for hotfixe download

When using GC Heap window in the Remote Performance Monitor on a device that is running the

RC2 has broken link to PS6 Beta

Hello
After installing LR4.1 RC2 i have lost the link to PS6 when working with CR2 files... when i right click "edit in" PS6 opens but no document is created... when i do teh same with a DNG file all works fine... perhaps it is an issue with Camera Raw compatability?
Both CR2 and DNG work fine with PS5.5
Obviously this is not a major issue but it is behaviour that needs to be fixed...

Found my own answer for this one i think...
If i understadn the info i found, ACR 6.7 supports CR2 files from 5D MKII but ACR 7.0 does not... as PS CS6 uses ACR 7.0 i suppose that explains teh issue...

How does one save a website as a functional - links enabled including images PDF

Can someone please tell me:
Using FF version 3.6.13 - is there a way to save a website in a 'functional' PDF format. Functional meaning the links will work and the images will be illustrated.

No, you would need an addon that provides PDF functionality in or through Firefox.

MHTML is more of a "web browser" format for saving web pages to a single file. Most web browsers have the capability of reading that file format, and some will even save to that format. For Firefox there are two addons that will add MHTML capabilites.

Error testing locally; works fine on remote server

Images do not show when deployed on remote server

We are using jdeveloper 11.1.2.1, adf and integrated weblogic and remote server has weblogic where we deploy the application for testing.
We have a login.html page. when deployed and running the image in login.html does not show in FF or IE 8. It shows on IE9. when deployed on the remote server.
When deployed on the integrated server only fire fox shows the image. None of the other web browsers show the image in login,html

The problem does not seem to be with TopLink or JPA, so you may want to post this question to a different forum, such as the JDeveloper/ADF forum at:

If the image itself is being sent but not loaded, you might check that it is a display issue with the browser being used.

How to execute BC4J code on remote server using DBC Files

Hi People,
I have a requirement here that i do not know if it's possible to achieve. We have an Application Module that fetches some records and another Application Module that receives them as parameters and inserts these records in interface tables. However, the BC4J code is installed on the JAVA_TOP of the Development Instance, and will not be installed on the destination server. What i would like to do is to place the target instance DBC file on the FND_TOP/secure directory on the Dev instance, and instantiate the Application module pointing to this DBC file, so that the AM connections would point to the target instance (thus inserting the data on the correct tables). Is that possible?
Please let me know if you want further clarification. I have seen something similar working on iSetup (extract from source env -> Load on dest env) but have got no clue about implementing that.

you can follow this steps.
1. Create a database link to the remote server
CREATE DATABASE LINK remote_Server
CONNECT TO apps IDENTIFIED BY apps
USING 'remote';
2. Create a Synonym for the table in the remote server
CREATE SYNONYM po_headers_remote
FOR po_headers_all@remote_Server
3. Create entity object based on this synonym.
4. Create View Object based on above EO.
Through this view object you can udpate remote database...

Could not reach dscc agent, check cacaoadm status on remote server

Dear All,
Below issue, am able to see here discussed previously, but it was not resolved properly, hence please help me here to understand more.
We are trying to create a new ldap instance remotely from the DSCC server, but able to see that the particular remote server dscc agent port 11162 is not accessible from DSCC server. While trying to create a new instance, able to get an error message as " could not reach dscc agent on XXX server, Use the command cacaoadm command to check that the dscc agent is installed and running on the port 1162"
Possible reason which could have
1] Cacao not running on the XXX box
Answer: Verified its status, the service is running and also the particular port is on listen mode

default instance is ENABLED at system startup.

2] The cacao by default is listening to its loop back address and need to change its values to 0.0.0.0 for accepting all connections.
Answer: We were already changed its value to 0.0.0.0 [ In one thread there was an advise to change to host IP address, we tried that one also]

Presently we are investigating this part.
But I were trying to find out any other issue can cause this problem? I were able to see multiple thread were pointing same error message, but were not that much helpful compare to our present situation. When am doing a telnet attempt from DSCC server to XXX server, its failing. Not sure exactly firewall is blocking this connection or cacao not able to establish connection from outside. Please advise

For starters try using a telnet from the dscc to the cacao port on the remote server, to make sure you can connect. If you can, I've seen similar issues, when the remote server can't resolve the hostname of the dscc server. Make sure the remote server has the dscc hostname in it's /etc/hosts file, or if you're using DNS make sure you can resolve the dscc, and do the same on the dscc, make sure it can resolve the hostname of the remote server.

I have 2 servers,a local server connect with remote server through database link.If I execute a query at local server but only access tables in remote server,does local server send this query to remote server or all the tables at remote server will send to local server?If local server send this query to remote server,does it can execute another query while it waits the result send from remote server?

I am getting "404 page not found" when I try to download installation instructions for 10.2.0.4 Management Agent for Windows x86-64 platform.
