Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

After having no internet for over 24hrs, my IPad has completely shut down. I have tried everything I can think of, including a reset but think that was a really bad move!! Any ideas for how to get my pad back? Simple words please..I am not a pro AT ALL.

My internet was down for over 24hrs after a storm. During that time, my IPad completely shut down and I can't get it going again. I studied the manual but couldn't find a similar topic. I reset it and now it is totally goofed up.
Does anyone have any ideas or should I just take it to an Apple store and pay?? Any solutions you may have, PLEASE use simple words as I am not a pro, by any means....probably why I'm in this situation.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

The troubleshooting steps detailed below can help get your iPhone back into working order.
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

My airport extreme is a little over a year old. All of a sudden, we cannot connect to the network with the password. I am the only administrator and have not changed the password. The signal shows strong but no connection. It is not the modem.

Airport extreme suddenly stopped "accepting" password. The signal appears strong -- just will not accept a log on. No changes have been made. It is not the modem. Have replaced the airport with my old linksys and wifi works fine. Is there a way to "reset" it and start over. We've unplugged it (airport) for 30 minutes and still the same result.

To do a factory reset, unplug the Extreme and push in the small round reset button on the back with a straightened paper clip or point of a pen and hold it in while plugging it back in - when the light starts to blink fast, release the button - then wait for the light to blink slowly - this indicates that the factory reset has completed - you can now re-configure the Extreme from scratch.

My keyboard doesn't work when I connect to a Windows 7 computer with Remote Desktop.

I got a new computer at work that has Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on it. I set up a Remote Desktop connection from my iMac at home and connected. However, when I tried to use the keyboard, nothing happened. After a little pecking I found that the DELETE key worked. Also, I found that the keyboard would work correctly if I held down the FUNCTION key. Very weird.
My old Windows XP computer was still connected so I connected to it via Remote Desktop. The keyboard works normally there. It has always worked in Windows XP so I was surprised when it didn't work in Windows 7.
I've been searching but haven't found anyone with this same issue. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

2. Did you build a USB with Windows 7 ISO and Bootcamp drivers?
3. You should use a USB2.0 disk, not a USB3.0 disk (flash drive).

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4. I cannot find the trick to make Firefox 4 remember my tabs when I shut down my computer. How do I get that feature back?

In the prior version, on exit, Firefox asked me if I wanted to save my tabs for the next session. Firefox 4 does not do that. It loses my tabs so when I open up a new session I am starting from scratch rather than where I left off at.

There are the two entirely separate methods of resuming with the previous tabs. As mentioned in the first part of my message, the method you have chosen is to specifically start with the last set of tabs instead of starting with a home page.
The other method is to (maybe more as a one off) select to open with previous tabs from either the button in the default page, or from the history menu. It is this method that previously had the question as you closed down, there is no longer the question asking if you want to save the open tabs, although you do still get the option to use them on startup. It is a more sensible method, but it does cause concern for those of us used to being asked on closedown.

The charging signal is flashing on the battery icon !

I have an HP pavilion ,windows 7 ultimate . At the lowest of the screen on the battery icon the charger icon is coming and hiding ,coming and hiding fast. It is flashing. I am using a new charger about 3 months ago . And the battery is changed about 4 months ago.
P.S: my laptop is lagging and freezing ,it needs a format . Can this have any relation to this problem ??? Please help

Are you by any chance using iTunes 7.0.2 and firmware version 1.2?
If you are then I would surmise that you are the victim of a bug in the firmware (if you look at the forum there are thousands of people with the same issue)
Unfortunately for us users Apple appear to be burying their head in the sand on this one because there has been no official recognition of the problem, meanwhile people are continuing to download the firmware, oblivious to the fact that this will render their precious and much loved iPods completely useless.
This is clearly a completely cynical policy by Apple because they know that publicly admitting the problem would seriously harm their sales in the busy Christmas period.......POOR SHOW APPLE!!! THIS WILL HARM YOU MUCH MORE IN THE LONG TERM.
Fear not though, they will not be able to hide it for long because I know that the BBC are investigating this.

I have an iphone4 and I could ring people and they could hear me fine but just recently they can't hear me, I have only had this phone for just over a week.

I have rung people and it has been working fine but now out of the blue, i ring people and they end up hanging up on me as they can't hear me.

i would recomend going into an apple store and making an appoitmnet at the genius bar. or it may be you sim card im not sure.

This is very upsetting . This product seems to be very poorly made for the big bucks they are getting for these phones.

Literal minutes? Or is that an over exaggeration? If you do mean minutes, and the device is getting hot, it would be an obvious hardware issue. Take it to an Apple Retail Store or call AppleCare. If you want to try to troubleshoot the issue, refer to http://www.apple.com/au/batteries/iphone.html to turn off some of the irrelevant settings. This is obviously not an issue with every iPhone and it appears you've just had some bad luck.
