I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

This means that your phone was hacked to be unlocked. Updating it restored the phone to Apple specs and re-locked to the original carrier.
You will need to find out who the original carrier is and see if you qualify for unlocking.

Restore your iPhone 5 as new before you restore it from the backup. That will get rid of the old iOS and install a new one. Then you'll be able to restore from the backup.
Bear in mind that if the backup is larger than the capacity of the device then you will not be able to restore from that backup. In other words:
If you had a 32gb iPhone 3GS and you bought a 16gb iPhone 5, and your backup for your 3GS was 18gb then you would not be able to restore using this backup.

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5209 might help you. An iPhone 4 can airplay content from apps that support airplay and iTunes but it cannot mirror. If your game does not have airplay in the app you cannot mirror it to the apple TV so I don't know if you can play just the music. You should have no problem playing your iTunes over airplay though.

Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out.

I tried using my phone but cannot find the update software button even when I have gone through the right process by tapping SETTING, then GENERAL, yet could not find Update Software button. I mean the update Software button is not seen there.

I saw your message. Below are the problems:
Whenever I connect my iphone 3GS to my PC through a USB. My itunes software comes up automatically.
1. After that a message appears from the itunes that states that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error cccured (306).
2. After the above, an alert message comes up which states that A new iphone software version 5.1 is availlable for my iphone. It then states would you like to download it and update your iphone now? With the options buttons as Cancel or Download and Update or Download Only. Whenever I clicked on Download and Update or Download Only, the next message that comes up is that The iphone Software Update Server Could not be Contacted and suggest make sure your network setting are correct and active or try again later.
The above is the challenges I am facing now.

There are four possible causes of the activation error:
The activation server is unavailable. Rare, but it happens. Usually fixed within minutes.

Your phone isn't jailbroken, but the computer you are connected to during the restore or update was used to hack or jailbreak some other iOS device, and its network database was corrupted in the process.

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:
Turn your phone off. I have the same problem. Artwork is correct in iTunes, but does not sync with iPhone, even after deletion and re-sync. I have albums that did not originally have artwork that were transferred to the iPhone (3GS) without artwork. I then downloaded the artwork in iTunes, deleted the original files off the iPhone, and re-transferred the files (which now have artwork). The artwork did not transfer over to the iPhone. Basically, I'm stuck with the amount of artwork I had when I synced the iPhone for the very first time.
