Help with the new Garageband?

I'm trying to export a file to iTunes (it's about 3 hours long) and I didn't see an option to make a podcast on the new Garageband so I just went ahead so make a regular audio file.
When I clicked on Share and tried to export it to iTunes, it said, "The bounce file exceeds the maximum file size (AIFF 2 GB; WAV 4 GB). Please change the format to CAF or decrease the bounce range."
I've never heard of CAF before and when I typed it in Help, it came up with no results. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
I even tried copying and pasting some of the audio files from my Garageband project into another one but it won't let me open two projects at the same time. I'm perfectly fine with making multiple projects in order to reduce the size and the time of the file but I don't know how or if it's even possible to save all the clips I recorded. I really don't want to lose my hard work and I need to get this project onto my iPod.

The podcast option has been discontinued in GarageBand 10.0, sorry.

The CAF option is not available in GarageBand, only in Logic. So this error message is buggy, ignore it.
But the file size limits do apply. If you want to export a 3 hours song, don't export as WAV or AIFF, export in a compressed format. Try to share with medium or low quality:
Or try to share your song in separate sections of less than an hour, that do not exceed the file size limit, if you need the maximal quality.

Need some Help with the new Genius Mixes on iTunes 9

I would like to know how to use the New Genius Mixes on iTunes 9. I don't quit know how to use it yet and like all of us we're all just learning how to use the Genius Mixes. I did watch the KeyNote but they didn't go into great detail on how to use it. Does Apple have a web site that has more detail instruction on how to use the genius Mixes? I did find some info. on how to use the Genius mixes but it didn't go into great detail on how or what to do with the genius Mixex and thats what I need.
when I click on the genius Mixes icon under the "Genius", what shows up is a Big square with four album images of my music that I have in my music collection, I go and roll my mouse over the Big square with my four music albums and click on it to play the music and it'll play what ever I have in the Genius Mix list plus as I roll my mouse over the Big Square, under it it says "Jazz Mix" with some text writings under the Jazz mix.
I want to change the Jazz mix Title and I want to know how to add more music square boxes to my Genius Mixes just like they show in the Keynote and I would like to edit and create my own four square music boxes in my Genius Mixes.
I never used my music genius list, I always created just a play List, now I am just learning how to use this music Genius lists and I don't know how to use it at all and I need someone that knows how to use thr Genius Mixes list to help me how to use it since there isn't a how to book yet for the new iTunes 9.
Can someone Please help me with the new genius Mixes on iTunes.

Today, I was getting an array out of bounds exception on a split
I don't see how that could happen with the 'split' method since it creates its own array.
For this particular string, ordSplit.length = 24 and commas = 26.
PERFECT! That is exactly what it should be!
Look closely at the end of the sample string you posted and you will see that it has trailing empty strings at the end: '1096200000000242505,,,'
Then if you read the Javadocs for the 'split' method you will find that those will NOT be included in the resulting array:

Splits this string around matches of the given regular expression. This method works as if by invoking the two-argument split method with the given expression and a limit argument of zero. Trailing empty strings are therefore not included in the resulting array.
Just a hunch but your 'out of bounds exception' is likely due to your code assuming that there will be 26 entries in the array and there are really only 24.

Help with the News Widget

I am having some issues with the news widget and I don't know what I am doing wrong to have it come up like this. (I have attached a screenshot) Nothing is overlapping to make an error like this. Can someone help me?
It is supposed to be next to the grey text, not below it.

Figured out a workaround. I needed a convenient method to access the rows of the table from JavaScript. It turns out that the following works (on IE 6, anyway), though it depends on the HTML <div> tag:

I need help with the new update

I am at a complete loss on what to do. I have been trying to install the new update but it keeps bringing up an error. I have searched on here for some solutions and I believe I am not doing this right. I have uninstalled all the items everyone has suggested (ex. Bonjour...) and rebooted. I went and downloaded iTunes again but two things keep happening:
1. While the iTunes Setup is installing and pop-up box says "Object already exists" and this pops up multiple times
and
2. After those messages go away another pop up says "iTunes Installer completed - Errorc occurred during installation before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again."
What am I doing wrong here? Can someone please help me? I have a Windows 7 laptop.

For "Object already exists" or "Access denied" errors when installing try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). Uninstall if you have it, then reboot, and try installing iTunes again.

