!!! HELP !!! SO FRUSTRATED!
Somebody help...I'm going crazy! A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO ABOUT HALF OF MY PHOTOS, OLDER NOT NEWER ONES, COULD ONLY BE VIEWED IN THE OVERVIEW! WHEN I DOUBLE CLICKED TO BE VIEWED TO EDIT, ALL I GOT WAS A CONTINUIING SPINNING INDICATOR... I READ SOME DISCUSSIONS AND IT SEEMED LIKE I HAD TO REBUILD MY LIBRARY...SO I DID. I JUST REBUILT THE WHOLE THING CONSIDERING THERE WERE NOT TOO MANY PHOTOS TO BEGIN WITH. NOW MY IPHOTO IS COMPLETELY MESSED UP ! WHEN I OPEN IT, IT IS SO INCREDIBLY SLOW AND I CAN STILL ONLY VIEW HALF MY PHOTOS!!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO..I CANT REALLY JUST PLAY AROUND WITH IT CONSIDERING IT TAKES ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO SCROLL UP ABOUT 4 CENTIMETERS, LOL! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP...THANKS ALOT, ....LISA

Hi lisa,
Follow the next instructions to create a new library and see if you can get your photos back.
Close iPhoto
Rename your messed up iPhoto Library to "iPhoto Library_old"
Drag this library to your desktop
Hold down the Option key and launch iPhoto
This is the window you will get
Create a new library or choose a library to open
Choose to create a new library
Once this new empty library is open it is time to import the images from your old library
Go to File>add to library
Navigate to the old library on your desktop and highlight it in the window, then click the "import" button.
iPhoto will start importing the images from your old library
This is what to expect:
Your images will be imported in nice dated rolls. (make sure your view is set to sort by rolls to see it) There are a couple of caveats to this. You will get rolls named "Originals" These rolls will contain your video clips and your original images that you had edited. If you had RAW files they would be in those rolls too (I don't do RAW, so I don't know for sure) Delete what you don't want from those rolls. You will also get the jpeg pointer files to your video clips imported. They will just be jpegs and will not point to the video clips anymore as iPhoto made new ones when the clips were imported again. You can delete those. they should be in a roll right next to the newly imported video clips so they are not hard to find. The thumbnail files don't get imported as iPhoto makes new ones when the images are imported.
Once all you images have been imported, check through the library and make sure everything looks ok.
You can now start making your Albums, and do your keywords or any other organizational steps.
You can also delete the old library on the desktop.
It is also a good time to backup this new library to CD/DVD by burning the iPhoto LIbrary folder in the Finder, or copying the iPhoto Library folder to an external drive formatted for Macs, or copying the iPhoto LIbrary folder to an iPod.

absolutely that is frustrating. if the battery life is fine there could be two things software or hardware. to find out if your back up your information in itunes and import pictures and then restore the phone as NEW then you can test it out. if it is still shutting off it is hardware related

For the wifi problem:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect OK before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I am working with the Green Grocery Newsletter Template, and I am trying to substitute the text. As an example of my issue, when I highlight the title text and start typing, it turns blue, even though the text color box still shows green. Actually, any text I try to replace turns blue! If I try to change the color of my blue text, the text color box shows the new color, but the text on the template is of course, still blue.
Please help:)! So frustrated and on a deadline.

Itunes doesnt recognize Ipod, please help, getting frustrated!!
OK today I plugged my ipod into my computer to update it and magically it started updating, i dont know what I did but it updated the stuff that i have added recently. Yesterday it wouldnt update and it hasnt updated for the past 2 weeks. Now after adding a couple of more songs i go to update it again and nothing happens, now what is going on, I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the ipod updater and the itunes updater, the latest software is on my ipod, i reset my ipod because it froze last night, i dont know what to do, I am close to taking it to the apple store but im not sure what they could do about it. Is there something in itunes that I need to click so my ipod will be recognized, this is getting very frustrating, my ipod use to update every single time that I plugged it in, my computer is fairly new but my ipod has worked several times on this computer before, so please anyone HELP ME!!
i am having the same problem and i am going insane. It i had my ipod since christmas and never had a problem till this week. When i plug it in the ipod displays the "Do not Disconnect" but itunes doesnt pop up or show that the ipod is plugged in. When i try to update it the updater also says that the ipod isnt plugged in. I know have lost all the songs in my ipod but they are still in my itunes but it wont update. Somebody please help, its been about 4 days and im going crazy.

