Help - updatd to 7.3 this morning and getting error
i got the error that 'cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration' does anyone know what that means and how I fix. I can't get iTunes to open at all anymore.

Hello, I attempted to sync my iPhone and get updates. Something went wrong. There is now only a grey screen that simply displays "iPhone" and then leads me to Location services to either enable or disable or to choosing a WiFi network. I have a MIFI, but cannot rememer the password. How do I get back to my phone (I can only make an emergency call), my apps, and all else? Please help!
Sounds like you restored your phone as new. If you follow all the steps, there a section that allows you to restore from a backup either through icloud or itunes.
You do have a backup of your phone right? If you don't then all is gone, but you can sync back your apps and music. -
have tried downloading most up to date version of i tunes, restarting computer, different usb lead, different usb port, checked / disabled security measures... nothing seems to work and it just keeps saying waiting on iphone when it is trying to restore but the loading bar appears empty on the iphone screen then nothing happens, phone goes blank and error message pops up!

Help understanding the nature of this 1006 and 1009 errors?

I am working in Flash Professional CC, testing an old game with two levels and a win and lose screen. The game works until you get to the second level scene. Once you're there, the 1006 output errors appear.
TypeError: Error #1006: removeChild is not a function.
at final_project_2_fla::golem_22/onHealth()[final_project_2_fla.golem_22::frame1:6]
removeChild( ) is only used in the golem health function which it is referencing., so I know the problem's probably there. Thing is, I don't know why Flash is telling me I'm using removeChild as a function or why a sixth frame is being reference. Unless that's a code line references?

I read up on the 1006 error because it's really common. I know the steps begin with tracing something, but I'm not sure what to begin tracing because it's referencing the function, but I think it's refencing the 27th line of a fourth frame? Which doesn't make sense because I don't have a fourth frame there.

Thank you for your time and effort.When you read errors, the references to find the code are frame:line as you thought it might be. The 1006 error is occuring at frame 1 line 6. The 1009 error is occuring at frame 4 line 27.
For the 1006 error, what you could do is trace the the parent object to see what it is. The problem might be as simple as you trying to cast it as an Object, when you might need to be casting it as a DisplayObjectContainer or some other type that has the removeChild function in its arsenal.
The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope. This could mean that the object....
- is declared but not instantiated
- doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
- does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
- is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
- is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s). -

I woke up this morning and my iPod was empty. HELP!
I have a 2nd generation 15GB iPod. As of last night everything was fine. I had used it to play music through iTunes (version 6.0.3) and left it plugged into my computer (which was shut down) overnight. I woke up this morning and went to put some music on through iTunes and it quit itself. I reopened it, and then it said that it could not connect to my iPod and that I should reset it to factory settings using iPod updater.
Naturally, this message worried me. I safely removed my iPod from my computer and went to look at the iPod. All the music was gone. Under "About" it says I have 0 songs, a 13.9 GB capacity and have 3.0 GB available.
Is the iPod confused about how much space is being used on it? Is everything really gone? I tried double-clicking the iPod icon when it was on my desktop, but it truly appears empty.
Any help or insight into this dilemma would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!If the iPod is still showing used space, then you may have a corrupted hard drive.
This doesn't mean that the songs are not on your iPod, hence the fact that the iPod reports used space and iTunes may show them.
You should restore the iPod and then reload the songs from iTunes. -

I was on the compujter last night, went to bed (leaving the computer on, as i often do)
and got up this morning and it was powered off. My first thought was there had been a power outage, but there were no other signs of this around the house. So i try to power it up..
i press the button on the tower and as i depress, it lights up, but as soon as i release it goes off...the light won't stay on, and there is no sign of start up...no fans, no hardrive hmm., nothin. I tried pulling the power cord from behine, just for the heck of it, replugged it in, and tried again and again and again, and nothing...
Could this be a power supply issue? Or a mother board issue? Can someone pls help...i have a mac authorized repair place near by, but i'd like to minimize expenses just on trouble shooting u know?

Yes we did a back up, but it's a new computer and we can't find it anywhere on it. We had to "authorize" it through itunes, but still nothing. Thanks for the help

Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. What caused you to get the impression that I was writing something else? furthermore this sentence - "The solution you described in your initial message isn't actually once since all the time you were operating on different account that weren't actually linked" does not make sense, I think you mis-edited it.and I need to point out that you are incorrect. I WAS NOT OPERATING ON DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS I WAS OPERATING ON ONE SKYPE ACCOUNT, THAT WAS CREATED USING A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT just like you say you recommend. I still don't know how you can misread my initial entry like that. If you have a better solution to my initial problem - changing the primary mail of a skype account created throuth either a microsoft account or a facebook account, Please write a sticky to explain how to do it, and please inform skype support that Yes it can be done, and this is the way it is done. So far my "lucky shot" seems to be the only way to do it.

I restarted my Firefox this morning and it automatically updated to version 9.0.1. Since that update, I am unable to open Firefox. When I try to open it (and this is on a Mac), it does not respond and freezes with a white screen, the tab says "connecting...," and there are no bookmarks or anything showing on the browser. It does not respond at all - I cannot even click into the navigation to change any of the preferences. Please, someone help! Not having Firefox is killing me!
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Updated to Adobe Muse 2014 this morning and have worked in it for the last 8 hours. Now when I try to publish the updated site to Business Catalyst for my client to preview it crashes everytime. I have tried just publishing altered files only, then tried the whole site again, and then tried publishing as a new site altogether. Thought I would then try to export as HTML in the hope of uploading the files via an FTP client and Muse crashes and locks up again. I am extremely stressed about this as I am in the last few days of of website I have been working on now with no issues since December. We are due to go live and my client needs to see it. I am desperate for an answer. It is not looking good. I am on an Apple Mac and have not had any isses publishing it for the last 6 months. Not very happy to say the least. Need desperate help.
Hi Zak, I got onto Adobe Customer Care Live Chat this morning and gave them the error message. After some trouble shooting with them it appears the older archived file of the site still publishes. I have now reverted back to the old file and copied and pasted out of the new file and from some ideas given to me by support I am now able to publish to Business Catalyst. It seems there was something corrupt within the new pages added yesterday. I have no idea if this would have still happened if I hadn't updated but I am glad it wasn't a Muse specific problem. I am loving using Muse and the support from Adobe has been excellent. Thanks everyone. By the way I do love the new version and apart from this hick up that lost me a few hours, aged me some more and gave me grey hair I really love Muse. Thanks again.