Need help with the new Multi-cam feature in CC

Hi,
I'm trying to use the Multi-cam feature in CC and have a few questions, so would be happy with help/advice for any of the issues below. The platform is Windows 7 Pro 64bit.
The first question is what am I doing wrong? This question relates to the fact I'm trying to use Multi-cam and encountering a lot of frustrating glitches, as sometimes it seems to work and at others it doesn't.
The video I'm trying to edit comes from a dance show so I created a sequence called Act 1. I then highlighted the six clips of Act 1 with Cam 01 at the top, as I wanted the audio from this clip and made a Multi-cam feature using the audio synch. I dragged it to the sequence, set the prog window to Multi-cam and was amazed at how well it had synchronised all clips, as I could see all six clips with great audio synch from Cam 01. So far so good and after thinking how brilliant it was, things went downhill from there
I started by using ripple delete to drag to the start of Act one and then tried editing with Multi-cam. That's where I encountered the first problem, as sometimes it seemed to toggle between cams but didn't put edit points in and the selected cam had a yellow border and not a red one. At other times it inserted edit points when I changed cams and the selected cam has a red border. I can't work out what I'm doing, or not doing for this to happen. Can anyone help please?
The second question is how do I cut audio and video at exactly the same point, as I want to edit out pauses in between the different elements of the actual dance show. When I use the razor tool in Multi-cam it only cuts the video. I tried highliting audio and video using shift, but to no effect. If it matters audio and video are shown as linked when I right click. I thought I might get it to work if I revealed all original clips within the MC nest using the technique shown in "Adobe Learn." This was Ctrl double click, but it resulted in the third problem.
When I tried Ctrl double click I ended up with only Cam 02 showing in the V2 track and after some frustrating attempts at resolving this issue I decided to start all over again. I deleted the PP project and created a new one, importing everything again. I followed exactly the same procedure as I originally did to create a Multi-cam nest, but when I dragged it to the new sequence I saw Cam 02 in V2 of the sequence, which is the same as it was before I deleted the original project. Premiere Pro seems to have annoyingly remembered the actions that went wrong, so please can anyone tell me how to tell Premiere Pro not to do this?

HOWEVER, you must be warned that multi-cam in CC is currently broken. A patch is in the works, but until it is released you should not use multi-cam in CC.

HELP with the new version of skype

ok Thank you but one other question have you updated your iPhoto to the New Photos? if you did then in settings how do you have yours so a copy of a picture deleted but you don't want it to come back because iI have deleted a lot of pictures and now they are back what the heck is up with that? and Here is what I mean by settings this first pic is the General settings
this second picture is iCloud in settings

Help with the new E17?

I've recently updated to the new e17-svn package (38347-1), and for some reason I am unable to divine, it refuses to start through entrance, or through any other way other than typing 'xinit enlightenment_start' at terminal, which has me really confused. Further, it seems to initialize through xterm:

| `-xterm---enlightenment-+-enlightenment_f
which leaves an open xterm window on the desktop when it starts (one that, obviously, cannot be closed, or the entire tree is terminated).
Xterm is version 239-1. Finally, I cannot find any indication of what is going on in any of my e17 config files or in the Xorg logfile. Xorg starts up just fine and dandy when I start it by itself, as does Entrance - neither one can initiate E17, though.
All of my packages are repo-standard. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong, or know where I can find more information on the problem?

It may just be that the current version of entrance does not work, I've seen a couple of posts about it the last week or so. I'll update the e17 packages later today, or you can try recompiling entrance via abs yourself.
or you can do what bgc1954 said until the package is updated, though I'm not sure of you need to put 'exec' before 'enlightenment_start' or not.

Help with the new IOS screens

I just upgraded my old Ipad 2 to the new IOS and am totally confused. Before if I tapped the button on the outside frame then all my open applications would show in the bottom of the screen and I could tap them to close them. How do I get applications such as Yahoo Mail to close now when I am finished reading?

To dismiss now ou still double tap the home button, but swipe the material just above the icon up and away and it will close the app.

Can anyone help with the new App Store app? It keeps telling me that there is an unknown error even though I can access my account information, thanks.

Any idea why upgrading to 5 should cause problems with App Store app. Can I delete it and download it again. How might I do this.

I had an unknown error problem with the Mac App Store, and this is how I fixed:
(1) Inside Mac App Store select 'Debug' menu from top menu bar
(2) Select "Show download folder ...' from drop down menu
(3) It will then take you to the folder in Finder
(4) Press Cmd + I while on highlighted folder to Get Info (or choose 'Get Info' from right-click menu)
(5) Under sharing and permissions click on the padlock to enter admin password and make changes
(6) Now press the plus "+" sign and from the dialogue box add the Administrators (admin) group
(7) When returned to the Get Info box, under sharing and permissions select 'Read and Write' as the option next to the admin group
(8) Close the Mac App Store app, then re-open it. Now try downloading apps. It worked for me.
(note: I'm finding I have to lock and unlock a couple of times with Lion before it lets me change some permissions, so if unresponsive first time try locking again then unlocking)

I completed the Iphone IOS 7 update but now my itunes says i need the new version. After i downloaded that it then said i need to have at least OS X v 10.8 or higher i have no idea what that is???