Need Help - Majorly Frustrated!!!!
Everytime I go into iTunes and do something- like attempt to buy a song, or redeem a gift card it says Error 9808. And that theres a problem with the iTunes store. Well this has been happening for about a week or so. I am so frustrated!! It used to work- now it doesn't! I have uploaded iTunes like twice- deleted it and re did it. And nothing- the same dang thing! I have talked to one support person who couldn't really help. I did everything she said and nothing. I am tempted to leave iTunes but don't know where else you can download songs to your iPods!!! And not to mention I have a 25 dollar gift card! ugg!

After recently purchasing a mac i decided to upload my photos from my iPhone to iPhoto. I accidentally disconnected the charger and now whenever i click 'import photos' it tells me that iPhoto is 'importing photos to library' which i can tell you it is not. because the phone is not connected and it has been doing it for days now.i tried to force quit and it hasn't work. It won't let me shut the computer down now either as it thinks it is currently importing something so i have to wait for the computers battery to die which is ridiculous. Becoming increasingly frustrated with this problem and not sure where else to turn. Please help. Thanks, Neil.
If the ➙ Force Quit method won't let you shutdown iPhoto try this command in the Terminal:
killall iPhoto
followed by the Return or Enter key
It might take more than one go for it to take.
Failing that close all other applications and hold the power button down until the computer shuts down. Reboot and try iPhoto again. -
Please Help! Frustrating rebate question
I'm sorry for posting this here, but I did not see any other relevant board to post on.
I just bought a Macbook and got a printer that I THOUGHT was included in the $100 mail-in rebate. When I added my computer to the cart I scrolled down to see other stuff the site recommended adding, which is when I saw the $100 mail-in rebate with a suggested printer in the box, so I decided to buy the printer only to find out that the printer (Epson Stylus CX5800F) was not included in the rebate!
I am not sure who I can talk to but I am very angry! I think that is VERY misleading for them to list a printer (with an "Add to My Cart" button next to it!!!) in a box advertising a printer that is not even qualified for that rebate!
I did some searching and found out that Apple ran a similiar rebate until the end of July in which this specific printer WAS qualified for the rebate and I am assuming someone forgot to change this item as one that would show with an add to cart button.
I'm frustrated and have had no luck finding help and would appreciate if someone could lead me in the right direction. :-/ Thank you...I e-mailed Apple about this problem, since I am more
of an e-mail than a phone person, and they e-mailed
me back the VERY next day and are now issuing a $100
refund to my credit card. I hope that if anyone else
had this same problem that you get your money back!

I purchased PE 8 short time ago, tested the program before leaving on a trip and downloaded successfully,. On my return I have trying to download the video from my camera, a Canon vixia hv40 camcorder (hdv) but I get a screen telling me that the camera settings and the project settings are not the same. the accompanying error code is: c0000005, the address 7c9118b5. I have tried every setting on the camera (HDV, HDV (PF30), HDV (PF24), HDV (24F) and even DV with the same result. Let me add that I am frustrated and greatly disappointed with Adobe
support. I have called twice, left my phone number as instructed, and was never called back. Needless to say, help would be greatly appreciated.
48chocAs long as it has the SSE2 instruction set (I think that all Pentiums did), you will not get any warning - other than everything taking so very, very long, with what will appear to be freezes, while processing is going on.
I would definitely look at this ARTICLE, plus the various PrE FAQ entries on tuning up one's system for video-editing. The lower the performance of the computer, the more important it is to have it tuned to the max.

Connect it to your computer and restore it as a new device. Then chose what music you want to sync with it and do so just like your Touch does.

