Help! Trying to print emails w/PDF attachments via bluetooth from 8300 to HP OfficeJet8470

Trying to print emails w/PDF attachments via bluetooth from 8300 to HP OfficeJet8470.
My boss shopped for and picked this phone based on the store staff.  He wants to be able to have our service tech be able to receive work orders via email, in the form of a pdf attachment, and be able to print using the bluetooth enabled HP Office Jet 8470, hardware that was sold to him in another store with the statements that it would work with his application.
Everything I have seen on this site, and the lack of information elsewhere, leads me to question if we have the correct applications/hardware at all...
If so, I need to be able to explain clearly to my boss any options that we have, and why or why not it won't work.
Any ideas at all?  Thanks in advance~    Reagan

Your BlackBerry alone won't connect to a Bluetooth printer. Whoever told him that it would should be questioned.
However, there is an application called BeamSuite, that offers a printing solution specifically for PDF documens that you should explore...
Print Documents to a Bluetooth Enabled Printer
http://www.slgmobile.com/beamsuite.html
BeamSuite is much more than a document viewer though. You can also print your documents directly from your BlackBerry to any Bluetooth enabled printer. Simply pair your BlackBerry device with the printer and print your documents.
If your printer is not Bluetooth enabled, you can still print your documents to it by connecting a Bluetooth printer adapter to your printer that connects to the printer’s USB port. A key differentiator of our solution is that it allows you to easily and transparently print to over 1500 compatible printers from virtually any BlackBerry device, not just the latest and the most powerful BlackBerry.

  • Can´t send emails with pdf attachments - why?

Since i moved all my accounts to my new airbook (OS X 10.8.2) everything works fine BUT i am not able to send emails with pdf attachments.I have an exchange and a mac.account - but they both won`t work.
The emails stay put in the local ausgang? exit box and won`t move away unless i delete them.
i checked the accounts, the activity - all says it works fine - but it doesn`t!
Maybe in the *deep* of my mac is one thing that says no pdf - but where can i find it?
I appreciate every helpful hint :-)
    greetings

it tries to send the email for about five minutes and than gives the message *server doesn't work* you want to try another? repeat? or later?
when i change the server e.g. from exchange to mac - tries again and without further notice i find the message in the outbox - even when i click that one and *send* again - nothing changes......
I already tried to name the attachments in.pdf - i also change the pdf to jpeg - nothing works - all emails i write after that go immediately to the outbox - so when i want to send messages at all i need to delete the ones with the attachment or send the other ones manually
Please notice in the activity window there is a lot of traffic :-) but it doesn`t help
i even closed all other programmes like excel, safari and stuff - but still
and i still have al lot of free GB on my airbook....
    any idea????

  • No longer able to print emails to pdf

Mysteriously, my Acrobat 9 Pro Extended will no longer allow me to print emails to pdfs. It used to do so. Now, when I try to print an email to pdf, I receive an error: invalidfont; offendingCommand; xshow.
I used the built in "repair" function and reloading the software, both to no avail.
Anyone know what the glitch might be?

    Hey beaswing,

  • I am trying to print all the PDF pages in a range of 5 pages but can only print one page at a time . . . It will print the current page, but not all or pages 1-5.  Can this be overcome?

I am trying to print all the PDF pages in a range of 5 pages but can only print one page at a time . . . It will print the current page only, but not all or pages 1-5.  I need to go to the next subsequent page and command to print current page; continuing with this procedure until all pages are printed one at a time. Can this be overcome?

You can use printPages(1, 5), however I need to know how you print current page.

  • Need help 2 get my new BB to receive my contacts via bluetooth from od phone!

Hi guys, I just got a lovely BB Curve today and have spent the last 4 hours trying in vain to get it receive my contacts list via bluetooth from my old phone. I have paired them up and can send to my old phone but cannot receive to my BB. My old phone attempts to connect and then it comes up with a connection failed message. I have tried all sorts: making sure phones are visibile, setting them to 2 mins ....then changing it to "yes" ...making sure devices trust connection and then asking for a prompt....taking the encryption off...then leaving it on....
I really am at my wits end as I have over 150 contacts and cannot face having to write them all out and manually type them in
I am also terrified of getting into my new car tomorrow and finding out that my BB won't pair to my in-car bluetooth set up!
    Thanks!

Not sure you can send/receive contacts via BLUETOOTH. Once the two devises are paired, then your done with the 2 minute limit and all that stuff. If each devise sees the name of the other devise, your done there. Then make sure there "connected" to each other. If not select the devise, press menu and select connect. Once that's done, your connected. Your car set-up should be just as simple. The setting about phone book entries, is for a bluetooth devise (headset, your car... things you make calls from and talk through) to have 'access' to your phone book to easily make phone calls. It doesn't copy or transfer your phone book, just has access. If your old phone has an option to "send contact via bluetooth" you'll probably have to do that for each contact and even then, I don't know that Blackberry will take it. Blackberry will however take v-cards. So if your old phone can e-mail a v-card, that would work. Blackberry can also synchronize with desktop applications like microsoft outlook and ever google mail. That way you'll have all your contacts from these locations as well. If your old phone can sync with these applications, that's another way to complete this task. This is done through your Blackberry Desktop Manager which also has a sync with other devises' so if your old phone has the ability to connect to a computer, you could try that. Many mobile phone carriers have software in their stores that help with this process and might be able to do this for you without charge.

  • Can my hp photosmart all-in-one 7200 printer connect to ipad 2 via bluetooth?

I have a hp photosmart all-in-one 7200 printer with a hp blue tooth dongle.  It works well with my cameras, but I cannot get my ipad 2 to recognize the printer.