Please Help, Very Frustrated - iPhoto 11 & Canon Raw(.cr2) files
I recently started shooting raw(.cr2) with Canon 6D (on the list), while on vacation of course.... while there I loaded all my images to my Ipad to save room, due to only having my 16gb memory card with me, yesterday I decided to take them off the ipad and store them in iPhoto where all my work is stored and back it up to my external harddrive, I have tried for 4 hoursto figure out why it won't upload to iPhoto 11, nothing works, it acts as if its uploading and then after 30 mins it says unrecognizable format(see screen capture below).
I have read several other different forums and similar questions all the way back to 2005 and nothing seems to help, I tried making a smart album, updating the software, but iPhoto will not recognize the pics. I did find one forum that said use Image Capture and do it that way, It worked to move them off the ipad but only to my extrenal hard drive with no image preview, saying it cannot open the file, all I eally want to do is have them load like all my other images into iPhoto which I use almost everyday and not have to go back to shooting jpeg along...PLEASE HELP any suggestions??Thanks everyone...I tried and even downloaded the specific software released from Canon specific for Mac for my camera a Canon 6D... Nothing worked... IPhoto never would recognize the images....
BUT ..... in case someone else has this problem... I had to jump through hoops to figure it out... but finally with the help of several forums on here... I figured out a way to save my images and have them in a jpeg format to save for my memory folder for my daughter....so I did figure out a way to make it work...
If you transfer for images from camera(in raw format .cr2) to your ipad...... and cannot load them to iphoto like me....here is how to do it....
1. I searched my Mac, it comes with a software installed called "Image Capture" find it and load your pictures on
your ipad to a folder on your desktop for easy finding.
2. Search Google and Download Program Called Rawker....
3. Open Rawker... go to File
a. Select Batch - Select source Location - Select your file you saved your images in
b. Select File Batch - Select Source Destination - either make a file on your desktop or
select where you want your newly converted RAW/jpeg images to be placed
c. Select File batch and Start Batch...
4. After its done with the convert - you can import that new .jpeg folder of images to your iphoto
Bunch of crazy circles because I was told it was better to shoot in Raw .cr2 ... NOT ... It might be if you have the right program but I guess none of the ones I tried worked....
Until I find a better way I will just go back to shooting in jpeg fine.

Activation problems with Cingular. Please help very frustrated
Ok, here is the deal, I live in Orlando, FL most of the time, but I am in Michigan and I bougt 2 iphones today, that was 1000 bucks, plus 200 in security deposits. I went to cingular, payed the deposit, and now that im at home, i cant register the product. I have been on the phone with cingular suppost getting different reasons why i cant answer but i still want to check it out here. Im getting an address verification problem. The guy is saying that when we payed the sucurity deposit, we put our florida market address on file with the Pre Approved Credit Check Number. THere saying our sim cards are michigan sim cards, and its not letting me register because of the sim cards are not in the same market as the credit check number. I tunes keeps giving me an error of address though. Is anyone receiving this same problem? The error is saying that they cannot verify the address on file, as the address that im typing in, even though it is the same address. We tried changing everything to michigan, and still got the same problem. We changed the address on the credit check number, and the address that im trying to register in michigan.

You can only imagine that im upset not being able to even power the thing up. It wont let you go past the emergency call feature since its not activated.
*****Heres what you have to do Rodd...I used to be a RSM for Cingular.
First you need to cancel your first activation because your sim cards have been set up with activation in Michigan you will get a Michigan area code, prefix, etc. If you did not set it up with the exact are that you paid the deposit in, then you will not be able to activate it.
Ex: if I live in Texas, but want a California number, I have to go to Cali and set up my account, and then come back to Texas and I will have my Cali number while living in Texas.
If you tried to set it up wrong to many times it flags your account.
Either go back to the store you got them in and pay the security deposit again, or go to the closest ATT store in the area you would like to have your area code, prefix, etc. in.
Example: if you want a Michigan number, then go to Michigan..and set up your account all in the same place that you want your number....Billing addresses can be different but the activation address will be where the iPhone number is given from.

Error with Autoloader program - someone please help - so frustrated
HI there.... I am a wedding photography and use Mike d's autoloader program to zip through my wedding edits...it was working great until yesterday... I use it through bridge and when I try to ope the files, the autoloader comes up fine ..I pick my action....hit save and then I get a ps error 21 object is null line 1026 and then it I close that and hit the preassigned key to open up the files I get another error ps 8000 cannot open files beciase open options are incorrect.....I have tried reinstalling, updating, asking adobe forhelp ( they won't help becuase it is a third party program even though it is giving me ps errors), I have contacted Mike D the creator of the program and he is not sure what is going on either....any ideas at all ? I am at a loss and rely on this program to make the workflow much quicker! Any help would be appreciated
JillHave you received a resolution for this yet? I'm having exactly the same problem -- I purchased this software yesterday, got it set up, and ran through my first folder of images with no problem. When I tried to run the tool through my second batch of images, I got the error 21. I contacted Mike D, but he hasn't responded. Meanwhile I tried several combinations of uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, and switching to a different image file to try and resolve, all with no luck whatsoever. If you have a solution that you could share with me, I would really appreciate it!

I am creating a youtube video. I add the media to the file. Record the narration I'd like. Go to publish and share, went down to computer, chose the first one that says adobe flash player f4v file. When its done converting i play the converted file and it doesnt play the recorded audio. Please help really frustrated