    Hi,
Printing via Bluetooth from an iPad is not possible due to iOS limitations, as Apple did not include the Bluetooth printing protocol in the iOS.
If your printer is HP Photosmart C7200, you may use the HP ePrint Home & Biz App to print from your iPad through your home network
However for the Officejet 7200 your only option is to look for any available 3rd party printing solution from the App Store.

    Hi,
When you create a snapshot you create a snapshot task which (provided you are using a server-side data store) can be run from a job. To refresh the data, run the snapshot task as part of a job. If you create a job with both the snapshot and the process that uses it, they will automatically connect and will 'stream' the data through the snapshot into the process. You can then choose whether actually to write the snapshot or not (for improved performance efficiency if you want to do straight-through processing) by either enabling or disabling the staged data bucket that the snapshot writes to. The snapshot task being in the job means the data will be refreshed.
For design work in Director, you can refresh the snapshot by re-running it manually from the right-click menu.
    Regards,
    Mike

  • Printing to a pdf error after migrating from Acrobat 7 to Acrobat X Professional

Printing to a pdf seems be broken in Acrobat X on my XP machine.
I have just upgraded from Acrobat 7 professional to Acrobat X professional.
With Acrobat 7, printing to a pdf file from within a program (MsWord, Visio etc) was a breeze. Now, with Acrobat X on the same machine, the print spooler always reports 'this document failed to print' even though the pdf is created correctly. I am then forced to cancel the pint job within the spooler itself.
    Any help gratefully received.

  • Help -Can't print to my HP LaserJet via Ethernet Bridge

I have a new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.5. I'm trying to print with my old HP Laserjet 4MP Postcript printer. The printer is an old serial port printer connected to an Asante Ethernet Bridge with an Ethernet cord that plugs into my computer. This has worked fine for years on my G4 with OS 10.3. But, as soon as I try to use the same connection with the same settings on my new MBP, I get nothing.
Printer Setup finds the drivers for this printer no problem. Connected via AppleTalk. However, when I send something to print it never prints. The printer window just keep saying "Waiting for Job to Complete..."
Any ideas why I can't print. I've repaired permissions and I search other forums, but other people seem to be able to print like this???
Or, are there any alternative drivers that I could use to access this printer?
    Thanks!
    Laura

I don't have an answer but can suggest a couple of things. I use an old HP Laserjet 2100 with built-in ethnernet. I don't use Appletalk to print but IP printing. Your bridge must have a TCP/IP address. You might be able to use IP printing to send directly to that. Another idea is maybe you need to enable Appletalk on the MBP. By default it's disabled you can turn it on in the networking panel. You might already have that so I'm not sure if that would help. One last thing might if you have the firewall on in the sharing preferences that could be blocking it also.

  • Ability to print to a pdf lost when going from Acrobat 9 to 11

I upgraded from Acrobat 9 standard to 11 standard and have lost the ability to print to a pdf. Where do i go to add a pdf printer? The PDF printer icon in the "printers and faxes area" has been removed.
    Thank you

You will have to provide system info and other details. This is way too generic/ vague.

  • Neighbor below my office tried to 'PAIR UP' w/ my mac via BLUETOOTH

This is the deal, I live in an apartment and I have my home office in the spare room, which incidentally is directly above a teenager who's bedroom is right below my office. There are, of course many people in the building with computers etc, and there are about four wireless networks (that I can see) at any given time. What I did not consider was that my computer could be vulnerable (wirelessly) via bluetooth, mainly because I don't use it that much and certainly not on a regular basis.
I have a bluetooth mouse that I use only occasionally, preferring the hard wired version. Also, when I travel, I do have a portable BT printer (a Canon) which I practically never use at home. But, probably because of my lack of using the bluetooth technology on a regular basis, never really thought of it... except for yesterday..
I was at my desk working, and a screen popped up saying something to the effect of a certain bluetooth device, the name for the 'device' was actually the teenager's first name!.. so it was easy to know who it belonged to, requesting to 'pair up' or something like that w/ my mac. Of course I denied it, but then, and for the first time, realized that I hadn't paid ANY attention to bluetooth as an access to my computer. Which made me wonder what ELSE I didn't know about BT. So that's why I'm here posting my question & concerns.
I realize now, that I had left bluetooth 'ON' as well as it was 'discoverable'. After this event, I obviously turned the discoverable OFF and also just turned BT off altogether - until I figure out what I need to know to keep my computer safe. Which precisely is my question. What do I need to do w/ bluetooth to keep my computer secure and keep my nosey and tech-savvy neighbor out of my computer - and still be able to use other BT devices myself, if I want to??
I don't know what kind of BT device he had, nor do I know if he's tried this before. I was ignorant about the possibility, honestly. So, since I don't know, what do I need to do to keep this kid out of my computer via BT and still have the possibility of using bluetooth devices myself? I'm somewhat clueless of what's possible simply because I've used it only in limited and occasional situations.
Any particulars on this issue will be appreciated.
    Best regards.

While it is true that we should all be concerned about security, in your case, I'm not sure you need to be worried about your neighbor. In all likelihood, your neighbor has a Bluetooth device that he is using for his own computer and is not actively seeking to pair with yours. But, even if he is simply seeing if he can do it, you can do a few things to be a little more secure.
To be on the safe side, turn Bluetooth off when you are not using it. And, when you do use it, after initially pairing your device or devices, turn Discoverable off. After your devices have been paired, there is no need for Discoverable to be on. Finally, go to System Preferences, open Sharing, and make sure Bluetooth Sharing is not checked and that Pairing is required is checked. That should keep you safe.
